I went to Bosch's official website, [*** Link removed ***] because our 3 year old dishwasher had stopped heating the water properly. I was able to book a service appointment online with their *PREFERRED* Bosch Factory Service- Seattle provider for about a week later. Jonathan called to let us know that his current appointment was taking longer than expected, but we should not worry because he was going to be coming to our place as soon as possible. He still managed to arrive within the stated service call appointment time window and went right to work. He efficiently identified the problem and was able to fix the problem immediately because he had the parts on the truck. He quickly replaced the controller board which was still under warranty as well the ~$100 broken heat pump which wasn't under warranty. Johnathan was most professional and courteous. He did a good job of communicating to us information about the problem and the work required to fix it. He also tested the dishwasher after he completed the repair, suggested some changes in how we operated the dishwasher and made sure that we were satisfied with state of the machine before he presented the bill.

Technician showed up late, but was able to diagnose and replace faulty oven control panel. When technician said work was completed, we paid with a credit card, but technician said that his credit card machine wasn't working and had to call it in. We thought everything was handled - and that's when the problems started. First, while we noticed the oven clock was indeed working, but when we went to actually turn the oven on (think: heat), there was nothing. No bake, no broil, no anything - other than the clock. Called technician back. He said he must've forgotten to connect a wire. Had to reschedule another appointment, which was very inconvenient. When he arrived a few days later, he admitted he had mis-wired the oven, and proceeded to fix the problem. Finally, we had heat. The next day, the office began calling us every five minutes, claiming we hadn't paid them. We were able to call them back and explain what had happened with the technician and how he had called it in, but they apparently had misplaced our credit card info. Great. We gave them the info (again) and they said we were now paid. The next day, we noticed that the oven control panel was wiggling around quite a bit. Seems our clumsy technician had forgotten to do something else, so we had to call him again to schedule a third visit to repair our oven. More inconvenience, and when he arrived he admitted he had forgotten to screw in the left side of the panel. We emailed Bosch to complain about the service, and the only response we got from them was a form letter listing their other subcontracted repair service affiliates. No apology, no discount, no nothing. I contacted them a second time, imploring them to reconsider their response to us, but we never heard back from them. If you have a Bosch, Thermador, or Gaggenau appliance, please do NOT use this company, but instead use a factory-authorized repair service that is independently owned, as BSH Home Appliances Group does not employ competent employees. Their repair division seems to be run by uncaring, incompetent, and uneducated people that do not care one bit about their jobs or about you. You have been warned.
