Pioneer Plumbing was a joy to work with every step of the way. They explained exactly what to expect and did everything when they said they would do it. Their price was below their competition. The Tucson building inspector likes them, Southwest Gas like them, and I loved the work they did. The estimator responded immediately to come to our house and look at the project. His estimate was ready in just a few hours, the construction permit prepared, and the crew started work the next day. I am not any kind of plumbing expert, but the lines and connections look great to me and easily passed inspection. The crew was careful with our old carpet and even older cat. Before they left one of the men came in with a spray cleaner and a soft clean rag and wiped down the inside of the water heater closet, the door frame and the door. The water heater closet looks better than it ever has. They were equally careful in the back yard and on the roof. I am amazed at their level of customer service. They were so darn nice we invited them to lunch, but they were so darn professional they politely declined. The whole process, from first finding the gas leak to having hot showers again, happened very quickly and I credit Pioneer Plumbing for the speed of the construction. This was the first time we have used Pioneer Plumbing and I know we will use them again if we ever need plumbing help.

Communication with PP was excellent before, during and after the job was complete. It took four full days to complete the work. Interior walls (on the back side of the baths) were opened up and new PEX pipes (& some copper) were run through the walls & crawl space to all locations. The workers were neat and cleaned up after each day's work. Tarps were placed on the areas where they walked & worked. We had one functional bath plus the kitchen until day four, when the 'cutover' was performed. Plaster dust was everywhere but this was to be expected. There were a few challenges in routing the new pipes (the kitchen) but the head plumber (Carlos) thought outside the box and figured things out... The drywall repair was not part of this job but was done by another contractor. Without hesitation, I would use Pioneer Plumbing for additional plumbing work...

I called the day before and the scheduler set up the service call between 11 and 2. The tech called at 10:15 saying her was at my house which was problematic since I was not home. Normally I would have been tickled about an early arrival, but I had told the person who scheduled that I had a prior commitment in the AM. They replaced the defective tank with the same make and model which allowed a quick install since there was no major re-plumb of pipes needed. I thought the service was good, but the price probably $200-300 high. I will shop around more the next time.

The plumber arrived on schedule, found the leak right away and began the work. The repair took about 2 hours. He cut out the damaged pipe and replaced it. Everything was cleaned up nicely afterward.

We bought a townhome and remodeled the kitchen on a tight budget. Carlos found the old garbage disposal had a crack in the side which explained the water damage to the previous cabinets bottoms which is what precipitated the new cabinets. Also ,although the appliance were new and installed in Oct, 2012, the dishwasher installer used plastic hoses which he stripped in the process of installing. Carlos saw this and recommended using stainless steel hoses instead to prevent problems in the future. I also had them install new shut-off vlaves at the wall as a preventitve measure.. The guys were great, timely, professional and gave attention to detail. I appreciated the input on the job.They called when they were on their way which I greatly appreciated since I was working at home that afternoon. I used the Angie's list coupon.

Cassius arrived a little bit later than our scheduled time, but immediately got to work on all of the tasks. He too was friendly and efficient. I very much appreciated that he explained things without being condescending. He also seemed like a person who truly likes his work. I could see that he took a lot of pride in doing a good job - and rightly so. He took the time needed to do a good job, and yet accomplished everything in under a few hours. The result - no more leaks, a great new disposal and a great sense of relief! This is a company that obviously knows how to do things right. I plan to use Pioneer for a major remodel of my master bath - and will of course use them for any other plumbing work needed.

I was very impressed with both the logistics of the estimating process and the quality of the installation. PP made it very easy to work with them via email and phone. I was able to take a picture of the old water heater installation and text it to them for purposes of estimation. This saved me time and I did not have to wait at home for an estimate. The day of the install, I had a work emergency and just left the garage door open. They came and went with no hassle and when I returned home, I found a very professional job, including new flexible gas line and two new copper pipes. All work was neatly done and no mess in the garages. I would definitely hire them again.

I needed several minor bathroom plumbing jobs done, and it became urgent when the sink faucet started leaking uncontrollably. After attempting it myeslf, I realized I needed help, got this name from AL, and am so happy I did! They were very responsive to my needs as a retired person and the urgency of the situation. The workman was wonderful, efficient, very skilled, and considerate of being in someone's home space. From start to finish, they were all the things you hope for when you badly need a service. Thanks to Angie's List as well for making it possible to learn about a service provider before you take the scary leap of calling someone you have no information about! I would recommend Pioneer Plumbing to anyone I care about who needs plumbing services!

It went well - The plumber did not take his snake onto the roof as I have seen other companies do in the past. In fact, he said that's poor practice - it's how you end up with a black, gross mess in your tub (which I have had to clean up). I like that he did the job neatly.

Plumber arrived on time. Very polite & professional. Rated are very reasonable. I will use this company again, Gladly.

The sprayer on our faucet has been leaking for about 5 months. I have had numerous plumbers out to try and fix the leak or replace the sprayer. Unfortunately, the faucet has no obvious maker marking on it and no one was able to repair or suggest a replacement. We were ready to disconnect it. That is until I called Pioneer Plumbing (Angie's List). Donny came out to assess the situation and make his recommendations on what direction to proceed. After Donny did some research on the sprayer, he recommended Cassius come out for a service call. The appt was set for 2/14 between the hours of 12-3. Cassius called around 9 am to inform us he may be running late, we were very appreciative for the heads up. He called later to let us know he finished earlier than expected and was it ok to kept the original schedule. He was punctual, affable, professional and clean. Not only was he able to find the maker of the faucet he was able to fix the sprayer. All within the first hour. I would highly recommend Pioneer Plumbing, they are now our plumbers.

