If you just want to get a report and no explanation or implications of the report, then I suggest you call Same Day mold testing because that's all you're going to get--a one page report. NO explanation or follow up about the findings of the report. However, if you want someone who is VERY knowledgeable in the area of molds and takes the time to explain to you about the process, then you want to call Chuck from One Source. I wished I had called him the first time around, that way I would have had my mold issue resolved. He is not only knowledgeable but seems very concerned for my well being. I called him in the morning and he made his way over to my house later in the evening, going completely out of his way just to give me an inspection. At the house, he took the time to explain the issue and was very patient with all my questions. He not only explained everything in great detail but he wanted me to walk away understanding the entire process ie. mold remediation, testing, and insurance claims. Don't let the purportedly HIGH reviews from the other mold testing facilities fool you, especially one day mold testing. All they want is your money. They don't care if you pass the mold test or not. Chuck wants you to pass the mold test and will do what it takes. He's unlike anyone I've encountered in this kind of profession. I can't say enough about him. Please give him a call, you'll be glad you did. Your peace of mind will thank you.

The service was good. One guy came out, he was very professional and it took him about fifteen minutes to take the samples. They called me back the next day with the results and followed up with a written report.

Chuck was very professional and spent a great deal of time explaining the results to me in a way that I could easily comprehend. From the beginning of my interactions with Chuck, it was clear that he was committed to thoroughly resolving my issue as fast and cost effective as possible. During the whole process, he was always transparent and provided realistic suggestions. I would definitely recommend Chuck to anyone that is dealing with a water/mold issue.

I have worked with Chuck and team on a couple of occasions. The latest call was to check the content of building materials that were disturbed during some home updates. They came out, took samples, and provided results the next day. They have always been great and work to get services completed as quickly as possible, which is really important when you don't know what you are dealing with. They respond to issues faster than most companies return your initial call. I'd recommend them to anyone looking to get their home tested. And should the need arise again, I would certainly call on them.

I think he was great. It was a good experience. He provided me with what we wanted and explained everything. He showed up in a period of time.

The deal was beyond disappointing. The representative spent a great deal of time explaining the 'deal' was deceptive in that you had to read the 'small print' to realize that this inspection didn't include any testing. Test would be necessary of assess the hazzard level and each room would require multiple tests costing from $75 to $125 each. We focused on one wall in one room and he took a tape sample of the mold on the wall. I paid the additional $75 for the test and did receive a 'report' with some information information about the mold.

Chuck at One Source Group was very responsive. He was able to send someone to take samples of the ceiling on the day after I first called him. The person checked the condition of the ceilings throughout the house and looked to see that they all appeared to have had the acoustic coating blown on at the same time. He took 3 samples from 3 different places for submission to the testing lab. Chuck told me that they usually get results within 48 hours, and he did have the results for me by then. He called and told me that asbestos had been confirmed, then sent me the testing report for my records. The only reason I rated One Source as a B rather than an A in professionalism is that the representative who came to take the samples reeked of stale cigarette smoke. He was a nice guy, but I was glad it was a warm day so I could leave the doors and windows open to minimize the smoke smell that he carried in. I was very satisfied with the quality and promptness of the service.

We contacted Chuck on 10/17/2013 for an estimate and he was over to the house in escrow on 10/19/13 to look over the home's water damage and take samples for possible mold. He arrived 30mins late, but we were not in a rush. We were thankful that he could come out at all on such short notice. The negotiations to the house fell through on 10/20/13 and Chuck was able stop the mold analysis request before they got sent out, refunding us $135. What we appreciated most about Chuck was his integrity and helpfulness during a particularly stressful time as, thank you, Chuck! If we needed another mold inspection, we would definitely work with Chuck again.

I recently needed the services of a company that could provide me with answers as to what the stains and discoloration on my garage floor were; to identify whether they were leached salts, mold, or something else. I had just joined Angie's List, and decided to look up a firm who dealt in that area to see if they could help me. I chose the One Source Group, and am very glad that I did. The gentleman who answered the phone, Chuck, listened carefully to my problem, and was very helpful in explaining possible options open to me to see what the stains were, an opinion as to what he felt might be possible sources of the stains, and the price. He also offered a senior discount, which was very helpful. This business is clear that they do not do repair work, but sample collection, quantification, identification, and reporting, and this is exactly what I wanted. We set up that same day an appointment for the following morning. An associate, Renee, came to the house right on time at 8:00 A.M., and was very professional and friendly as he collected the necessary air and material samples, which he then hand-delivered to a testing laboratory. Chuck called again in follow-up the next day with the results (with a written report to follow) and explained them. Knowing now what I am dealing with, I can go ahead and fix the problem that is causing the stains. Chuck also said to call him any time if I needed further assistance, or if I had any other questions. Both Chuck and Renee were very knowledgeable, and spent time explaining things to me; they made the experience go extremely smooth and fast. I would certainly highly recommend them to others who need this type of work done.

