Review had been updated - situation has finally sorted out a week later. Just the facts here to be mindful of to mitigate the risk of having to deal with a similar issue. We purchased a house and Vic was the seller's agent. Agent said he would have staging removed prior to close - did not happen. Agent said the house would be cleared of Seller's items prior to close - did not happen. Both of which were legally bound to be performed per the signed California Purchase Agreement: paragraph 11iii of the RPA, "all debris and personal property not included in the sale shall be removed by Close of Escrow." After the initial insistence for us to deal with removal, Agent eventually agreed to force client to perform contract. Much easier said than done, but we are glad to all move on.