While we were replacing our dishwasher we noticed water leaking from the wall. After checking Angie's list I called Megan and got an appointment for later in the day.Jesse and his helper arrived on time and went right to work. After opening the drywall in the dishwasher opening he showed us where the leaks were and how many pieces of plastic pipe would need to be replaced. The best part was that Jesse was able to cut the pipe above the floor line and save us a major expense. A non reliable company might not have done that and made a big job for themselves. They had all the pieces on the truck and were done in just over an hour.Jesse made sure he did the least amount of damage to the drywall. Fast,Fair and Honest. NICE JOB.

Checked old water heater. Gave estimate for new water heater. Carlos adjusted the estimate when I explained two other estimates I had gotten. Checked with superviso4r, found I was on Angie's List, and gave us a good price. Performed the work quickly. Excellent workers.Performed the work quickly. Took out old water heater and hauled it away. Excellent workers. Carlos and Jesus. I watched them as they went through all the installation procedures and when asked, or even if not asked, they explained them. I left a message with their boss, Jim Foster, telling how excellent his service and his workers were.

Jessie did a great job unclogging the sink. He was here for quite awhile. He came in and spread a cloth in a kitchen in front of the sink to organize his tools. After he unclogged it, he ran something through it with a machine. He was just very, very thorough. I live alone and he was a very nice guy. He listened to me and talked to me.

Pioneer Plumbing was contacted to fix a leak in a water line for our pool auto fill line. We had a rapid response and a plumber came out to fix the line. The plumber was very good and completed the main part of the job in minimum time. He did not have a part available to complete the job but was able to stop the leak and restore water service to the house.The replacement part will be installed as soon as Pioneer Plumbing can get it in.The plumber was polite and seemed to be very knowledgeable.

Ray came to our assisted living home and immediately prioritized the job. Upon inspection found that the job entailed more repairs than were initially observed and worked efficiently to complete the job in the most cost effective manner. Extremely professional, courteous, and diligent.

Danny was prompt in meeting me and reviewing the job and returned the quote within 24 hours. They started the job 4 days after receipt of quote. 3 man crew showed up Monday morning to start work. Two started to install tankless water heater and removing the old water heater and the third jumped on removing the old two bowl sink. By noon the tankless water heater was up and running and the install was just fantastic also new cast iron single bowl sink was in and faucet plumbed and it came out just beautiful. In a couple of hours the new gas line for stove was plumbed and they were cleaning up. I supplied the sink and faucet Danny was just fine with that. All the work that was done is first rate and the crew was extremely fast and efficient.

I think they do an excellent job. I have been very pleased with their services all three times they have been out.

This is the second small job Pioneer has completed for me at short notice. From call to job completion was less than 24 hours. Jesse was very courteous and professional and ensured the job was completed to my satisfaction. I would call them again without a second thought.

Entire process was easy; diagnosis and repair were performed in a timely fashion.

They were punctual, clean, friendly, accommodating about scheduling the work, and extremely competent. In addition, Danny Perez, who worked up the estimate for us and coordinated the work, was very helpful with getting the permit in place for the water softener. Their work appears to be of excellent quality, and their price was better than fair - it was quite reasonable (they charged us $1000 less for the equipment and labor than another plumber wanted for labor alone!). I would have given them all-A perfect marks across the board, except for two minor issues. First, they did not go over the operation and routine care and feeding of the water softener or RO filter with us after the installation. They did make sure everything was working correctly, but they did not offer any instructions or ask if we had questions (like, "how do we tell when it needs more salt?"). Second, they pulled the fridge out to hook up the ice maker to the RO filter output, as we asked them to do. But, when they put the fridge back in, they pushed it into its alcove a bit too far so that one door does not open completely now; and the fridge is slightly out of level, left to right. It must be emphasized, though, that these are quite minor issues in an otherwise very positive experience. I will definitely use Pioneer for future plumbing needs.

He arrived and set up his equipment after he found the drain entrance . He used the snake to clear out the blockage.

The estimate was considerable higher than their competitor. Also the estimator just seemed so casual about the job. He didn't really exhibit any interest in actually looking around at the property and didn't point out any of the other issues I knew existed in the water closet which would need addressing to pass inspection. After getting estimates from a competitor that was very thorough, the choice was a no-brainer. I know a $4k job might not be a big deal to them, but 1) this is my home and 2) $4k is a whole lot of money for my family.

A cost estimate was provided by Steve on 11/6. After working with our insurance company, the job wasn't done until 11/29. The plumber and his helper arrived. I showed them where the leak detector had located the leak. The plumber explained the scope of work to me and how loud the saw would be as they cut through tile and slab. Then they brought their tools into the house. They started with the saw and cut through the tile and slab, removed a piece of concrete, chipped away at the tile, and eventually located the leak. They repair the leak. Put sand over the pipe. Mixed concrete by hand. Put the concrete into the area of the slap they had cut away. Placed boards I had lying around outside over the freshly poured concrete so my dog wouldn't walk in it. Cleaned the area, packed away their tools, and gave me the invoice. I called the Plumb Plumbing office with my credit card to pay. The plumber and his helper left my house.