The owner returned my call right away and was very patient and complete in answering all of my questions. I never got the feeling that he was anxious to get off the phone or that he was losing patience with my litany of questions. He walked me through all codes and, more than that, was very helpful in guiding me to what was and wasn't critical to take care of and the simplest but safe solutions to the very few areas that needed to be addressed. He was also reassuring as to what the real dangers were and weren't. I was able to clarify all of that with the very nervous tenant, and reassure him that he hadn't been dangerously exposed to toxic substances for the years he had been living in the unit.

One source representative visited my house on 20th Jul for visual inspection. One source representative collected samples and took pictures from my duct without my knowledge and written permission and they sent me an invoice of $410 for testing service and authorization letter to collect the sample after collecting samples without my written permission. When i refuse to pay the invoice so Mr. Chuck threatened me to put lean on my property and file a fake complaint with city, so i paid the invoice in full. I believe that One Source Group violated my privacy and collected samples without written permission, so they should refund my payment and destroy the samples and they should stop unfair business practices.

Even before they came to test, Chuck spent quite a while on the phone with me personally just answering questions and giving me an idea of the process. He was very honest about what to expect and the pricing. They were very quick in responding to my call. They were able to schedule a visit the very next day, on the weekend. The visit went exactly as described by very professional servicemen. Not only were they well informed, but also recommended that I call the homeowners insurance as a claim. They were very quick about the results and Chuck even called me personally with the results and some recommendations. He even was very conscientious to save us some money by cancelling some testing at the lab that wasn't needed because of the positive result. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I am frustrated that there was no written final review of the total number of samples or total costs before proceeding and as a result I ended up paying several times more then I expected.

They did not find anything to report. We did receive the peace of mind we were seeking.

I spoke with Chuck on the phone who gave me quotes for lead, asbestos, mold testing. I thought he would be performing the testing, instead two guys from AAA arrived. That was fine that someone else performed the testing. I just didn't know until we got to our escrow property. I think it should have been mentioned in the phone call. Also I wish I would have known earlier on that the results are not released until you pay. I was waiting to get the results first and then pay but then I found out that you pay first then get the results. The way it worked out, I didn't get the results until a day 1/2 later. Just know to pay first in order to get your results. Overall we were satisfied with the inspection. Chuck was accommodating when I had to cancel then re-schedule the appointment.

We just bought a new home, our first one. Especially since we have a parrot and they are so sensitive, we wanted to make sure that none of the "big 4" hazards (mold, lead, radon, asbestos) were present, since it is an older home. Chuck was very helpful and explained things well. We enjoyed the inspection as we learned a lot and it was clear how much he enjoys his work. The reports were detailed and put our minds at ease.

I had mold remediation performed in a closet in my home in April 2012. After the mold was removed by a licensed remediation company, I called upon One Source Group. LLC., an independent firm from the mold removal company to perform air quality testing of the space that was remediated. Mr Chuck Moore of One Source Group came to my home to do the testing. I had plenty of questions that I wanted to ask Mr. Moore about mold remediation in general and about the final air quality testing process. He was very patient with me and went above and beyond to offer in depth answers to all of my questions. He treated me like I was his only customer and was very respectful. He was prompt and efficient in all aspects of the job performed. Mr. Moore is a consummate professional whom I would hire again in a heartbeat and would recommend his company to anyone needing such services. Thank you again Mr. Moore!

Tom was great. He tested the areas of visible mold and a couple of areas he suspected mold, but was careful to only do a few necessary areas in order to save us some expense. He explained ways we could fix a drainage issue and a leaky window in order to prevent further mold. He also recommended someone to fix the mold problem that was there. This person came in with a low estimate and was also professional. After reading about mold online, we almost backed out of the house purchase. We called Tom, who talked everything through with us again. He explained the likely severity of the problem and our many options should there be any surprises down the road. He reassured us the fear of mold on message boards can get out of hand and that our issue was fixable. We are so glad he talked us off the cliff. One Source also tested for asbestos. The test results indicated there wasn't any found in the popcorn ceilings, which was a relief. Soon after they left, we realized vinyl flooring had been glued to the original hardwoods below carpeting. Aware asbestos was sometimes used in such floors, we called Tom yet again. He offered to test a piece of the floor for the cost of the lab without charging to have the asbestos inspector return. Tom was very helpful, professional, and patient. We will be using him for any other future surprises during renovation.

He was very prompt, honest, and up front. He did the testing for the lead. He was fine. He had the results to me on the day he said he would. I was pleased with his services.

Chuck kept me informed every step of the way, from sample collection, what to keep an eye out for, test results, all the way through final evaluation reports. Even when I failed to point out an area of concern during the initial service, Chuck gladly reviewed photos, provided advice, and reviewed the area upon a follow-up visit. He went above and beyond, performing a second radon test because the first had provided an abnormally low result. He was very helpful, very thorough, very trustworthy. I would certainly recommend him for environmental testing needs.

Overall, based on the "Please Describe in Detail" section, above, I would say that One Source made a minimum effort for maximum dollars.
