Called vendor on 12-04-2013 to replace a leaking hot water circulating pump. Told them the model of the pump to install to just bring it in. we did not need an extra charge just to look. Chris came in on 12-17 without the parts.Said he will call me back at the end of the day with an estimate. never heard from him again. Called the company spoke with Jeff. He Called Chris. Chris told him he willl call me. I have not heard from him. At This point, We are reluctant to do any business with them. In the meantime , we have no hot water and its winter. ````` ooklook

William arrived on time and was very helpful/professional. Appreciated that he was patient and walked me through the details about the testing he was doing. This is my second appointment with this plumbing company ... Highly recommend.

Installed new toilet and connecting pipes, new kitchen sink, and repaired plumbing leading to bathroom sink.

They did what they said they were going to do in a time that they were going to do and the amount of money that they said they were going to do. They were very professional, punctual, and very easy to work with.

I think that they are extremely responsive. They made it out to our house within a half hour of calling. They refused to give a ballpark estimate over the phone, which was a little obnoxious, because I had no idea of how much I was going to spend before hand that is a negative. They are a one-stop shop for everything plumbing, so they can do maintenance and install plumbing if necessary which is nice. They are thorough and responsive to my requests. I did not know how much it was going to cost until they got there. I would use them again.

Replaced main water shut-off valve, installed pressure regulator, replaced valves under kitchen sink. All went fine except they weren't able to complete the work that I originally scheduled during the first visit, so they had to come back. Quality was good

The guy that was sent out really knew what he was doing. He was very helpful and kind. He spent as much time as it took to do a proper house inspection which was in the $49 offer or whatever it was and then I chose him to do the work and he came back. Even though I got a discounted price and I got the discount through Angie's List, it was still expensive but I agreed to have the drains cleaned out because water would come out in the shower and it was disgusting and it turned out that there was a pretty small blockage. He charged me about $600 or $700 but I do not remember the exact amount. If I had gone to a cheap place and they would do a quick check and discover that it was not so much then I would have it done with them. I was sorry that I spent so much because the problem itself was resolvable and it was resolved in a very short period of time but I had nevertheless agreed to pay a fixed price which was pretty high. But I really appreciated the guy who did the work.

Plumber arrived within two hour window. He was clean cut, polite and professional. I showed the faucets and explained the issues. I asked him how long he thought it would take. He said 2 hours. I then asked how much, he said $175 an hour, so $350 + a trip charge. I explained I felt that was unreasonable and that would be willing to pay $100 an hour.. He explained he could not do that. I explained that when I spoke with the office they had mentioned there was no per hour charge. He said the price per project charge would be $899 and that he was "giving me a break' by pricing per hour. $175 an hour is unreasonable to me. I sent him on his way. He was very polite throughout the entire discussion.

Service request over the phone was efficient, service person was even early for appointment, explained everything he was doing, showed me exactly what had clogged the pipe and how to avoid in the future. Estimate was exact and service was fast.

That turned out well. I don't remember all the details but I was happy about it.

Stan King not only did an excellent, thorough job, but he gave some additional advice on our front loading washer/dryer system. When he was in our basement, he inspected the visible plumbing as well and gave us a heads-up on what was down there. Stan was punctual, courteous and respectful. I hope when we use this plumbing company again, Stan will be assigned to the job!

I am very pleased with Nahman Plumbing and Heating. I work from home, so they were able to schedule us for the next day. The person I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant and professional. Will, our plumber, was very nice, was able to explain everything well, and performed the repairs quickly and cleanly. And, he was VERY nice to our cats. Our repairs were very simple (clogged drain and running toilet). We were charged a reasonable rate for the clogged drain, plus the flat appointment fee which we were aware of ahead of time. Our toilet only needed a plastic clip to fix, so we weren't charged for that. We could have been sold a much more expensive repair on the toilet and would not have known the difference. We were told our toilet is about 20 years old, which we suspected, and we were provided a quote to replace it but there was no hard sell at all. We are seriously considering replacing the toilet and using Nahmans in the very near future.

