It was great, did a thorough inspection, and stuck with price.

After reading positive reviews on Angie's List about this contractor, I called to have my old system serviced because it had stopped working. Tim came out, and after checking the system, recommended replacement. He provided me with estimates on several systems, being sensitive to my concerns about cost. At no time did I feel pressured to purchase anything from them. After I selected a system, Tim explained how Moore Mechanical would obtain necessary permits, schedule a remediation company to remove some asbestos wrapped pipes, and install new ductwork and the HVAC system. Throughout the installation, the workers were respectful and worked hard during very hot weather. They left the work areas neat and clean. The office personnel were great to work with...keeping me informed about scheduling. The system has been in for a year and I am very happy with it.

I had a different Angie's List company (A rated) come first to fix my air conditioner and was told I needed an entirely new air conditioning/heating system at a cost of $9500.00. I decided to get a second opinion, and called Moore Mechanical. Sean arrived exactly on time, and was able to fix the system in a couple of hours!! He was polite, honest, and extremely knowledgable . I then asked him how much a new air cleaner would be since I had been told by another company that it was broken. He checked it out and showed me how simple it would be to fix it...and proceeded to do so, My husband and I couldn't be happier! I waited to write a review to make sure it continued to work, and it is working perfectly!!! I would HIGHLY recommend Moore Mechanical, and Sean.

They arrived on time and worked hard to complete it in one day. Left the house clean and tidy.

Contacted Moore for a quote for a new system after receiving responses from two other suppliers. Kevin came out the same day and was very thorough in looking at my existing system and the ducting both under the house and in the attic. He identified areas where the existing installation had left openings in the return ducts which allowed dust and dirt from the attic area to enter the furnace. He also suggested a means to reconstruct the return duct allowing for a more efficient flow of air and eliminating the dust from entering the system which had been causing allergic reactions to family members. A second visit with the head of the installation crew confirmed what was to be done in addition to installing the furnace. The price to install a new system and correct the deficiencies in the ducting was very competitive with the other quotes that I obtained. The other quotes did not address the deficiencies in the duct work as they did not bother to thoroughly look at the existing furnace/A/C. The Moore installers were very professional and completed the work in one day as indicated in the estimate. I would not hesitate to use Moore Mechanical again or recommend them to other homeowners.

Kevin called beforehand to explain the work in detail and give the cost to complete the work. Once approved, he scheduled the work with tenant.

They did a great job. The service was good and their product was good. I would recommend their services.

I was told that I should meet them at our condo, between 2-4 pm. I drove 45 minutes to meet them and waited until 4:20 and had to leave to avoid commute traffic. They arrived at 4:45. They claimed that they had tried to contact me, but did not do so at any of the phone numbers which we had provided. They did actually provide a space heater overnight.

They are excellent and were recommended by my daughter. They gave me an Angie's List discount. Their price is reasonable for both the heater and air conditioner. They were very professional and did a good job. There was one glitch where they did not wrap around the pipes. A city inspector told me they needed to be wrapped so I called Moore and they came right back out and wrapped them. It was something minor. They come and call when they are supposed to. I did buy a service contract with them and they reminded me a few days ago that it is time. I have nothing negative to say, it is all positive. I have seen cheaper prices, but cheaper companies don't have the customer service Moore has. It is a family owned company.

The service proffesional's name is Sean, and he's the best (by far) that we've had. He explained everything he was doing, which cleared up much of the mystery we've been experiencing. Other companies gave out quite a bit of misinformation, which led to our confusion about programming. Our refrigerant has probably been low for years, but we didn't call for repair due to our continued frustration and wariness related to AC companies. We are very happy with Moore Mechanical because they are competent, friendly, and fast.

Arrived exactly on time. Spent well over two hours checking and cleaning the systems. Seemed very thorough. Couldn't have asked for better service.

An employee that was going on vacation stopped by our house on his way home when I called in a panic because water was seeping up through the floor. We were having a heat wave and everyone was booked. I have my children in the house as well and the thermostat read 90. He put in a temporary fix so we could run the air r and they came out to install the pump the next week! My husband and I are very pleased.

Throughout the process, everyone at Moore Mechanical was knowledgable, courteous, and responsive. Kevin came out and did a full load calculation, and introduced me to Byron, who would be doing the two-day installation. They answered all my questions, and provided a level of detail in their estimate that made it easy for us to understand just what we were spending our money on. The HVAC installation went splendidly. Byron and his crew arrived on time both days, laid out blankets everywhere they would be walking and working, and cleaned up after themselves. They showed us how to use the new controllers, and let us know pretty much everything about our new system. To me, the true test of a company is how they handle the hiccups from time to time. While we had an issue with the water heater installation, the way they handled this issue made me even more impressed with them as a company, because they proved that their promise of providing customer service the way it used to be is far more than just lip service. One of the flex hoses they used to install the water heater started leaking the day after they installed it. Kevin and Nikole listened to my concerns, and agreed to put in a new unit. No repeated calls. No running it up the chain to different levels of management and waiting days to hear back. Just amazing customer service. And the installation of the new water heater went off without a hitch. If there was a way to give Kevin, Byron, and Nikole an A-Plus, I would. Although I think their consistent high marks here pretty much let you know that?s the grade they?ve earned.

