He's been great! He tried to get here as soon as he could and is very personable. We are very happy with his work and his prices are reasonable, too.

After having my refrigerator "repaired" twice by someone my handyman recommended, it still continued to collect water below the crisper drawers. So I finally contacted Peter about it. He said he might be able to stop by the next day if he had time, and that he would call me. The day passed without a call from him, so I phoned him the next day and left a message to follow up. He called me back promptly and expressed his sincere apologies and offered to come out asap, and so we arranged a time. He was able to get to the root of the problem quickly and so far his fix appears to have taken care of the issue. He was neat and professional and as a courtesy, even took $10 off my bill because he forgot to call me back initially. Will definitely call on him again if the need arises.

Peter is extremely knowledable in appliance repairs. I have used him twice in the past to repair my 15 year old washer or dryer machines. I would recommend him others.

Our Kenmore washing machine suddenly stopped working last night in mid-cycle. We called Peter the next morning and left a message. He called us back within the hour and said he'd be over in "about 5 minutes". I think he actually made it in 4 minutes. He correctly diagnosed the problem in less than a minute and had it running again within another 15 minutes. This was all on a Saturday! He was incredibly nice, knowledgeable and professional. We cannot say enough good things about the experience. A+++++

The service technician scheduled an appointment for the day after my initial contact with him. He was very punctual and pleasant to work with. After examining my broken washing machine he told me the repair would be very expensive and would cost more than buying a new machine. He then spent quite a bit of time describing the differences between new washing machines and advising me on what would be the best buy for my needs. Even though the washing machine did not get repaired, it was an excellent experience with an honest and informed technician.

I called around 8 a.m. to see when I could get an appointment and left a voice mail message. Peter called me back around 9:45 a.m. and said he could be here in a half hour, which he did. He very quickly diagnosed the problem and corrected it. In addition, he looked underneath the refrigerator to see if there were any problems. He discovered a good deal of cat fur that he said would eventually impair the functioning of the compressor. He cleaned it out and told me how to best clean that area of the refrigerator.

Our 2003 Kenmore Trio 3-door fridge began to fail on a rather warm, humid Sunday evening. We contacted Eagle Rock Appliances @ 10:00 Monday morning, explained to Peter the situation (soupy ice cream, melting ice cubes and a clicking sound coming from the unit) and asked for his soonest appointment. Peter originally gave us a 12:00 - 1:00 window BUT called back @ 11:15 to say he could be there in 15 minutes. When was the last time an appliance repair person was able to move you up on his schedule? We were back in business with a new, beefed up relay switch by noon. We were so impressed with Peter that we took a stack of his cards and recommend him to everyone we know in the Glassell Park/Mt. Washington area. As a side note, Peter also sells and services vintage O'Keefe and Merritt stoves like ours so we now have a reliable local source for its repair.
