It went very well. They called back in about 18hours. It took more than a week for them to receive parts, but I had to call them to follow-up about that. The service person who came to our home was perfectly professional and pleasant and finished the job in good time.

He made sure to arrive on time even though he was very busy and traffic was crazy coming to my home. I really appreciated the effort and his word.

Spoke with provider on 3 occasions making and rescheduling appointments because he couldn't make the appointments. Then he stopped communications completely.

They broke my treadmill.
I have a good True treadmill. I did a lot of research when I went to buy it. I spent the extra money. I bought something sturdy to last through the years. I use my treadmill four or five times a week. It is about two years old.
It started to squeak. These guys were recommended for service by the store where I bought the treadmill. I made an appointment and rearranged my schedule to have the belt greased.
After they left, the front of the treadmill rocked back and forth when I ran on it. This had never happened before. I called them to come back. They came back and tightened some bolts, I guess. A few weeks later, it started to rock back and forth again. Now, they want to "cut me a break" and charge me $90/hour to come fix the problem all over again.
So, basically, I had a squeak. I called for a tune up. Now I have a completely unstable treadmill. And these guys are unable to fix the problem they caused.
If you want broken equipment, these guys do a great job of breaking your expensive investments.

They were great! The repairman called as promised a half hour before his arrival.  It was not an easy repair.  After repairing several components, the mechanism which operated the elevation element was giving him real problems.  He kept working at it and with perseverance and creativity got it to work, perfectly!  He so easily could have given up, and I would have had to buy a new treadmill, ugh! I really appreciate the extra time, ingenuity and effort he took to get my faithful old treadmill back to perfect working order. I highly recommend AK Treadmill Repair Specialists and I will definitely be using them again when needed.

Technician was nice.. Nothing was fixed. Wrong parts were ordered. Total waste of time and money. Management was less then professional. I felt taken for a ride with this company.

On our first contact to the manufacturer they sent parts to deal with the issue. It took a week to get the first appointment with AK Treadmill. They hardly ever pick up the phone but will get back to you within the next two days.   Then AK sent somebody for the repair. Their guy showed up hours late. He looked at the brandnew unit and claimed that all of these would make some noise. After I told him that that was unacceptable he banged at the machine with a clamp (because he did not have a hammer) and then tried to bend some cover tins - to no avail. He could not find the source of the noise and tried to install the parts from the manufacturer. Then he claimed those parts were not right and left and wanted to order new parts. To get a new appointment took more than a week and the same guy came next time and tried to used his skills. He had forgotten to order the bolts for the new parts - they could not be put in. He tried to disassemble a few parts and reassemble them - only to experience an additional grinding noise. He wanted to order additional parts. Well, the next four weeks we experienced the same slow procedures getting parts and an appointment. The same guy came out another two times and was not able to repair our new machine. But then he tried to blame us for the malfunctioning by reporting to the manufacturer that the unit had not been staged in the right place - exposed to heat and humidity. That was absolutely untrue - the unit was fully covered and leveled from the beginning. After many phone calls to the manufacturer they suggested to send parts directly to me and that I did the repair myself. I agreed wholeheartedly. I got the parts, exchanged them, put everything together thoroughly and since then we are finally (after more than six weeks and four visits from them) able to use our machine without problems.

All in all a horrible experience. Long waiting for an appointment. Their guy was not able to fix the problem

He did a really good job. He was clean and tidy. He did what he said he would do. He was busy. It took three different calls to get him here.

My Elliptical was squealing.They said they'd send somebody out to fix it.They did.

Everyone at AK Treadmill was very knowledgeable (Wayne in parts knew exactly what to do) and courteous. Jose came in the pouring rain but didn't leave a single trace of mess. The service was prompt and efficient and done in half an hour

I left a message Sunday night. They called back Monday morning and set up an appointment for the next Wednesday. Showed up on time. Costs were exactly as described on the phone. The technician clearly explained what he was doing, why and patiently responded to my questions. I look forward to next year when they show up again for my treadmill's annual physical.

AK Treadmill Repair Specialists were recommended to me when I purchased my treadmill two years ago. I have now used them twice for yearly maintenance. The technicians are skilled, professional, thorough, and cheerful. The company services customers in a very wide area; I am not close to their "home address." I plan to call on this company for future maintenance of my treadmill, and for any problems that may occur. I know that they also service other exercise equipment.
