The kitchen sink backed up Sunday night. Called Plumbing Therapist the following Monday at 6AM and left a voice message. Called them again at 9AM as I did not receive a call back. They just got my earlier message. Scheduled an appointment that afternoon and it was fixed in 20 minutes. They charge for the full hour, but I received a 15% discount. The plumber was very professional and quick.

mike has been here 4 times since may 2010 fixing long neglected plumbing problems. fixed clogged kitchen sink, installed shutoff valve for outdoor sprinkler water supply, got front auto sprinklers working after several years of being broken, reinstalled leaking drain plug in bathroom sink, removed old dishwasher and installed new one, fixed tub water on/off valve. a family company where you can get personal service

Everything went great from the courteous, prompt return phone call I received from Bonnie to the repairs that Brian performed. I left a message early on Saturday morning and received a return call within an hour. They were booked until Monday afternoon and since this wasn't a plumbing emergency, we were fine with that. They agreed to call us when they were on their way to our home, which they did. Brian was very nice and took his time to explain what he was doing and tips for what I might want to do in the future. We will definitely use them again.

When we noticed our problem on Sat, they were able to come out Monday. Brian was professional, friendly, and as a woman in my home alone at the time, I felt very comfortable. The price was below what I expected. He was extremely thorough and I would call TPT again. We have found our plumber!

Toilet started leaking from tank. The toilet is a smaller size so harder to get parts for and harder to replace. Called late on Wednesday, then The Plumbing Therapists did a lot of leg work to find the best possible toilet for the best possible price. Communication with me was excellent. After all the work of finding the right toilet, the repairman was able to just fix the offending toilet thus saving us lots of money. He also took a look at the other toilet in the house, replaced the fill valve and got the toilet flushing better for us. Work was done on Friday morning. Very nice people, very professional, and they work very hard to please the customer. I highly recommend.

I can't say enough good things about Bonnie and Mike Denico - they should be on every new homeowner's speed dial. Mike came out and gave me an estimate for all of the plumbing items that needed work in my new (old) house. The day after I closed escrow Mike had the water main replaced and as soon as I got the bathroom demo'd he got the pipes in there all worked out. AND during the weekend when I first moved in and found that there was a blockage in the pipes that made the washing machine into a huge fountain, Mike came out on Sunday afternoon and had everything back in fine working order within 30 minutes, for $80. I call that a bargain. Since it's an old house I am sure that there will be many plumbing issues in my future, and Mike and Bonnie will be the first people I call.

They were great. They were very professional and they give free estimates. The pricing was fair and they showed up on time. They call before they arrive so it was good.

We had a great experience with this job. We had previously used TPT for a plumbing repair and were impressed with the quality of the work, fair price, and the great customer service we received. (See separate report.) We had previously considered re-piping our 80-year old house, which still had the original galvanized plumbing and which had no water pressure because of the corrosion in the pipes. A previous owner also had re-plumbed the original shower/tub in the 1970's using plastic-stemmed fixture (another reason not to miss the '70's!), so we were ready to get this job done. Mike Denico, the owner, gave us a competitive bid and based on our previous great experience with TPT, we went with him. Mike did the work himself, with assistance from his Dad, Brian (who did our previous repair), and Javier. In spite of the fact that the job took twice as long as expected due to the complications of working in an old house and the especially quirky way the original plumbing was configured, Mike and crew kept smiling and working just as hard. We got a quality job done cleanly and with as little intrusion into existing walls as possible. Mike also made sure that we had water every night and kept things picked up so that we were never inconvenienced during the job. Brian did a great job with patching the walls and went above and beyond what was promised in the bid. What impressed us most was when my wife and I offered to pay Mike something extra because of the additional time he was spending on the job. Not only did Mike refuse, saying that he would stick with his bid, but almost seemed insulted that we would offer. The integrity and pride of craftsmanship shown by Mike is all too rare these days and impressed us very much. As long as we live in town and Mike is working, he will be our plumber. The results of the re-pipe have been great. We now have fantastic water pressure in the entire house, we have a shower that works properly (no more pliers to turn on and off) and will not wear out, and we were able to take two separate water systems and tank water heaters and get everything on one system. We love our new hybrid hot water heater, which gives us endless hot water on demand, even when several uses occur at the same time. While much of what we paid for cannot be seen because it is under the house, we can take our friends and family down to the basement and show them our cool new stainless steel, wall-mounted, 98% efficient water heater. While we may have been Mike's greatest challenge, we couldn't be happier with the outcome of the work and the unbelievable customer service we received from Mike and his crew. We already have recommended TPT to others and would happily do so to anyone!

