David the co-owner came to my house for the estimate....totally changed my idea of what i needed done...actually the new version was less money and more efficient! the crew was here all day...very careful and cleaned up after themselves. it was a difficult installation and they did an excellent job. i highly recommend this company

The service that Southland provides is always exceptional. Same-day appointments are not uncommon and the technicians are always very friendly and outgoing.

Southland Heating and Air gave me a window between 1 and 3 pm for my appointment to fix our A|C during a heatwave. Prior to the appointment, they sent a text which I did not see asking if I wanted to change my appointment to a window of 8 AM to 10 AM. Even though I never saw the message or confirmed the change, they went ahead and changed it anyway without talking to me first, We were not around when they showed up supposedly around 8 AM and they did not call. Nor did they decide it might be a good idea to honor the original agreed-upon appointment time. we waited around for them for over three hours. Not only did they not show up, but they did not call to say they were not coming. When I reached out to as them yesterday to remind them that they had flaked on me and try to make another appointment, they did not respond at all. It is a shame because the man I originally spoke to on the phone Joe Cool seemed very friendly and professional and good at his job. If only the tech could show up when they say they are going to and not assume that their clients are psychic, or at the very least give me a call so I do not waste my day waiting around for someone who is never coming. I have never written a negative review of anyone until now. I like to spend my time in other ways, but this was just ridiculous. Now, I think the best idea is just to contact a different company rather than an attempt for a third time to try to get these guys to come to help me with my air-conditioning.

I was very impressed with his knowledge and expertise of this Trane system. Southland first installed this system in my home in 2016.
