Description of Work: They solved our overheating issue that we have been struggling with other dealers and repair shops to fix for over 2 years. Dave is extremely knowledgeable and listened to us when we described the symptoms which lead him on a different course than all the others to find the problem - and he did! His daughter Connie is just as knowledgable and she would always follow up our phone calls and kept us informed about the progress. These people are good, honest, hard-working experts and I will continue to drive 40 miles for any other service or just for maintenance work. Just can't say enough.

Description of Work: I was having scary noises and vibrations that in the car that made me bring it in. I thought I remembered the shop from a friend who has since passed away, so I couldn't check. But when I got there, everyone was so attentive and friendly I thought it must be the place. I decided to also ask about other repairs that had been also recommended previously to me. They had me bring in my repair history so they wouldn't recommend something already done. I received an estimate broken down in three parts: the work needed to fix the broken housing they found that was causing my problem, the strut work I asked about, other maintenance that could be done at some point. No pressure to do any of it at that time, but I decided to just do the whole thing at once. They gave me a ride home (about 5-7 miles), told me they had an arrangement with a rental if I needed a car in the interim ( I happened to not for a couple of days), picked me up when it was done. I think it was about 2 days they had my car. It has been running great since then. I am getting ready to set up an appointment to have the oil changed and a some inspection in the next week or so.

Description of Work: I first contacted them as I needed a rebuilt Transmission for my Ford Focus. They advised that they only do Transmissions on Custom Cars. They referred me to Citrus Transmission which was across the street. They were very helpful to me and I observed the many Custom Cars that they were refurbishing and the workmanship was excellent. I would refer them to anyone needing their services.

+ -1 moreWe were looking on Angie's list for a car repair shop. We decided to try this shop because of the recommendations. My son and husband took the car in to find out why it was running ruff. Repairs were made after diagnosing what was wrong. The car was having problems after the mechanic test drove it. Further test were run and it was determined to be the coil. When we picked up the car the mechanic answered all of my sons questions and told him if he had any more problems to bring it back. My son said the car was running good.
Description of Work: The car a Ford Mustang was running ruff. The car needed spark plugs. wires, and a manifold gasket. Parts were replaced and the car was still running ruff. Upon further diagnose it was determined that the coil need to be replaced. It was replaced and the car is running fine.

I have over 100k on my car and am trying to make it last another 50k. Dave assured me that my car would last with proper maintenance. I will definitely give them my business from here on out.

+ -1 moreI called Dave at Precision Autoworks to see if he could set my timing and adjust my idle on my 318i. He said no problem and to bring it right down without an appointment. It took them about an hour to set the timing and adjust the idle. This was great because I called about 4 other shops and they all said they don't like or just do not work on cars this old.
Description of Work: Dave adjusted my ignition timing and idle. As well as the CO level at idle.

The only inconvenience is that I live in Monrovia and have to drive all the way to their office in Covina. But it's worth going that far as their service is good. Sometimes, they run into problems getting spare parts as my cars are old and this affects the schedule.

Description of Work: They have serviced my 1979 VW Diesel Rabbit since 1998. It has 500,000+ miles on it and since these guys have worked, it runs like a Swiss watch and gets 40 miles to the gallon! Sometimes punctuality is a problem because its difficult to find parts for a car this old, but they always come through for me. If they can't find a part, they'll improvise and come up with something that will maintain the functionality. They know what they are doing.
