Felix Tree Service

Left message Tuesday, 9/17 that I was looking to have a mulberry tree stump ground down and wanted someone to come by and give me a estimate. Felix phoned me Wednesday morning 9/18, gave me a general idea of cost (between $200 and $400). He was unable to come by Wednesday but would call me Wednesday night to set up an appointment. In the meantime I decided not to remove the tree stump.

They rushed the work, left a mess.

Representative came to my home on Saturday; crew came to remove tree on Wednesday. Crew arrived 15 minutes early. Worked quickly and efficiently. Cleanup was most impressive.

I found these guys on Angies and have since used them 2 times, this was the 3rd. They are good...really good. They showed up right on time with some extememly impressive trucks and a full crew. They removed security cameras, moved pool furniture and basically treated the job like it was their own back yard. And then removed everything they cut down. I did not make this easy with a large pool all around them, but they did it. Three times is the winner, they have me as a customer until death do us part!

A very pleasant experience start to finish. I left as they began the job and returned later in the evening. I couldn't tell they had even been there, not a piece of sawdust in the street. A little pricey, but worth it for the excellent service. Highly recommended.

I got two estimates for this work. Both businesses had very good online and personal references. Although the representatives of both businesses were very pleasant, Ruben from Felix Tree Service obviously knew alot more about his profession. The other man was willing to do whatever i asked for, while Felix explained how some of the things I was asking for would cause more problems in the future. The estimate from Felix was higher, about $300.00, but Ruben and I discussed it and he agreed to a lower price that was still fair for them. Ruben and his crew arrived on time and did an excellent job. They not only trimmed the trees, they blew off the roof and the grounds and even took away bags of leaves that I had left on the side of the house. There was a crew of about 5 men, including Ruben, who worked from early morning until early afternoon. When I saw the number of men it took to do the job, the equipment required and the time it took, PLUS how great their work was, I had second thoughts about paying them their requested price, so I paid them what Ruben's original estimate was--$1300--and was happy to do it. Great work, very professional. The trees are beautiful!

Then I am very pleased with the job they did. Felix tree service visited my home, and prepared an estimate for the job. It was scheduled about two weeks after the estimate. Their communication was outstanding. They called me back when promised, answered questions. On the day the service was performed, two workers arrived on time (actually just a little early) and went to work promptly after we briefly agreed on the exact scope of the pruning. (I was not at home when the estimate was prepared.) When the pruning, shaping, and clean-up was complete, I was presented with a bill that agreed with the estimate. I would not hesitate to use Felix Tree Service again.

I had a very large mulberry tree that hasn't had any trimming/shaping for some time. The service was very helpful in suggesting the best route to go with the tree.

Appointment scheduled for 9:30 am. When I arrived at the property they were already working. I was told they arrived shortly after 8:00am. This can be a good thing..... or an inconvenience, depending upon situation and one's perspective. He was able to get a truck mounted extension bucket into the back yard by removing fence and gate on one side of the house. This made the job go much faster and seemed much safer than climbing with equipment. He had a large crew with him and was ready to climb should it have been necessary.The yard was completely cleaned where they worked; they were careful of the sprinklers in the lawn, and were very professional from start to finish. Felix was present the entire time, supervising and participating. They replaced the fencing and gate very quickly and professionally at the end. They completed everything in 6 hous. Felix listened to my concerns, made his recommendations based on 20+ years of experience, and did an excellent job of cutting back a very large, old tree while maintaing the shape and beauty. I was very concerned about the tree, and I was very pleased with the results. Re pricing: I had a lower estimate, and a much higher estimate. Felix impressed me with his knowledge of trees, and his willingness to listen to my concrerns. Will definitely use him again and highly recommend.

He was very prompt. He came out the next day. He was professional and it was a very reasonable quote.

They worked quickly and carefully, did a great job of cleaning up without messing up the lawn or other surrounding plants.

Everything went great, would definitely be calling on them again.

