Contractor had originally stated that entire job would only take one to two days but it took several days spread over the course of 3 to 4 weeks. Contractor was working other jobs in the interim. The quality of the new utility door installation was not satisfactory. The prehung door that he provided did not fit square and was much too tight to open and close easily. He performed some really coarse sanding to remove enough material to alleviate the tight fit but the finished job was not of a good quality. In addition, the adjustment of the existing exterior door fit was also less than satisfactory. He did reduce the door gap along the side satisfactorily but the gap at the top of the door was still to wide. Contractor was polite and professional and his bid was relatively reasonable.
Description of Work: Remove and replace 8 each 4" X 8" X 8' patio beams which were provided by customer. Remove and replace two outside utility closet doors. Adjust fitting of existing exterior house door to reduce the air gaps around the door. Install masonite siding onto two sides of a roof clearstory structure. Install a new corbel on a patio post.
