Cassius was the name of the plumber who came over. He called ahead as promised, showed up on time, analyzed the situation and what would be required to remedy it, and did the work within the quoted time and price range. Solid performance by a man and his employer; really instilled confidence in the job. Cassius had a great demeanor and was great to work with. I'll be hiring Pioneer Plumbing again, but hopefully not soon. No offense ......

I was pleasantly surprised that he was able to get through all of my wish list during the one visit. Another plumber had told me that he would not be able to replace the bathtub hardware without removing the shower tile, this plumber was able to do it without any damage to the tile.

Professionally. The service person was very familiar with all aspects, had the tools and needed fittings, carried out job in professional and timely manner (I was without water). Have used before and will use again.

They completely tore my front yard apart and replaced my water main. It took a day to get it done. About 6 guys came out and went underneath the concrete of my driveway instead of drilling through the concrete so they saved me a lot of money. Professional and my water pressure has never been better.

Well, why is it when something very important with every day living seems to break on a Week End? Never fails, a car to an appliance always stops working on a Saturday or Sunday ! I immediately went to Angie's List to find some help and found Pioneer and sent them a message about our "problem". We didn't just not have any hot water apparently it had been leaking for awhile. We had a strange odor coming from the back bedrooms, we checked them out for a possible gift brought in from one of our dogs but found nothing. I went further into one of the bedrooms and found water squishing up between my toes. We were in need of help asap. Our hot water heater & furnace/ac are located right in the middle of the house. Pioneer was soon to respond to our message and made arrangements to be out early Monday morning. They showed up on time, spent the day removing and installing hot water heater. Tech was courteous and very professional, easy to talk to. The overall price was really a shock, thought for sure it would cost more than $765.00. Very pleased with the outcome and expense. Highly recommend Pioneer Plumbing for all your plumbing needs. A++++ Business in Tucson. They also recommended a clean up service for all the water damage we had, DPS. I will add them to Angie's List with a recommendation.

We just moved into our new home which was built in 1967. It was the very first night in the house and after moving all of our possessions from the old house to the new house on a mid-July day, all we wanted to do was shower and collapse. Unfortunately after our daughter showered, the master bathroom shower started backing up. A friend's husband came over at 9:30 pm and tried to plunge the shower drains...to no avail. After a call to American Home Shield, we were assured a different plumbing company would be out "first thing" in the morning to snake out the line. The other company didn't show up until 10 am and after snaking both toilets, could not clear our line. They told us we needed to have accessible 'clean outs' and it would cost upwards of $1100. I called Pioneer (whose reviews were fantastic on Angie's List) and spoke with Betty. She calmed me down and got the map of our new home from the City, called back and told me we had clean outs and that Ray would be at our house first thing in the morning to solve the problem. Ray showed up at 8:05 am the next day and after a short time, found the main pipe to our home and was able to clear it. He also brought our clean outs up to code by bringing them up to ground level and making them accessible. While installing the new clean outs, he found a crack in the cast iron pipe. He answered all of our questions and was very clear that we would have to take care of replacing the pipe under the foundation of our home in the not too distant future. Ray was polite, professional, honest, and all around GREAT! I never once felt that I was being taken advantage of or that he was being anything but honest with me. From my conversation with Betty the day before to my interaction with Ray, our experience with Pioneer was outstanding. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber. In fact, we told our real estate agent about them so that she could use them with future clients.

Competitive, free, consultation & quote of a severely cracked drain pipe under our 1949 adobe house. Removed 40 ft of original castiron pipe from under the floor. They did this without having to cut the wood floors or walls - a HUGE plus!! They did a clean efficient job, even with me poking my nose in every step of the way trying to learn. Ray & his apprentice helped unveil many plumbing mysteries, an educating experience for this homeowner. My house didn't have a clean-out, they installed w/o extra charge and included a 100 ft snake job w/no extra charge because he said he'd do it during his original visit. These guys were in good spirits & worked well together. I appreciated their clean, experienced, & efficient repair solutions which greatly differed from the several other companies who quoted this project. In less time than anticipated, they had our plumbing in working condition again! Pioneer Plumbing was recommended to me by a colleague in addition to me finding them here on AngiesList. I am very satisfied & I can recommend them myself now. Thank you!

I had a great experience with Pioneer. I called early Monday morning and told Jim that the water company shut off my water at the meter because of a major leak in my line, so I needed someone to come out that day. He said they were booked up that morning but could have someone come out around noon. He called back a little while later and told me he was able to move around the schedule and could send someone out at 8 AM. Cassius was prompt and friendly. He found the leak right away and answered all my questions. He fixed the leak in less than an hour. I was happy with his work.

Went very well. It was in the exact spot that had been previously found and the plumber made a smaller hole than I expected in the slab and was able to fix the leak.

I think Angie’s List recommended them to me. They were punctual and professional, and they did a good job. They know what they are doing, and they are fairly reasonable and mid-range on their pricing.

Eric was very friendly and also very professional. He checked all kitchen and outdoor plumbing. H e adjusted and repaired some smaller problems we had. He gave us a prompt estimate on the installation of a higher standing toilet. Very good company. Eric is a very good plumber. We highly recommend Pioneer Plumbing !!

