Mac's Plumbing Heating and Air

Although I know that it's not really true, from the first moments of my first call to Mac's offices to the moment Tom, our service person, drove off, I felt that I was their one and only client, and their Number 1 priority. Yes. Yes! Definitely, I recommend Mac's to anyone who as an urgent problem, as I had, or if they have time to plan a less panicked service call. Call Mac's. They aren't exactly next door to my home, but they sure feel like neighbors.

Tom,Mac's Plumbing, was professional and very thorough. He explained everything he saw with the main line overflow and explained what he could do to resolve the problem. He not only solved the "horrors" of a plumbing problem but he cleaned up the awful residue that comes with sewer issues. I not only recommend this company but they are our NEW plumbing company.

Very prompt response and on time. My issue is cost. I provided two tub faucets to be installed and they were installed by the tech who was here 1 hour. After getting a senior discount and reduction for work agreed to not do, the bill was $432. My opinion was too much for 1 hours work. Tom was very friendly and polite.

Mac’s was good to work with and they performed the work in a timely manner. They kept us informed throughout the work. Cost was a bit high but was in line with their competitors

Ridiculously over-priced. Nearly $900 to take out old laundry tub and faucet, and install new sink and faucet, which we supplied. Took about 2 1/2 hours in total which included almost 1/2 hour estimating the job which included taking photos of old sink/faucet and new ones, as well as install location, then calling boss to make estimate. Another 1/2 hour, at least, was to got get hoses to install. Very bad experience. This is about $300-400/ hour for actual work. Would never use again. Plumber had nice personality and a good representative of his company.

the toilets are fixed right and work well, & he stayed late until the job was done, but I thought the price was extremely high. more than the cost of a new toilet, but then I had two fixed for that cost.

I had a emergency on one of the hottest days we had in Elk Grove CA this year. I had 3 kids at home and one is a type 1 Diabetic with heat sensitive medication. They made a same day appointment and fixed the problem quick and efficiently. The repairman was friendly with a great sense of humor, knowledgeable and great at his job. I am happy with this company and will use them again if the time ever comes up.

Only issue I had was that the first person that came out could not ID the problem. A second person came out a couple days later and ID the problem. Then they had to order the part and a third person came out and fix the problem. It took a over a week for my air conditioner to get fixed. I do feel they were concerned about my problem and wanted to fix. Everyone was very professional.
