UPDATE: Outstanding service on return of failed part. Had ac service performed and new ac compressor installed with all associated work. The new ac compressor failed. They honored their warranty and repaired the ac system expeditiously and I left satisfied with the work. Thank you.
"I apologize for the bad experience you had with our company. As I do not know if this is the father which I spoke to on the phone or the daughter driving the vehicle I will extend this response to both of you. As I remember the conversation I received a call from the father early on a friday morning about a possible problem with the vehicle that we had performed repairs to. I was informed that the vehicle was operated half a day driving around town before they noticed a smoking from the engine compartment & the A/C not blowing as cold as the day they had picked it up. I was informed by the father that his daughter would be dropping the vehicle off that morning (when we perform our diagnosing). Please keep in mind the afternoon we have commited to repairs which are promised out that day. Those commitments are fulfilled before we perform any further diagnosing that day. As the daughter showed up at 1:00 in the afternoon to drop the vehicle off for diagnosing on a vehicle that takes half a day to act up I am lost as to why you are dissapointed if at closing (5:00 p.m.) we have not confirmed the complaint. Please bear in mind that even if we identified a defective part (especially if it is identical to the part we just replaced) without identifying the cause of the failure you could be subjecting yourself to the same situation further down the road. I never wish for anyone to have to bring their vehicle back for work we do. We build our reputation on it & as I stated before I do apologize for it. As the father & I spoke on the 28th he advised our facility he would contact his daughter & have her drop it off again that morning. Once again the car showed up at 1:00 p.m. We did identify the problem, we replaced the defective part at no charge to the family & even replaced a serpentine belt tensioner the father was concerned with (with a new unit) at no charge for having to bring the vehicle back in for warranty work. Please keep in mind this was all taken care of in the latter half of the day on a hot engine in an effort to keep a customer happy. As always I appreciate all comments and will utilize this negative response in an effort to improve the services here."
Gary called around 3pm to let me know that they thought they had it fixed but while driving it discovered that it wasn't fixed and that it was unlikely they would be able to complete repairs before end of the day. Asked if I needed a ride home or anything.
Car was left overnight and was ready to go after work the next day.
During the whole process, Gary was very helpful and kept me informed about what was happening.

Your suggestions will not go unoticed & I want to assure you that implements have already been put into place to improve upon those items.
