He was easy to reach. We made the appointment for the same day. He was for all purposes on time. The whole procedure was about 40 minutes. He explained what he felt the issue was and what the cost for the service would be before he started. He had the parts readily available on his truck and completed the job in no time. Have not had any issue since. Very satisfied with everything.

It was a challenging installation because of a reverse osmosis water filter system tapping into the supply line as well as being a tight squeeze to get the new hardware situated. It was a really clean and well thought out installation. The price was as good as some of the prepaid "specials" I saw on Angie's List for the same install when you consider it included some additional hardware to accommodate the water filter system and the removal of the old faucet. I'm definitely going to use their services again for any future plumbing needs I have in my home.

Water heater located in garage was leaking a bucket a day. Denis was able to schedule replacement the next day. He arrived early, installed a new 40 gallon gas hot water heater, and cleaned up afterward. I got 3 quotes and his price was the same as others but he was able to get the job done on my time schedule. Company has lots of good reviews on Yelp but only had 4 reviews total on Angie's List so I am happy to provide another review. Glad I went with this company and will use them in the future. Faced with an almost 30 year old water heater that started to leak the day before Thanksgiving we looked for a professional that could install a new one fast. I searched and found Denis to be response and helpful. He came over the same day to give me a quote on doing either a new tank or tankless water heater. Based on his reasonable quote we decided to go with a new tankless system. I scheduled the work for the day after Thanksgiving. He showed up as agreed, and completed the job same day. He was able to answer all my questions about the new system and demonstrated how it worked. He also helped register my purchase with the manufacturer for warranty coverage and rebate purposes. I plan to call him for any future needs and highly recommend him.

I have used Competent Plumbing dba USA Water Heaters on several occasions in the course of the last few years and have always been happy with the results. I first come across them when I needed my water heater replaced. It was not leaking but it was making a lot of popping noises when it was reheating. Dennis was willing to come by to give us an estimate at no charge for the service. Prior to his arrival I have called few other plumbing places to inquire about what it will cost to replace 50 gal water heater. Upon his arrival Dennis took a look and explained everything that needs to be done and what it would cost. His price was very competitive according the the phone quotes we have had and we decided to hire him for the job. Alongside the new water heater he also installed new water lines, gas line, drip leg and drip pan. The next time I need a plumbing service was when my toilets started acting up. They would either keep running or will get plugged up easily. I have made some research and decided to upgrade my toilets with Kohler from The Home Depot. Dennis was courteous enough to deliver the toilets we had purchased from the Home Depot, install them and haul away the old ones. We also purchased a second property where we had Dennis replace our water heater, all angle stops, install new toilets and garbage disposal. He has always been great to us and I can highly recommend him to anyone. Martin C.

Contacted Competent Plumbing (Dennis) regarding an issue with a broken water heater at our small business. I originally contacted Dennis on a Friday night about setting-up an appointment for the following morning (which we did arrange). However, he later called me back, indicating that he was going to be driving by the business location anyway, and asked if I would prefer that he stop by and take a look - just in case it was something that could be fixed-quickly, or if not to get a jump-start on expediting whatever might be needed for Saturday. I thought that was a good idea, but could not be on-site myself. I made arrangement's with staff to allow him access. Dennis kept me apprised by phone at various points. In the end, only a minor repair was needed (i.e. not replace the entire water heater), which I was very glad to hear. Dennis was professional, did great work and did not try to up-sell me on anything unneeded. Definitely recommended!
