For the month of DECEMBER 2018 we will donate a portion of every project to the California Fire Survivors fund. We are a direct manufacturer of high quality vinyl Custom Egress Windows, Patio Doors, French Doors, Arch Windows and many more in a variety of colors and finishes! Located within the heart of the San Fernando Valley in the City of Chatsworth, California Deluxe Windows® has established itself as a leader in quality and performance in the custom window manufacturing industry. Our job is to make you understand the true value in choosing custom windows rather than vinyl windows out of an assembly line. Description of Work: Our condo board (24 units) agreed to permit unit owners in this 1974 building to replace their old windows with energy-conserving updated installations - as long as they used the only company we approved. As a board member, I was part of the committee that generated that approval. After a long investigative process, the only company that met all our needs at competitive prices was CDW. Not every unit opted to replace their windows. CDW agreed to provide, at no extra cost to the building or owners, matching frame wrapping for any remaining old windows, so that the exterior look was consistent, even for those old windows. Each window installation needed to be arranged with several owners. Our representative worked hard with us to insure that this project was completed in as short a time as possible, while managing to comply with each owner's schedule and concerns. They returned at no cost to us when some touch-up repairs needed doing. We were impressed with their responsiveness, flexibility, and professionalism in addressing our concerns. | |Recently, two owners who wanted new windows installed (where none were previously) arranged with CDW to do the work and submitted down payments. The board then decided that building structural integrity might be compromised by allowing this project to continue and rescinded permission. I worked with Chad Burns, CDW VP of operations, to obtain a refund for these owners. Chad was quick to understand the problem and refunded those down payments to the owners. His willingness to go beyond an initial agreement and the general customer-friendly attitude of CDW were much appreciated.

Description of Work: We got an estimate on the spot which was about 100% over the competition and the rep tried to push us to sign by offering a one time 20% off bonus if we would have signed that day. We felt that he wanted to take advantage of the situation, because we told him that they were the first ones that we looked at.

THIS COMPANY DOES NOT FOLLOW THROUGH WITH APPOINTMENTS. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO COMMUNICATE WITH THEM AND THEY DO NOT READILY COME OUT. PERSONNEL CHANGES HAMPER THINGS TOO. WHEN THEY DID COME OUT TO FIX THINGS, OCCASIONALLY THEY WOULD NOT COME PREPARED WITH ALL THE PROPER TOOLS.
Description of Work: INSTALLED 15 WINDOWS THROUGHOUT HOUSE, INCLUDING NEW SCREENS. COMPLETELY REMOVED OLD WINDOWS AND FRAMES.