Called for an estimate and Ruben came out same day. He was very polite and listened to what my thoughts were for the job I wanted him to do. He also offered helpful suggestion. He was able to give me a written quote that day before he left. We scheduled a time for the work to be done. Ruben and his crew were prompt and worked very hard all day to finish everything in just one day. They did a wonderful job at clean up and an excellent job with our trees. They never looked better!

From start to finish they were exceptional.

They were wonderful to work with. They came same day for my estimate and they were back 2 days later for service. I had a dilapidated fence they needed to work around and they were able to remove it, do the work, and put the fence back temporarily while I'm waiting to have it replaced. The yard was completely free of debris when they finished working. Would use them again.

I called on the basis of Angie's List rating as a cable installed by Bruce's Tree Service had pulled loose and they never replaced it. Felix replaced this cable with a better quality double cable, and further secured the tree with a bolt through the split trunk to further secure it. I might have thought the price was excellent if I new more about the current rates for tree care. It seemed a little high as I had previously paid Bruce's Tree service $1000.00 for trimming about a ton of wood out of the tree and installing the inadequate cable.

We called and were able to have a quote done by the next day. We were quoted $500 for 4 trees: 1 medium cherry tree, 1 medium persimmon tree, two small trees and two large bushes. After the initial quote and scheduling of removal, we decided that we wanted to remove the remaining items in the yard (1 lemon tree, 1 apple tree, 1 large tree, 1 fig tree and 1 small tree.) We didn't ask them about the additional work until they arrived to remove the initial 4 trees, and were extremely flexible, agreeing to remove everything for $1000. They arrived at 8:30, and by about 10:00 we had a yard clear of trees, bushes and waste. They cleaned up copious amounts of fallen fruit and a large pile of assorted yard waste that had already been there before their arrival. Felix was very personable and the crew was very polite. They are efficient and thorough workers. We are very satisfied with the job, and would definitely recommend them to others.

They arrived on time with a large crew and the work was done in no time. We thought we would have to hang around all day. The work was done perfectly and everything cleaned up . I have already recommended them and plan to use them next time we need tree work.

I reviewed this company last time I used them and they were excellent. So I thought a follow up might be in order since I used them again but for many more trees. Once again they exceeded my expectations. They arrived earlier than they planned, they had a large crew that made the job fast. They totally cleaned my back yard including the pool (which is always a nice thing) and then explained what and why they had done the timing in the way they did. I'm sold. I have them set up for each year. Why waist my time looking around when these guys do more than they promise. I have nothing negative about them and being a business owner who has the same work ethic as they do all I can say is it is refreshing. Hire em!

Do make sure your job is scheduled properly! Other than that, it was a job well done.

Contractor phoned me and gave me quote with in 24 hours of my initial call. Work was performed 2 days later. Good quality work, fast, they have the right equipment, and the crew hustles. Owner there on site. For my work, 2 guys cutting and 3 guys on the ground with a chipper. When cutters were done, they cleaned up and moved on. If I had done the mulberry, it would have been 2 days and I would have had to rent a chipper and manlift. All their insurance, WC, and contractors license up to date. Nice job.

They called in the morning and gave an approximate time of arrival. when they arrived they knocked at the door to inform us that they were there and ready to start the job. When they were done they cleaned up and left. Great job and clean up job.

They were very quick to respond to the initial phone call. Quote was received within a few hours. They are very accommodating to your schedule, as I wanted to be present while the work was performed to answer any questions. They are very receptive to your wishes and provide their expertise pleasantly. I've never seen tree trimming performed so "surgically" and precisely...amazing.

We called and left an inquiry for an estimate. Within 15 minutes we had a return call and an onsite meeting scheduled for 2 days later. Gabriel was a bit late for the meeting, but called twice that day to keep us informed of his whereabouts. As a contractor myself, I appreciated this type of communication. He was very professional, courteous and informative. We had a written quote on the spot. We then asked him to look at some work at a rental property, and he followed us right over there. Another written quote, and we were done. We scheduled the work right then. Both properties were completed in one day. Crews were professional, and fast. All items were performed as described and the clean up was impeccable. Pricing was less than other quotes we received, and the work was done as described, not sure what more you could ask for. We are very happy, and would recommend these guys highly.