The tech arrived on time and was extremely professional and helpful. He resolved the problem by simply changing out the filter and installing a new one he made up with parts that were in his work van. He then explained the maintainence services Moore Mechanical provides at $180 per year. It was such a bargain I purchased two contracts for two homes. The tech covered his work boots whenever he walked in the house. He climbed his ladder and checked out the duct system in the attic. He also located wiring that was in place for the option of installing a second zone upstairs with a thermostat. I found the services totally satisfying and I would recommend Moore Mechanical Heating and Air Conditioning to everyone!

From start to finish Moore Mechanical was professional and top notch with all aspects of our new system. Would definitly use again and would highly recommend!

It was a completely new system. They did a nice job and I would recommend them.

They do this every year for us. Dependable. Reliable. No obnoxious over selling of a new furnace or other services. We once tried another service because Moore was booked up. What a mistake. They are no-nonsense.

Showed up at 8:30 as promised and finished by two pm. There were three people on site. Byron was great in explaining everything to me and showing me about replacing filters, how to work the new thermostats, etc.

Moore Mechanical did a great job overall in performing the work as was agreed on in their proposal. Steve Moore, the owner, was very responsive in coming out to check out everything before providing a detailed cost estimate. Scheduling and punctuality were great and the work performed was also excellent. The only thing I would have done different is insist on a crane service to lift the new unit onto the roof. The manual forklift used and the manhandling of the unit on the roof was a little rough but it appears that the HVAC unit is fine.

Air conditioner stopped working over the weekend after 2 few months of non cooling. Called at 7:40am looking for 1st available appt. to have technician come out and take a look. Nice woman on phone said 1st available Friday morning 8-8:30am so I booked appt. I told her that if you have a cancelation or something comes up I am only 20-30minutes from home and can meet. She said I will be first on the move up list and contact me if something opens up. At 7:55am she calls me back and asks if I can meet her technician at 8:30am of course I can. I leave work and arrive home at 8:40 and tech is waiting outside my home. I take him to the unit and explain the problem that it does not turn on and that I have already checked the fuses and the breaker panel. He immediately gets to work and gets out his test equipment and starts checking for power to unit. Power all the way to motor and no movement possible bad motor. He then checks the contacts for the motor and finds a dead earwig lodged between them. Once bug removed he test motor and it starts up immediately. I inform him that when it was running it did not blow that cold so he suspects a coolant leak. He finds evidence of a coolant leak on one of the lines that has an oily substance on it. He attaches some test equipment and finds out my machine is down half of its coolant and that the unit needs to be recalibrated. Tech adds 2 and 3/4 pounds of coolant and gets everything running correctly. I go inside and vents pumping out cold air like never before. Tech buttons everything back up and we are done. He writes up a service tag, uses his Iphone to run my credit card, which was neat and we are done. Total time on job about 35minutes. Great service, no up selling, well trained technician. I am thinking of having upstairs ducts replaced and he gave me a price for that. Will use them in the future for any hvac needs that arise. Very satisfied, 5 star service.

I had a very good experience. I called several places from Angie's List. Moore Mechanical said they could arrive the next morning, which was better than the other two places I called who couldn't come until the following week. I asked to be put on the wait list in case someone cancelled. Moore Mechanical called two hours later and said a technician finished early and was nearby. This was great news. The guy was professional and friendly. The first thing he checked was the filter. I had a fliter in stock, so he replaced it. Unfortunately, that wasn't the fix. It turned out to be a capicitor on the air handler; which he had in his truck. I live in a Condo that is 13 years old and the air conditioner looks rusty from the outside elements. He never once suggested that I needed a new air conditioning unit; which was my biggest fear. I thought the technician was honest and tried to the most inexpensive fixes first. He was in and out of my place in 40 minutes. I would definitely call this company again.

Installation was great, it only took two days and may have been done sooner if I had everything ready. Even though area wasn't completely ready for installation, Byron and his crew worked around me without a complaint. Personable and with an attention to detail, everyone was top notch. Furnace operated instantly and without a hitch. Recommended Carrier furnace is super quiet and takes up only half the space the old one did. Having been in the general construction business for 35 years, I greatly appreciated not only the quality and professionalism of the work but the genuine personal service from everyone at Moore Mechanical.

Ultimately did not choose this vendor due to location but appeared to be a competent contender.

They were effective, knowledgeable and pleasant.