My phone call was answered pleasantly and an appointment was scheduled according to our needs. Altho the plumber was delayed by traffic, he called to alert us and still arrived within the designated timeframe. Brian was the owner's father and was very personable, friendly and cordial, and worked quickly. In no time at all, the toilet functioned again to our great relief (pun intended) and he wrote up the invoice directly with the Angie's List discount. This was our second use of Plumbing Therapist in 3 years, and as before, we were completely satisfied and will call them again with our plumbing needs.

Michael was great. He was knowledgable, friendly and professional. He ran into a snag where he found an extra leak when replacing the main in the front. He spent quite a bit of time digging, finding and fixing the leak. We were worried about what extra money this would cost us, particularly because he didn't give us an estimate for that piece. In the end, there was no extra charge for the extra work that he did. He stuck to the estimate. Additionally, he noticed that another line needed to be replaced and was able to give us an estimate on that line and a new water heater while he was there. We were very impressed and will certainly have him come out again.

I made a call and scheduled an appointment for between 8 and 11 the next day. At 9:30 he called and said he was there. I showed him the problem and he got to work, about an hour later he was done. Showed up on time, no fuss, got the job done.

Brian arrived as scheduled, looked over the two dripping faucets (bathtub and shower) and the frozen drain plug (bathtub) and estimated the work at $160. The faucets and drain plug were fixed in two hours and are now working fine.

It went extremely well. They gave me a written quote with labor, parts, permits before I hired them. They did not go over their quote. They were professional and I liked their confidence. The building department signed off on the job quickly. They came back and painted the pipes on the outside of my house so it matched the exterior paint. They made sure everything was hooked up and working properly before they left. They are now my new plumbing company because of the quality of their work and integrity.

Brian, the owner's father, did the work. He was on-time and worked very efficiently. Brian was cheerful and clearly very skilled. He did not mind me tagging along, answering my questions and explaining what the issues were and how he was making the repairs. The good news was that our hot water heater just needed the connections tightened and the air conditioner condensate pump was fixed with the installation of a check valve. I was impressed with Brian's ability to identify the problems and get the repairs done effortlessly. My initial and a follow up calls with the office also were answered cheerfully by the owner's sister (sorry I forgot your name) and all of the arrangements were handled accurately and with consideration for my schedule. The Plumbing Therapist is a great company that I would definitely use again for our plumbing needs.

It was a pleasure working with The Plumbing Therapist from initial contact through completion of the estimate. To accomodate my work travel schedule, they scheduled our estimate for first thing the next morning, Friday October 9th. When Mike was held up on another job, they called immediately and rescheduled for Saturday morning, the following day, though it was only for an estimate, not an emergency. Mike thoroughly discussed the potential re-piping solutions with us before and after going down into our crawl space to ensure he had an accurate assessment. We were very favorably impressed by his innovative alternatives to tearing up walls and floors, But he also encouraged us to test out whether the problem might, in fact simply be rust or other particulate having traveled into the faucets before we scheduled the pipe replacement. He explained to my husband exactly how to do that - and fortunately for us, we were able to resolve the problem ourselves this weekend. If we have any plumbing problems in the future, we know who we are going to call!

They were polite and responsive. The owner's father came out the first time, looked at the problem and told me what was wrong. He then arranged to come out the next morning with one of his colleagues, and they did the job to my complete satisfaction.
