expensive, but did a great job

I have great experience with this roofing company. They recently installed new roof on my house and they were excellent in all aspects of their work. The quality is great, the price more than fair and they cleaned everything at the end. I can't ask for more, highest recommendation on DR Roofs!

Dr Roofs gave me great offer to install a new traditional tile roof and I accepted it. They arrived soon after we made a deal, all workers were pleasant and professional, worked very quick and finished before promised time. My roof looks fantastic, perfect job, thank you!

I was looking a company to install metal roof on my house. I interviewed several of them and Sharp Dr Roofs offer was most interesting. They are also very reputable company so I went with them. They arrived promptly on time and start working hard from the beginning of the work. They were so well organized so there weren't any mistakes or issues. I decided to replace my old roof and called a several companies to see their offers and decided to go with DR. Roofs. They were available in very short time and the price was acceptable. The installation went smoothly thanks to great team. They didn'd made a single mistake, very experienced workers. My new roof looks amazing. Highly recommend this company!

I wrote a previous review that outlined the problems/issues I had during this project. Though I am not rescinding that review, as all of those things actually happened, I will say that the owner personally reached out to me after reading the review and seeing what I experienced. He did not need to do that as the project was already paid in full, and with a new roof its not like Im going to be doing a new roof anytime soon. He offered his apologies for the issues I experienced, and we discussed in detail everything that took place. I will say that based on my conversation with him I do believe that he is personally committed to delivering a quality project, in a timely manner, and at a fair price. So despite the things I experienced during this project, I would feel comfortable recommending Mr. Roof, as well as utilizing them myself should the need arise.

Do not hire this company! They did not pull a permit on the roofing job. It was only after a complaint was made that a permit was pulled 9 days after the job commenced. They were rude and stated they were only going to do the minimum required for the job. Instead of nailing a radiant barrier to the frame of the roof, they nailed in between on the decking causing nails to poke through over an inch splitting the decking and causing a safety hazard when standing in the attic. They tried to roof the entire project before getting a tear off and sheeting inspection. However, they had shingled half of the garage when I caught them putting on the wrong color and brand of shingle with the wrong size fasteners. The shingles had been laid end to end and with only 7/8 fasteners, neither of which are city code compliant. They claimed that the shingles purchased were the ones currently on my roof even though I questioned this several times before they were installed. Needless to say they had to tear off the shingles and underlayment and re-nail the radiant barrier upon city inspection. After a second inspection, the city supervisor only gave them a partial approval. At that point , they wanted me to pay for another correction which is not permissible per the contractors state license board. They also bought shingles (CertainTeed) that were not title 24 complaint and admitted that they were not certified to put them on the roof. They left my grassed yard full of roofing debris and the driveway full of roofing material. Needless to say the job was not completed and a complaint will be sent to the state license board for not filing a permit. They had their attorney call me to buy me off by refunding the amount paid in exchange for asking me to remove all the negative reviews on various websites. Apparently, this is how they get their 5 star ratings. I would give them no stars for this work. I have filed a complaint and permit violation with the state contractors board. Roofing jobs are not quick and 2 city approved inspections must occur before the contractor can proceed. From the reviews I have read, it seems like permits were not pulled with the city and inspections did not occur. Its any easy process to check a permit online with building and safety. Otherwise, substandard roofing can lead to leaks and unexpected costs in the future.

Done in two days

The workers painted on some of my grass & back yard without putting newspaper. The grass will grow out but I have a mark on the back yard.
