We had problems the moment we started with Ms. Siegel. First, the listings she would give us of possible properties were always over what we said we cold afford and we showed her properties online that were available in our price range but by the time she checked on them they were sold. Ms. Siegel lied constantly, always promising a phone call back that day or night and ALWAYS never doing as she promised. It became a running joke it happened so often. She just didn't care at all. When we finally made an offer on a property she would keep telling us to raise our offer over and over. When we finally refused it turns out the seller took our smaller offer. Her instincts were way off. When that sale fell through we decided not to look for a property and refused to work with Sarah Siegel. Many months later a property we thought was sold came up for purchase. Since Sarah Siegel showed it to us we thought it would only be fair to have her represent us. What a mistake. Once again she would make promises to call and never keep them. Sarah would always claim something good was going to happen and it always never did. When we complained to her that she always lies and never returns calls she promised to call us once a week and keep us up to date as to what was happening with our sale. We didn't hear from her for three weeks. We called, texted and finally spoke to her manager. Sarah called quickly after that and said she was sorry but gave no reason for ignoring us. This was a six month long short sale and that was not her fault BUT whenever we found a different property for purchase she was always late to make the call to the other agents and we always lost them. That happened over and over. Sarah Siegel just doesn't care. When we finally got the property on the first of November 2009 Sarah promised to come over to the house on Monday with a special gift and a happy welcome. It never happened. A month later I filed a complaint with the Sotheby's corp and the management of Ewing about how we were treated. Just because my wife and I didn't buy a mansion it doesn't mean we don't deserve the same respect. The managers couldn't care less. They got thier thousands of dollars and Sarah Siegel never apologized or contacted us and neither did anyone else. We had to contact her recently for tax information so we could do our taxes. Sarah promised a call back with information and nothing happened. Ewing & Assoc. Sotheby's International Realty is the worst company I have ever worked with and Sarah Siegel not only is the worst Real Estate Agent but her actions, at the very least, warrant some action from her supervisors. I can only guess that Sarah Siegel represents the way her company works and if they are happy with her job then everyone should stay far away from this company.
