Mark's Drywall Service

Newly applied paint on my home office was separating from the ceiling texture - cause unknown. Mark came to our home to look at the ceiling, emailed me an estimate of the cost AND also outlined all steps he would take to repair the problem. I liked that he outlined what he would do to repair the ceiling and make it look good. He came every day exactly at the time he said he would, he protected our flooring while he was working on site, he cleaned up after each day's work, his work each day was meticulous -- no mess. On Friday morning he did the touch-up painting of the walls around the ceiling perimeter. By late afternoon, I had moved back into my office, with the ceiling looking perfect, the white ceiling edges perfectly painted and blue walls perfectly edged. I asked him if he does exterior painting. He said he does. We will hire him for our exterior house painting in early Summer. I am extremely pleased with the work he did. He is very professional and very personable -- easy to work with and extremely competent.

After getting several estimates we decided to have Mark's drywall do the work. The first day he was able to remove the wallpaper from our two rooms, a bedroom ceiling and bath. The next day he prepared the walls for the texture and the third he came back to do the texturizing. He answered all our questions and gave us painting tips. As I said above, he cleaned up the rooms each day and was very considerate when going in and out about our floors and carpet. We also plan to use him for some painting in the future.

Mark responded quickly to my original request for services. He arrived to give me an estimate on time and sent me the estimate when he said he would. Mark did a great job. The ceiling and walls look amazing. Every day, he arrived on time and cleaned up nicely after himself. He made sure he protected other surfaces by protecting them with plastic or paper. While Mark was working on the garage, I then also had him give me as estimate on patching some water damaged drywall in the house. The price was reasonable and he did a amazing job there as well. I would definitely use Mark again in the future. He was a joy to work with, very professional, did excellent work and was on time every day.

Mark was amazing, returning my call promtly and always kept in touch. Was an absolutely pleasure to deal with, went way beyond what he promised, added all those little touches, staining the rack for hanging clothes on, replacing all plug covers and heat covers, really going the extra mile. He also kept to his time promise, I needed the job done urgently and he completed it all in time.

Everything went perfectly. From removing extremely tenacious wallpaper, to patching drywall, to finish painting--Mark did an awesome job. Plus he is a super-nice person! I highly recommend him!!

It went great, as we've come to expect from him. He is able to accurately predict how long it will take to finish the job. (3 days) He was careful not to drip any primer or paint on our new wood floors, or on any of our counters or furniture and cleaned up every day before he left. He was personable and got along well with me, my wife, and our 6 year old son. (Even our cat liked him!) His pricing is reasonable and up front. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat. I think "Mark's Drywall Service" could just as easily be "Mark's Painting Service".

Mark's work was fantastic. He was always onetime. The quality of the job was an A+, and his price was reasonable. If you have drywall need Mark's a great pick. We'll use him for all future wall and ceiling repairs.

The overall exerience was exceptional. Mark adjusted his work to accomodate my eradic work schedule. (Not an easy task) He was prompt, professional, and efficient. Furniture moved, plastic went up, ceiling came down, mess cleaned up and furniture was put back in its rightful place. Mark was even able to finish ahead of schedule. I highly recommend him.

Mark arrived on time daily and provided a good quality of service and workmanship. The ceiling was well smoothed and painted after acoustic ceiling removal. The stucco was repaired and repainted well. However there were cost additions that were not communicated during the process. This resulted in a 25% final cost rise above the original estimate. These cost should have been accurately communicated to prevent surprises on the final bill. Overall he is professional and good with his work. However communication on cost needs to be improved.

Everything went Great, I don't see how anything could have worked out better. Mark is the best person I've ever had work on my home, I wish he did more then just drywall, I'd use him for everything. Its a shame more people do not work as hard as he does with the same care and dedication. He is a artist with dry wall and texturing! If you don't use him your making a mistake!

It went very well. It was quality workmanship and he was very reliable. He does really good work and seems very honest.

