Well I did get a second opinion on July 19 and he found the unit dissembled. He rewired everything and found out it needed fuses and only cost me $169.00. I was very very happy. I would definitely recommend this company and planning to have them put in a new water heater.
I called All Air Masters today (7/19). I told them to cancel my order and I put down a $100 deposit and the service call was only $69.00. I was willing to drive by and replace the deposit check. She said they probably deposit my check already and will send me a refund.
I would not recommend this company.
"Member, I appologize for your concern you may have with All Air Appliance Masters. When our Technician Brian Goldstien was sent to your home on July 17, he discovered two blown fuses, which he replaced with two new ones and yet both blew again. Brian then proceeded to to find out why the roof Gas Pack sytem was blowing fuses which led to the discovery of an electrical short from the compressor. Due to these issues with one of the major componets, an option was given for a replacement for a new more Efficient Unit. Brian Goldstein has been with our company for more than 4 years and has never received a customer complaint. I'm sending you a full refund for the deposit of $100.00 you paid. All Air Appliance Masters values our customers and for the last 32 years has been providing the best possible service that our customers have come to expect . Thank You . "Yes the repairs on youre Carrier ( buil in 1985 ) furnace was a chalenge . The main reason was, the previews repairs performed by another Company installing wrong parts not made for these furnace , rewiring and shorting out some of the electrical componets. The wiring hardness was need it and Carrier the company that made the furnace gave us the wrong parts. However we did not charge you any more monies for the additional labor when we discover the furnace needing more parts,and completed repairs the same day. "IN RESPONSE TO THE MEMBER, ALL AIR APPLIANCE MASTERS SERVICED THIS CALL IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY'S INSPECTIONS, AS WELL AS IN ACCORDANCE WITH OUR OWN EXCELLENT STANDARDS FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. OUR WORK ON THIS PROPERTY WAS PASSED BY THE CITY INSPECTOR, AND THEREFORE, NO CORRECTION ON OUR PART WAS NECESSARY. THE CAUSE OF THE DAMAGE WAS A PLUMBING PROBLEM THAT HAD OCCURRED LONG BEFORE OUR TECHNICIANS SET FOOT IN THIS HOUSE. IT IS UNFORTUNATE THAT THE MEMBER FELT OTHERWISE. WE REGRET THE FACT THAT THE DAMAGE WAS CAUSED BY PLUMBING IN THE HOUSE, BUT ALL AIR APPLIANCE MASTERS IS NOT TO BLAME FOR THIS OCCURRENCE. IN OVER 30 YEARS, THIS IS THE FIRST TIME OUR COMPANY HAS EXPERIENCED A CASE LIKE THIS AND WE REGRET THE FACT THAT WE COULD NOT PLEASE THIS HOMEOWNER. OUR GOAL HAS ALWAYS BEEN AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE TO PROVIDE EXCELLENT QUALITY SERVICE TO ALL OF OUR HOMEOWNERS. THE MEMBER DID TAKE THIS MATTER TO THE COURT SYSTEM AND THE JUDGE RULED IN OUR FAVOR."
