It went well.  We got several offers, including ones that were above-asking.  We ended up holding on to the house, but this was not due to any shortcomings on Mike's part.  In fact, this illustrates what is different about Mike.  He lets you cancel the listing any time for any reason.  He lets you turn down any offer for any reason.  Very few agents provide such flexibility.
But it is not only the flexibility that he provides that commends him; it is also his competence.  Mike is super smart, personable, hard-working, entrepreneurial, and extremely knowledgeable about real estate and selling strategies. 
I generally do not enjoy dealing with real estate professionals.  A lot of them seem more worried about their commissions than their fiduciary duties.  Mike was very much an exception.  I highly recommend him.

He is really good. I am very happy with him. We have so many things in common. We are the same age, we both have 2 kids and we have the same outlook on life.  We get along very well and he answers all my questions.

I originally contracted with Mike to provide property management for my rental property, but I decided to sell the house and used Mike as my selling agent.  He had a strategy that worked beautifully.  I would definitely recommend him.

Mr. Brooks was perfectly happy to pursue both strategies at once. At no point during the transaction did he ever pressure me one way or the other; he laid out the facts, gave his professional opinion and then followed through on whatever decision I came do. Without his advice and support I'm not sure if we have sold at all - and when we did, the sale went through with almost no work on our part at all which was a happy surprise. Very satisfied and would gladly use him again.

We have been extremely pleased with the service and professionalism provided by B-Squared Realty.  Mike Brooks is a pleasure to work with and is very attentive to our needs.  We initially contacted Mike in regards to a single family residence lease.  The property needed some modest renovation work prior to being placed on the market.  Mike assisted in obtaining an excellent contractor and kept on top of all aspects of the project to completion.  In addition, he was able to utilize the best marketing efforts and obtain a qualified renter soon after completion.  In fact, my wife and I were out of the country, on vacation, when we were notified by e-mail that the property had been rented.  It was so nice to have him take care of things while we were away.
Their website is great and it is nice to be able to set up direct deposit arrangements for the rental income.  I would not hesitate to recommend B-Squared for professional property management and real estate services.  Great service!  Both Mike and Ryan are a pleasure to work with.

We worked with Mike and the B2 team during the summer (2013). We successfully sold a property and purchased a property with Mike at the helm. We really appreciated the detailed information and working knowledge that Mike and the team were able to share with us to get the most out of the sale of our home a s the purchase of a new home. Mike prides himself on helping clients fall in love with not only their new home, but also the deal that they get on the home.
Mike and the team went above and beyond for us to make sure that everything that we were responsible for was handled correctly and on time. He not only gave great advice, but he asked the hard questions that needed to be answered like would we really be willing to live through a renovation? Or is it worth it to pay a certain price point to be in an area that we like. He wanted to make sure that we had all of the hard questions worked through prior to moving forward, but he was also able to stay in pace with us when we wanted to push forward quickly.
Even when he needed to leave town for an unforeseen reason, we always felt that Mike and his team were on top of our deals which is huge while two escrows are open at the same time.

The management service provides numerous ways a tenant can report a problem. Either via email, web services or telephone. This specific plumbing problem was conveyed to the management service who in-turn took prompt action to correct the problem. This problem was diagnosed as a small job that required less than $100 in repair cost. Therefore, the proper repair personnel was contacted to make the repair ASAP. For more expensive repairs, at least three estimates are required to help keep the cost of  repairs down. The repair was performed as contracted and the tenant was happy with the prompt service of the management service. We were also very satisfied with the performance of B Squared Realty.

A quick background, I
had used 2 other Property Mangers in an attempt to rent out our home. 3
months later and not 1 application submitted, I ended the relationships
and found Mike at B Squared. I met him on a Friday afternoon at our
home. We discussed the expectations from both of us, costs, plans, etc. I
gave him the go ahead to represent us. This is not a lie, the following
Friday, just 7 days later, Mike had an application in my hand of a very
qualified couple that ended up being perfect tenants for us.
Once
the contract was signed, Mike really didn't need to speak with me
anymore as he has staff to take care of all the day to day jobs. With
that said, Mike did maintain contact. Always checking up to make sure
things were good. This is a sign of good character. I invest a lot into
my business relationships and have high standards in return. Without a
doubt I can recommend B Squared to anyone, being family or friend or
stranger.

,As it turns out, the new tenant has not been the easiest person in the world to deal with,  (you just sometimes never know) but Brooks deals with him like a master.  He knows the law, his lease agreement covers just about every possible contingency to protect me and my property, he's professional and personable but doesn't take guff.   A lot of managers, I've noticed, try to serve two masters.  Sometimes I get the feeling they find themselves in uncomfortable situations and they let tenants get by with certain things (such as not paying the last months rent and expecting us to use their security deposit) because they don't want the hassle of upholding the lease contract, even if it's not in the owner's interest.   Let me just say this:  B Square Realty is an owner's company.  Brooks is not afraid of conflict, though I think he averts it with great finesse.   He is fair, legal and ethical with the tenants but I have never spent a moment wondering if he was really doing what was best for me, or for the tenant.   And I can't say that about any other property manager I ever had.   I feel safe with him handling everything and at the same time he is completely willing to turn over the rains any time I want to handle something myself.    He's REALLY good at what he does.  I would recommend him to anyone, from my mother on up.

Have just started working with them, but so far it's been a fantastic experience. Professional, punctual, friendly and knowledgeable. I've been very impressed so far, just signed the contract (doesn't lock us in, we can back out at any time, so they have to continue to earn our business month after month, which is great. And which is their policy. I didn't have to ask for it to not lock us in.).  Price is also extremely reasonable, especially for the service we are getting.

If the rest of the experience is the same as the first two weeks, they''ll be out management company for a long time to come. 

Was using another Prop. Mgmt. company for last 3 months with not one application turned in. Frustrated, I resorted to Angie's List and found B Squared Reality. This will quickly sum up how I feel about them. Signed contract with B Squared to manage my property. Exactly 7 days later, B Squared handed me a signed lease form!!! In only 7 days they had a fully qualified renter sign a 1 year lease for our property!!! Mike is great, very personable and easy to talk to. Jason, their leasing specialist, seriously pulled the rabbit out of the hat. Can't say enough on how much they just helped us out and in such a short time. Obviously you can't expect finding a renter in 7 days, but what a pleasant surprise!

Mike Brooks has managed the property professionally and he does a great job. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs property management.

They are good; I find them to be thorough and reliable. If I decide to rent our place, we will probably go with them. Their cost seemed a little high. I think that they are very knowledgeable about the area.

I spend most of my time in Northern Ca and hired BSquared when I couldn't keep up with the property anymore in regard to tenants and maintenance. This past summer, we found ourselves in the stressful situation of needing to move to London on very short-notice to look after my ill father.
