This business demands cash/check only, and demanded a 70% down-payment from us. Agreed upon product fabrication/delivery timelines were not adhered to. Installation was cancelled twice and the third installation was failed due to defective, substandard product fabrication and delivery. The roman shades were incorrectly measured: one had large gaps at the edges revealing a partial view of my front yard, and two had jagged edges and unmatched patterns. There were no cord catches and a plastic pull fell off the end of one shade when I maneuvered it. The pillows delivered were poorly fabricated and were stuffed with loose pieces of batting - not the agreed upon pillow inserts. Two of three motorized, remoted transitional shades were laid in the window sills of my husband's new office and were not installed because the owner claimed he did not have the mounting hardware. The owner could not produce any boxes, packaging, consumer documents, warranty, hardware, or other. One month earlier, the owner sent the same shades back to the manufacturer for motorization. The motors were placed on the wrong side of the shades, there was a dent in the head rail of one of the shades, and one battery pack was defective. The owner did not deliver new remotes, rather delivered two used Somfy remotes that he took out of an old Ziploc bag. According to the manufacturer, new remote controls are pre-programed to specific shades in the factory, and are included in the boxes sent to the vender. Ultimately, I had cardboard in two bedroom and one bathroom window for 4 months while waiting for the business to perform which it did not do. We ended up using the services of another vender who installed custom products two and three weeks from the original date of order. My husband's office had no window coverings for 9 months. Ultimately, the manufacturer sent us two brand new transitional shades and told us to "throw away" the defective shades that we believe had been used. I paid another installer to install the transitional shades. I have not seen the third transitional shade: The owner stated he sent it back to the vender to be cut down, then refused to verify the proper dimensions for us or to deliver. Bottom line: The owner refused to do further business with us, to install, to deliver, to read or respond to our emails, called me names, and harassed me for contacting consumer protection agencies. Furthermore, the owner refused to return our daughter's antique vanity seat that he was to have recovered... The owner owes us a hefty refund.