Estimator came out. He was on time. He seemed like a nice guy. We discussed the project and had a good rapport.. I expected to hear back within a few days for an estimate. I never heard from him again. It's been 2+ months. On the one hand, I'm concerned that something happened to him. On the other hand, this is so bad on the part of the company, who is of course responsible.

sBuilding is a 4-plex. Tenant stated kitchen sink not working in "hot" position. Tenant called me back stating nothing changed. Not sure what I paid for. Other options available might be more expensive but at least the problem was solved. I'd call them if I had no other options.

Replaced drain pipes. Did a great job!

They were very nice, pleasant to deal with, knowledgable and thorough. They were very very expensive. The employee that came out was very generous of their time and tried to get me the best price possible.

Technician was very courteous and seemed to be knowledgeable, but the estimate was simply too high compared to other two estimates I received.

Friendly, knowledgeable, willing to explain and answer questions, cleaned up after the work. They had to move the appt. time back a bit, but called 1st thing in the morning to ask if the change was ok.

I bought a $200 service (???) for $139. Then I got a message from the company that was to perform the job and they added $79 just to come out. Combine the two and it's $218 , or more than the job is worth in the first place.

It went well. The provider cleared our drain and gave an estimate for additional work.

After seeing water running down from my window jam on the floor below the toilet, I wanted to make sure the company I selected could handle opening walls and siding if the repair needed was more complex than just a loose toilet wax ring. I decided since this could run anywhere from a few hundred to thousands of dollars, it was time to join Angie's List. Albert Nahman had an A rating, and confirmed they could do any type of floor and wall repair if needed. I was able to get a next day appointment. The gentleman that booked me was friendly and took down a lot of details about my problem. Their technician Michael P showed up exactly on time, totally professional, and with booties on :-) He proceeded to review possible causes, and estimate costs if major work was needed to open walls and/or flooring. I was lucky that he found my original (licensed) plumber that installed the toilet a few years ago did not use the proper wax ring to account for the extra depth after a new floor was installed. I think their charges were reasonable based on their ability to handle any type of repair work, and not just a simple drip fix.

My original call was to trouble shoot a plumbing installation I had attempted myself. The rep identifed the problem and also informed me of the overdue water heater maintenance which contributed to my original call. The additional, costly service that was needed to avoid a water heater breakdown was unexpected. The rep explained the neccesity and urgency of the service. She informed me of the coupons available to help me pay for the unexpected expense, I was very grateful for that. The next appt was scheduled within a few days. The new rep was prompt, professional and polite and was familiar with my specific water heater. He fixed my plumbing installation, then started the maintenance on my water heater. When the water heater was originally installed, unknown to me, the other plumbing company did not install the shut-off valves that should have been installed. This added to my current repair bill, but was unavoidable. During the maintenance, the service rep discovered a dangerously damaged burner unit. I was able to call the manufacturer and have one delivered the next day, on a Friday, for an higher delivery fee. The rep could not return untill Monday to complete the installation and maintenance. I wished to have the same rep who was already familiar with my situation continue the repair, so I hesitantly agreed to a Monday appt. I was worried about having a potential breakdown over the weekend and relayed that to their office when they called. They assured me they would be available for any emergency over the weekend because of my worrisome, damaged burner. Thankfully there were no problems on the weekend and all went well on Monday. I was pleasantly surprized when the rep offered to subtract the additional cost I was charged for overnite delivery on the replacement burner. I also accepted member participation in a very economical offer they had available. The rep made every effort to offer me the best value available in their Diamond Club membership.

Nahman is always so great. For the second time in two weeks, the pilot light went out. Willie came out, relit the pilot light, showed me how to do it in the future and was on his way in ten minutes. Fast, friendly, honest, and professional. I love these guys!

The service man came within the scheduled time and I described each of the problems and then he gave me a fair quote. After I agree on the terms, he quickly went to work with booties on and a blanket to cover my floor while he worked. Explained want needed to be done and want was the cause of the problem so I can prevent it from reoccurring. He also explain the care form my water heater so it can run property.

It was great. I really appreciated his honesty and helpfulness.
