Description of Work: Called them to change shower faucet. Figured about two hours worth of work for two hundred. Oops it was a four hour job because they had to go into the wall and it cost just over four hundred. | |I needed them quickly they came the next day. It was expensive but you get what you pay for. They were clean professional great work no issues at all.

Description of Work: They were called out to deal with a water leak. |They identified the general area of the leak. They capped off the lines leading to the leak. For this approx 3.5 hrs of work ey charged $1200. | |They gave a bid of $3000 to reroute about 10 ft of piping to repair the problem. Given the high est. I told them I'd think about it and asked them to get back to me on the following Monday. They never followed up. | |Since then I got two other bids to repair --- one for $850, the other for $1200. I'm currently in the process of going with a third company who's including the rerouting as part of a whole house pipe refurbishment.

Description of Work: We were thrilled with the care and professionalism of Joseph! We were afraid we had a leak under the walkway; Joseph approached the issue very methodically, first checking out the sprinkler system. He was not in any hurry to start digging up our yard--he turned off the sprinkler system, and waited 2 days to see if the water went away. It did! -- no fuss, no muss! :) Very pleased!

Description of Work: Re-routing hot water feed pipes behind existing vent piping to new location to fix vanity and raised piping up two feet for new shower head. They were very informative, neat and cleaned up afterwards. Very funny and a pleasure having in my home. Explained a few other questions I had and gave some advice! I would have these folks back to do my next job in a heart beat!!

Description of Work: Our daughter and son-in-law used Barker based on our recommendation, due to our satisfaction with their service to us in the past. She had a significant sewer connection blockage which was resolved after much hard work and long hours, and great care by the Barker team.

Description of Work: Water leak. They fixed it however determined additional unnecessary work was needed. In doing so they did fix the leak however part of my irrigation system system doesn't work any longer. The tech said if I dug up the problem area they would come back (if I found it they would fix it). Of course that will cost more. I of course had little choice in the matter as I was out of the country at the time and had no choice in the matter.....

Description of Work: The good: super responsive, updates frequently on ETA, excellent inspections, very friendly and knowledgeable, quick and quality work performed. | |Let's start with the response, I emailed them my water heater leaking issue past midnight (didn't expect a response until maybe midday next day) and got a response at 7:15am arranging service of taking care the issue the same day. Having dealt with many contractors, I know this NEVER happen with the majority of those contractors. | |Frank was my service contractor/plumber, he explained the problems I have and also highlighted what other issues might contribute to that. Walking through the whole process with me with recommendations/options. I asked a lot of dumb questions but he had been very patient with me throughout. I am very impressed with his professionalism and feel very confident with his work. I would definitely recommend having this company on serving your home's plumbing and heater issues.

Description of Work: They were very professional. Arrived on time and kept me in the loop with calls from the office. Had an earthquake valve install in my new home, which was requested by my lender. The plummer answered all my questions as he was working. All and all, the whole job was top notch. I was a little taken back by the price.

Description of Work: This service was excellent! Adam, the technician knew exactly what he was doing and was honest and trustworthy with his recommendations on how to resolve the gas leak. We decided to re-do the entire gas lines. He and his assitant were very professional and courteous. Their work was clean and tidy. They also gave my mother a senior discount; plus they took the coupon from Angies' list, as well. I would definitely use them again. I'm very grateful to have found them on Angie's list.

Description of Work: Came out to check out my water heater which was leaking and just looked at the water on the floor and proceeded to quote me $1800 for a new water heater and installation. Did not look at the water heater or inspect at all just said it was done and needed to be replaced.

Description of Work: Repaired broken water line. They were there on time and let me know what they needed to do to repair the line. As things changed, they kept me up-to-date with any changes. It was a long and messy repair, but the young man stuck with it til it was done right. A good team.