Mark did an excellent job and it is impossible to tell where the repairs were done. He is a pleasant and courteous person. I would not hesitate to recommend him. Hopefully, I won't need anymore repairs but if I ever should, I would call Mark first. He knows drywall, has years of experience, is methodical and doesn't rush things. He gets them right the first time!

He is a consummate pro at drywall repair. He also painted afterwards, and did a fabulous job (including primer). I highly recommend this individual to others.

He was on time. He did an excellent job. The cost was about $700. We found a little spot that I wanted him to come back and complete. Even after I had paid him completely for the job, he came back and touched it up for no extra charge and without any complaint. It needed a little more texture. So he came back on an appointed time and finished it up. I thought that his price was very fair because he had a lot of work to do. His punctuality and professionalism were great. He was excellent. I was so glad that I hired him. It was for my mom’s home and she was going to assisted living. She was so proud because it was just beautiful when she came back. He did an excellent job. The house wasn’t properly done in the first place. The drywall hadn’t been properly attached in the first place. It took him quite a bit of time to fix it and he did a really outstanding job. It was very nice. I also thought it was a very fair price because the quality of his work was so high. His quality and workmanship were both outstanding. His responsiveness was very good. He was on time and responded quickly. I would definitely use Mark’s Drywall Service in the future too.

Outstanding experience with Mark's Drywall. Remodeled a master bath and used several contractors. Mark was the only contractor we used that; was on time, communicated perfectly throughout the service and had completed the job on time with no surprises. Mark was very responsive and came out to give me a quote within a day of my initial call. He emailed a very professional, detailed quote within two days after his visit. I didn't get other quotes as his came in right at what I had expected. He arrived on the agreed upon morning promptly and got right to work. He prepped and cleaned up every day and I hardly knew he was there. He finished in the time frame he had estimated and charged me exactly what he quoted. His work is amazing. The damaged wall looks brand new and nobody would be able to tell where it was repaired and I haven't even painted yet! I found no flaws in any of his work, and in fact it came out better than I could have imagined! I would recommend him in a heart beat!

After Mark and I EMailed, he called promptly, when he said he would, to discuss the job. We discussed what I needed and he said it would be about $200. I agreed and he said he could be at my house the next day between 8-8:30. He arrived shortly before 8:00. He took a look at the work I needed and we agreed he would do it for $175. Mark's work was excellent. He kept the work area clean. The hole was securely braced and finished so the patch was invisible. I would definitely recommend Mark for drywall work to anyone.

Mark repaired drywall damaged by a water leak. He did a perfect job and we would not hesitate to refer him to anyone.

Mark did a fabulous job. He called quickly to give me an estimate. He came when he said he would. His price was excellant. We had a tight schedule and he adjusted his work to fit us in over a holiday weekend. He even came early one day so he could complete his work before my other contractors arrived. I could not be happier. Patching is a long process to do it right...and he did it right. Even before the ceilings were painted it was impossible to tell where the old texture was and Marks new patches had been made. Now that the ceiling is painted you would never know we had any work done. He was always professional and very nice to work with. He was clean and took great care in our home to protect everything. I would highly recommend Mark again!

Mark was amazing....I received 3 estimates and his was the most cost-effective. He is a professional when it comes to drywall, so I felt comfortable going with him. I emailed him a photo of the wall in need of repair, and he responded back with an estimate a day later. He then showed up at my house on Monday (one day after he gave me the estimate). He finished the job in a timley fashion and was VERY professional and nice. I was super-impressed with the work he did. You cannot even tell there was a hole there. I would hire Mark again for his professionalism, friendly demeanor, and skill. I highly recommend Mark to anyone on Angie's List who needs drywall repair and/or painting.

It took about three days and Mark did a great job. He was very courteous and really did a good job of keeping the dust to a minimum as we asked him to. The texture matched the existing texture in the rest of the house. I would highly recommend him and use him again for future drywall needs.

We couldn't be more pleased with his work. At the end of the day he vacuumed and he is very neat in his work. Even his truck is clean and neat. It took about 2 1/2 weeks. He was punctual every day and most pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend him to all my friends.
