Shaun is intelligent, thoughtful and patient. He is also great with little kids. Shuan listened to all of our wishes and provided multiple plans that addressed everything. His plan was perfect. I also appreciate how contemporary is vision is.

Shaun was wonderful to work with and we were extremely pleased with his design for remodeling and adding on to our old house. Pleasant, patient, thorough and professional. Explained everything very carefully. Worked closely with us to understand and incorporate our needs. All aspects of job, structural engineering, city approvals went very quickly He was always responsive. We have referred him to two friends since.

I contacted Shaun for a home addition in Huntington Beach. Shaun is a pleasure to work with and takes great pride in his work. His professionalism was evident from the moment that we spoke on the phone, he took the time to listen to all of my questions and concerns and then provided excellent customer services to answer them all! He also helped to accommodate me in scheduling our meeting! Shaun is always punctual and ready to explain his plans which are easy to review and follow. He provides large floor plans and exterior views of the property and always ensure that his plans are right ahead of time . Shaun was very easy to work with. he was always on time for our meetings, and he provided creative solutions to some of the challenges associated with the project.

It far exceeded our expectations. We were very clear in what we wanted to achieve with the design and Shaun nailed it on the first draft. He listened very carefully to our wishes, asked insightful questions, and provided an awesome product. His attention to our relatively modest job was phenomenal. Phone calls, emails, returned promptly. Shaun checked in numerous times during the process, meet us at the house several times to make sure we were satisfied with his execution of the concept, but it was in plan submission at the city that he really shined. We have had numerous neighbors/friends share their anguish in dealing with the planning staff at the city. Shaun was able to develop a rapport before he submitted, and the plans were approved the first time with no corrections! At least in our circle of acquaintances, that hasn't happened. To sum it up, Shaun Moore is an exemplary designer whose customer service and attention to detail left us completely satisfied.

He was a great listener. He understood our concerns and he explained his background and experience. We have a high degree of confidence on his ability. It was a cost sensitive and a smart design. He has done a number of projects in the city.

Shaun was always punctual, courteous and made an instant connection with our family, kids included! We felt he worked hard for us at the city offices during the plan check process. The structural engineer he referred to us was wonderful as well. We had no corrections from the city! Shaun was extremely knowledgeable with all the city codes and always came prepared when meeting with us. Our 1950 home will soon be turned into a highly functioning, modern home with just over 2000 sqft! He used all space efficiently and gave us a design to be proud of. We would wholeheartedly recommend Shaun. He was a pleasure to work with!

Shaun was great throughout the whole process from initial call to final approvals from the city. After having a bad experience with a previous designer that basically took our money and ran, we were hesitant on working with another designer that we can trust. We are glad we called Shaun. Not only was he able to meet us the next day, he was punctual, knowledgeable and made us understand the process from A to Z. Communication was amazing and was easy to reach. He listened to what we wanted to achieve with our project and provided us with 3 different designs for our 2000 square foot house. We ended up choosing some elements of each. He worked nights and weekends to get it done. His engineer and T24 guys are great as well. After initial plan submission, we needed minor corrections that were dealt with overnight and we got the plans approved the next day. Overall, we couldn't be happier with Shaun's services and I am already planning another project where we are hiring Shaun.

