Description of Work: I had a loose faucet on the kitchen sink. It was really loose and I could not figure out how to tighten it, though I tried with help of a friend. Called The Plumbing Therapist and he came and fixed it in about 1 minute. He said "No charge". Call on me again when you have another plumbing problem". It was fixed with no more problem. I have used the company before, to change out a bathtub drain with closure system, a new pipe under the tub, and two different times, to clear out a bathroom drain, when squirrels had dropped pecan nuts into the air pipe on the roof, that stuck in the drain. Those times were long ago, and the work was good quality and he was very professional. An added plus, he is available for evening and weekend appointments at no extra charge. I plan to call him again to change out the shower head for a new fancy one.

Description of Work: We bought a state of the art hot water heater but it did not work properly. Called PGE to check on gas smell coming from the water heater. PGE determined that the gas pressure was not high enough for this water heater causing it to operate incorrectly and that the gas line probably had some blockage. Called Plumbing Therapist and he came up with the same conclusion as PGE. He cam back a few days later with the supplies needed to fix the problem. He put in a new gas line to the water heater and all the problems went away.

Description of Work: Re-set toilet after one of hold down bolts broke. Although this ma seem simple the toilet connection to the floor has always been a problem because the drain in the cement floor was done incorrectly. The plumbing therapist fix it and I have had no problems since. Very good job.

+ -1 moreMike was a little late, but he called to let me know he was running late; Bonnie who took my initial call, did not call me back on a timely basis. However, my overall experience is very positive. I am thankful for them because they saved me from paying 100's of dollars for work that did not need to be done.
Description of Work: I called for an estimate to repair/determine a leak in my bathroom. I had 4 other estimates that told me I had to replace overflow/waste pipes. Well, Mike from ''The Plumbing Therapist'' told me the problem was my tile needed to be re-caulked and the shower was leaking from the tile area. Other estimates were from $600+ to $1100 to replace pipes that didn't need replacement!! I was so impressed with this company's honesty and integrity. I highly recommend them, although they didn't do the work needed because it requires a handyman to caulk the tiles, not a plumber. I will forever be grateful to The Plumbing Therapist and Mike. He was honest and sincere.

The toilets we bought were broken when we opened them, and the faucet was used (from Home Depot, make sure you always check your purchases!), but Mike agreed to come back and finish the remaining job later that evening at no extra cost. We also needed a few small parts that he supplied at no charge. We would highly recommend this company to anyone. He did a great job!
Description of Work: We needed two toilets replaced, one pedestal sink installed, and a kitchen faucet replaced.

After two companies tried to pull fast ones on us by trumping up ridiculous reasons for our leak, the Therapist did the job with the simple ease of replacing a small plastic gasket. What a relief. He even left two new gaskets with us and showed me how to do it if it ever started to leak again. And they offer a 12-month warranty on their work. Ask some of the big companies about their warranties. The Plumbing Therapist is our plumber from here on out.

+ -1 moreDwayne was on-time and very pleasant. After he diagnosed the problem, he did not have a replacement valve cartridge in his the supply of his truck and had to leave to obtain one. However, he returned within 30 minutes and replaced the part. Total time was slightly more than 1 hour.

When we found the cause of the problems, he went out and purchased both the faucet and the flapper for us and then installed them, all for a very fair price. I am now looking for other jobs that I can have them do for us, since I feel they will do an outstanding job.

Even though he needed to do some additional work not included in the estimate, he stayed with his original price. The work was completed in a timely manner and is of high quality. I will definitely rehire this company if additional work is necessary and will refer him to friends and neighbors.
