He always provides excellent work and cleans up after himself. He is very responsible. Anytime I have a plumbing need I call him. I have been using him for about 4 years for atleast 3 rental properties. He has also been helpful in providing information toward which products to purchase.

About a month after we moved into our home, the pilot light on our Kenmore water heater kept going out. We called our home warranty company and they sent out South Bay Plumbing. They were very rude and told me I didn't know anything about water heaters (I am a home insepctor and a former general contractor). They said they couldn't fix the water heater. We had the warrany company send out another plumber(see report on Villa Plumbing) and they were here for about 10 minutes and fixed the problem.

South Bay Pluming was called and Perry responded on an emergency basis and submitted a written bid for the required work. After my agreement to the terms, he moved expeditiously to install the water heater and obtained the necessary permit upon completion. He demonstrated excellent knowledge of what was needed, arrived at the specified time and completed the job in a highly professional and timely manner. His work was neat and he left the area spotless. Perry was responsive to any questions I had and always presented as courteous, efficient, and helpful.

First service was done fine and without a problem. They did not show up reliably the second time. The plumber had to leave to get the correct parts and it took several hours to replace the water heater. Not quite all of the work was finished that day; he didn't show up when scheduled. It took almost two weeks for the job to be completely done. (After a few phone calls asking them to come back and finish.)

THE SERVICE OVERALL WAS PRETTY FAIR. THEY WERE ON TIME AND SERVICE MAN WAS VERY POLITE. HE EXPLAINED TO US WHAT TO DO TO HELP PREVENT FURTHER DAMAGES AND WHAT TO DO IF IT HAPPENED AGAIN.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB, AND THE CHARGE WAS REASONABLE. ONE STRANGE OBSERVATION THOUGH. WHEN THE GUY CAME OUT TO FIX THE BROKEN PIPE, HE CRITICIZED THE ORIGINAL WORK DONE ON THE FAUCET, WHICH WAS PERFORMED BY ANOTHER MEMBER OF HIS COMPANY.
