Ricardo promptly provided an estimate after inspecting the ceiling damage caused by a roof leak. He was by far the most reasonable. And is going to paint the whole ceiling too. Very nice gentleman and easy to talk to. I highly recommend him.

My bathroom drywall was replaced and painted well, I was not happy with the mess that was left behind.

Ricardo was professional and his prices were very reasonable. He finished the job exactly when he said he would. The quality of the work was fine. The job was top open the drywall and clean out a rotting beehive. So it was a bit of a "discovery" job. Ricardo agreed to work T&M. He and his helper got right at it, opened the drywall, cleaned out the mess (1000s of dead bees!), patched the drywall, painted to match. This was a rental property. The resident was well pleased with the work. I will definitely use Bastida Construction again.

I thought the worker's quality was quite high. They were late 1/2 hr. Two workers prepped well to prevent leaving a mess. However, I thought that they stretched the work out in time to make it a 1/2 day task when it should have been about 2-2.5 hrs. Part of problem was they needed to let the work dry before adding the texturing, so they took an hour lunch while it dried, which was well planned. However, when they finished, I asked for the charges and he asked for 4 hours of labor and $35 in materials. I challenged him that the work was 3.25 hrs and he then agreed. This came to a total of $230. I had turned away a vendor for $150 charge for the size of the task (2.5 x 3 ft hole). I clearly regretted not taking the first vendor, who I have used before. I also had people quote $500 for this job, which shows how bad these estimates can be.