I selected Pioneer Plumbing based on Angie's List reviews; I was NOT disappointed. Danny totally understood my house project and suggested needed improvements rather than simply re-piping the polybutylene with Uponor AquaPEX. He knew the master shower was far from the water heater and recommended a recirculating heat pump to save precious water. Now I do not have to wait for water to warm in the shower. The water service was placed on the opposite side of the house avoiding tree roots in front. A tree root had earlier broken the main polybutylene line from the street to the house. Also it was much easier to place a new line rather than run under the driveway again. Competing bids were received for polybutylene re-pipe and were less costly, but without thought as suggested improvements. These bids did NOT include replacing the polybutylene water line from street to house. My project had to be delayed a month, and Danny was totally understanding and accommodated me at the last moment. Danny called Bostick Remodeling for drywall patching. They started on Friday and completed all patching on Saturday, which gave me time to paint the front bathroom before the toilet was reinstalled on Monday. I was real impressed with their speed and quality. Thank you Travis, Tom, and Dillon for accommodating our schedule. All workers from Pioneer Plumbing were professional as well, ensuring our health through the project. A well-done goes to Carlos, Eddie, Daniel, Aaron and Cassius. Added bonus: A separate water line was installed to feed the whole house humidifier. The initial one fed from atop the water heater. UPDATE: 5-19-2014. Carlos and Daniel returned today to replace the rubber gasket between tank and commode (which apparently failed during the toilet removal). This was done at no cost; I profusely thank them for their availability, and Danny for being so helpful. I will certainly call Pioneer Plumbing for future jobs.

They were excellent. I've referred them to 3 other people. They are the best service company I've used in my entire life. What I really liked about them was they gave me all of the options including possibly doing a "short term" repair that in the long term wasn't the best but would get me by. They were not condescending and took the time to explain everything. They came out the next day to do the replacement. The new water heater wouldn't fit where the old one was, but they made a point to get a replacement and get it installed the same day. I called them with questions a few days later. They were kind and answer my questions.

Plumber arrived later than expected so I called the receptionist and asked for his expected arrival time. She told me she would have let me known if I had given her the correct phone number the first time. She read the phone number she had on file for me and it is no where near what my cell phone number is, all seven digits were off. She tried to blame me because someone in her office couldn't take down a phone number correctly. Plumber gave me the same grief about me giving them a bad number when he showed up. 20 minutes and $98 + $29 for gas later, the plumber told me I should buy a new toilet. That's right $127 for him to come in for 20 minutes and tell me I should get a new toilet. i wouldn't have been annoyed if the woman I booked the appointment was upfront about the pricing to begin with. I admit I should have asked when I booked the appointment, this was an expensive mistake on my part.

Very friendly and professional serviceman by name of Cassius. Worked quickly and did exactly what was needed (and nothing more!). Showed how I could order the parts in the future to save cost.

He fixed my shower and also fixed my toilet that kept flushing in the middle of the night. He also fixed my leaky sink. They were a very nice company, very clean and professional. They were here on time and I appreciated their service.

These guys came within two hours of my call. They accurately diagnosed the problem and went right to work. They explained everything to me very well. Cleanup was perfect and the final bill was entirely reasonable. These guys are among the best contractors we have ever done business with.

I called on Monday to set up an appointment to get the new water heater, and they were able to come out Tuesday morning to do the job. They called 1/2 hour before they came, and arrived pretty much when they said they would. They were friendly and professional and got the job done in just about 2 hours, cleaned up after themselves, and took the time to explain the settings and how to maintain the new heater.

After a frustrating day of trying to force our toilets to drain using a plunger, only to have the waste water come up in the shower and bathtub, I called Pioneer Plumbing to ask for a service call. We had used Pioneer in the past to install a waste line access point in our front yard, and we were very pleased with every aspect of their service. It was mid morning when I called the Pioneer office to describe our problem, and the lady I spoke with told me that I could expect to have a service man come this afternoon. Shortly after I spoke with her I received a call from Eric Fahrmeyer, a Journeyman Plumber from Pioneer, who said he was on his way to our house. In less than an hour, Eric had opened the drain line and discovered the "root" of our problem: tree roots in the discharge line. He explained that what he did might not be a permanent cure, but I decided to "roll the dice" for now and see how long we can go without having the problem reoccur, rather than employing additional diagnostic steps such as using a camera inside the pipe. Maybe we'll never have a plumbing problem again, but if we do I'll certainly call Pioneer Plumbing and if possible I'll ask to have Eric Fahrmeyer do whatever work we need. Eric was polite, friendly and professional and I enjoyed talking with him. No need to shop around when you have somebody you can count on !

Awesome! First, someone always answers the phone - and they are pleasant! Major points for a real person. Second, they have been amazing to work with us and our tenants to schedule appointments, answer questions, email receipts, and even texting photos of the damage and repairs. They were on-time, careful, and tidy. We will not hesitate to call Pioneer Pluming as needed in the future and highly recommend the company.

I placed the call in the morning because the toilet and pipes were making a lot of noise while flushing. The technician was here within 1 hour had the parts replaced and cleaned up the area within 45 minutes. They were very professional and I would highly reccommend this company

He was on time and finished the job quickly, courteously, and expertly. I suppose $138 is a reasonable price for this house call. He did not try to sell us a new sink or faucet - appreciated - but he did promise to meet our second request for a quotation on installing a new sink, although we have yet received it about three weeks later. Overall, a very good experience and I would definitely contact them again for plumbing work.

The plumbers arrived on time and began work immediately. I helped do some digging the night before where the leak was found to help save costs. The job went smoothly and have no complaints. It would appear this company is deserving of their cumulative rating. Re: price .... it has to be notably inexpensive for me to award and A. I didn't feel their cost was out of line with existing rates.

Cassius came on a Sunday night within an hour of my initial call. My toilet was backed up and I was expecting company within a couple of hours. Cassius handled it with a professional attitude and corrected the problem in under an hour. I am so grateful to Pioneer Plumbing. We moved here 4 years ago and did not have a "go to plumber".