After purchasing a home that was built in 1975 and had few updates since, we wanted to renovate 75% of the house before we moved in. We interviewed Shaun by phone first and were impressed with his demeanor and level of expertise. We scheduled with Shaun to meet us at the property. Shaun arrived promptly for the appointment. My wife and I showed him the ideas we had. He was very attentive and patient with us. He spent a considerable part of his day looking at the property and giving us his initial thoughts about what we had in mind and answering a lot of questions that were on our minds. Thankfully for us, we decided to retain Shaun Moore's services within a few days after our first meeting. We scheduled a 2nd meeting at the property where Shaun spent several hours taking measurements of the entire house.He got into attic spaces, rafters, etc., took a lot of photos and really got the project moving. Within a week, Shaun had completed the initial drawings of the renovation design. The projects includes opening up the downstairs to an open concept design, adding a downstairs bathroom and totally gutting the upstairs and redoing the upstairs with a larger master bath, more closet space, adding an office, etc. We met Shaun to see his initial plans which was very exciting for us. He actually presented us with 3 variations of his plans which were all over and above what we thought was possible. All along the way we enjoyed spending time with Shaun. He is kind, warm, pleasant, patient, and most importantly, an expert at what he does. My wife and I loved his ideas and selected certain portions of each of the 3 plans and Shaun literally went back to the drawing board and combined our favorite parts of his design. Within a couple of days Shaun had the final plans ready for our review. We knew that our project would need to have a structural engineer involved. We asked Shaun if he would recommend anyone which he was happy to provide someone that he had successfully worked with on many previous projects. We went ahead with the engineer that Shaun recommended and was equally pleased with the engineer's role in the project. Shaun was in regular correspondence with the engineer and in a short amount of time the plans were ready to submit to the city. Shaun personally went to the city on at least two occasions that I am aware of and to our surprise the plans were approved very quickly. Once the plans were submitted to the city, we began receiving quotes from general contractors based on Shaun's design plans. Shaun welcomed calls from the contractors that were bidding and was accessible to answer their questions on the design so that they could provide an accurate quote for the work. After we selected our contractor and Shaun was paid for his services, Shaun continued to be involved in the project. The contractor regularly consulted Shaun during the various phases of work. Additionally, Shaun regularly called and emailed us during the construction asking how things were going and reminding us that if we need any help or had any questions we can feel free to contact him. My wife and I were very impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail performed by Shaun. He is certainly someone that we will seek to have in our corner for any future projects. Shaun is a Great Designer and is also a really good guy.

Shaun came over because I asked him if he could help make the final corrections and get our permit to complete the deck.. We were under the impression that we needed to fix the drawings to go forward and obtain the engineering for the pergola. Shaun advised us that the cheapest way was to make the corrections on the drawings like a field change. And the engineer can do his part separately. Shaun came over on a Saturday afternoon and walked away without asking for any monies for his time. He could have charged us and made the corrections but was honest and gave us free advice. Honesty is a big indicator to me that I can trust that the work will be done correctly. I will definitely use him in the future and would recommend him.

I called Shaun after finding him on Angie's list for an addition to my garage. He was professional, courteous, prompt and a pleasure to work with. I had him prepare preliminary design drawings and when I was ready for construction he worked with me and the structural engineer to provide a quick turn around on the final blue prints. In the end I decided to not do the garage addition however in case I change my mind I will certainly use him again. I also asked Shaun to prepare preliminary drawings for a future home addition I plan on doing. He came up with three fantastic designs. I highly recommend his services.

We met Shaun in September 2011 and utilized his services through October 2012. We have used many different architects and designers over the years and Shaun stands out in several ways: 1. He made himself available, sometimes without much notice and was ALWAYS prompt. 2. His turnaround time for prints was faster than anyone else we have ever used. 3. He exercised MUCH patience as we designed and redesigned and re-redesigned some more over the year. 4. He was exceptinally available through different lines of communication to fine-tune & increase his understanding of what our vision was, so that he could draw what we had in mind. 5. He was the least expensive of anyone we have ever utilized. He is a good designer, as well, although we (thought we) knew what we wanted, so didn't give him much creative license, so I cannot speak much to that aspect.

Shaun offered to do a drawing of a variety of different looks we could do with our house. His pricing was very reasonable and he was able to get things done on really short notice. He had good vision for what to do with the house and how to make everything work harmoniously. He also offered a number of good contacts for engineering and assistance with permitting.

Shaun was really great to work with. The initial visit we discussed what I wanted to accomplish. Then, Shaun measured the entire house and created the necessary blueprints showing the current lay out, and then gave me a couple of different designs that met my requirements. I gave him a couple of my own designs and he created them, but also gave me his own take on those designs--which always ended up being even better. The final plan was, in my opinion, the best layout possible with minimal work and cost. Shaun was very patient as my needs became further defined and I requested changes. He finished the first set of plans in a matter of days, and I would say that we had a final layout within 10 days. Once we finalize the layout, Shaun put in all the electrical & plumbing requirements, making sure everything met state & local codes. He then went down to City Hall and had the city approve the blueprints and put them on file. Once I had these plans, it was easy to have contractors bid on the work, and they were quite happy to hear that the plans were already approved by the city.

Shaun was awesome to work with. He's a great listener and also provided his own ideas. He also hooked us up with a structrual engineer that was very reasonably priced and a T24 guy. Shaun's price was super too! He gave me 8 references and I called 5 of them. Each raved about him.
