Luna has been providing service for me for approximately 14 months and I trust them completely.

I had been having problems with my pool for 2 years. It was never quite clean, and some piece of my equipment was always needing a repair or replacement. I finally got fed up,fired Patio Pools and called Luna. What a difference. Yes, I had to spend some money to get everything corrected that Patio Pools had screwed up, but for the first time my pool is sparkling clean, all my equipment is working perfectly, and I'm no longer considering an order for a dump truck-full of dirt!

I have used them in the past. The person who owns it really cares and I use them monthly for service. I pay $75 per month and his repairs are fair. I will continue to use them in the future.

Justin arrived promptly as scheduled, assessed leak in bulkhead of pool filter unit, provided various options to repair/replace, including choice of purchasing equipment from him or on line. We settled on one option, agreed on a price and he completed the work in 7 days and billed me an amount that was slightly less than expected. Here's what was the best part - Luna pools accidently cracked the housing on my pool pump during assessment of leak. They replaced the pump with a brand new model (probably $200-$300 value) at no charge to me. You will not go wrong giving these guys your business. Sam was a skilled and honest repairman.

They are very prompt, do a really good job of cleaning the pool, and are very helpful when it comes to saving money on repairs.

I spoke with Sam on the phone. We made arrangements for him to come by later that same day. He called to say he was on his way and arrived shortly thereafter. Sam was friendly and professional. He completed the repair in a timely manner. I was very happy with his work and would definitely recommend Luna Pool Service to others. Luna does quality work at a fair price.

This company is so professional, so punctual, so responsive. It really couldn't be better. The owner, Justin, is so knowledgeable both about the chemistry involved and about the equipment. He really pays attention and each pool is treated differently. He really does like to have things go smoothly and he is really smart - so he knows which trees are going to drop what - and he gets to know what seasonal problems will occur - and he really keeps the pool (which has a lot of trees around it) looking sparkling. I have never in three years called him that he hasn't either picked up the phone immediately or returned the call within a couple hours. He's so responsible and really cares about his customers. He's so knowledgeable he's like a pool scientist. And I like all the people who work for him as well. For me Luna Pools is one of those rare happy experiences where somebody really does what they say they're going to do.

They were very good. The guy that came out was Sam and he was really nice. He came out on a really cold day, and it was starting to get dark but he just wouldn't quit till he got it done. It actually took them longer than their estimate but they just charged me what the estimate was. They couldn't have been nicer, especially Sam, and Justin as well.

It is a pool care system. We are new to having a pool and we just moved in. The pool started looking greenish and we were going to have Christmas at our house and we were concerned that it was not looking very pretty. We called and he came out very soon and was really nice. He walked us through the system and told us how it works and said not to pay him until he is done. He made a couple of trips back out and several phone calls with questions and stuff. The pool water looks beautiful and is crystal clear and he just did really well. He did great work and he was informative and nice. It is a mobile service. He said that he has different rates like winter and summer rates, but we paid $80. He cleaned everything and he went through the whole system and checked if the equipment was working properly. He did a lot and in fact it wasn’t only one trip. We tried to pay him when he left the first day and he wouldn’t take it. He said he wouldn’t take it till he is done and said when the pool is clean then he is done. He was so nice.

They were very professional and nice young men. I will use them again in the future.

After discovering, once again, that my pool and hot tub both had algae in them, I called my pool service company and they brushed me off by informing me that it was not the fault of their person who was supposed to be adding the appropriate chemicals each week. So I fired them, called Luna Solar and Justin and Dennis came out promptly, diagnosed the problem and began a new weekly chemical service at a lower cost than my previous company. Although I only hired them to test and add chemicals, like the previous company, they also backwash regularly and brush down any areas that need it. They are knowledgeable, professional and provide service that is far superior to what I was experiencing prior. And for less money!!

They charge $150 a month on that service. They trim buses and just do maintenance. They were extremely overpriced and the services were mediocre.

I purchased a short sale home where the pool was green and the pump would not stay primed after being off for a few minutes. Justin and his team were honest, upfront, and cost effective. They first came out and started to get the pool back in line chemically. Even without the pump running for a week the water still cleared up as they were showing up multiple times a week to take care of the water. The priming issue was very difficult to diagnose. First there were a couple apperaent air/water leaks which took some 0-rings to fix. Then a check valve was bad and needed to be replaced. This was a check valve mid way from the pool to the pump so it required some digging. Next the 90 degree elbow that was exposed after digging it up to replace the check valve was leaking so that was repaired. Finally a piece of PVC where it joined right be the pump needed to be repaired as well. All of this took time as it was fixing one area just to find another area that needed repair, but Justin and his crew never gave up. He is passionate about fixing issues and is honest in his dealings with his customers. And I am using his company as my pool cleaning service provider due to the great work and dedication that they have. I would recommend them to anyone who needs pool repair or general pool repair.

Upon the recommendation of our real estate agents, we had hired Patio Pools to inspect and maintain our pool, as the house we purchased in April was a foreclosure, and the pool was empty. Patio Pools is very expensive, and our experience has been that they are just not worth the higher cost/charges. They had to replace part of the backflow equipment as it had been damaged by the winter freeze earlier this year, and did a fair job on that. However, things began to slide, and one week, it was obvious to me that the pool cleaner didn't show up. Tthe date and time marked on the form kept in the box just happened to be the exact moment that I happened to open the box. I was hoping to talk to the guy to ask him if he would be able to remove some small pieces of stucco that had come off the house in a recent storm and blown into the pool on the steps. We were planning to have a birthday party for our son. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. The next week, I caught the pool cleaner hiting our house with pool net that was WAY TOO LONG to be used on our pool. The pool cleaner had mentioned to me a few weeks earlier that he paints houses ... kind of made me wonder if he was trying to PUSH our NEED to hire him. Anyway, I have been much happier with Luna. Justin comes across as being an honest, dependable guy. I don't mind paying him with a check, instead of with a credit card, and told him that if it will help him to keep his prices down, I'm all for it. Our pool is crystal clear, and I would rather pay $105/month as opposed to $130/month, thank you very much!

Luna came out on time, throughly looked over the pool and gave a bid. He was professional and seems honest... Another company came out, bid was extremely lower... after talking with 2nd company... he bid on a fixing a leak in the pipes. When we pointed out the filter he bent down and said... oh yea I missed that.... changed the estimate to be higher than Luna. We going in Luna as soon as I budget it in for NOv. as the bill is over 1,000.00

I called and made an appointment with them. He gave me a possible solution over the phone and said he would come out in the afternoon from 2:00 on. I gave him the gate code to the complex and I gave him phone number. I waited all day and about he never showed and never called to let me know he wasn’t coming.

After not receiving a call back from three other providers that had been recommended, Luna immediately returned my call, came out the same day to explain the problems, and gave me an estimate on the spot. Not only that, they returned the same day to start work. They returned twice a day for several days, then once a day for several more until the water was restored to it's proper condition. Justin and his staff are professional, yet friendly and personable, and willing to answer any questions without making you feel like an idiot for asking. They are also "on time", a rarity. The water is now in super condition, and I am one happy camper. I would highly recommend Luna to anyone. Needless to say, Justin now has the weekly contract.

They have done a very good job for me. They stay in contact and will call occasionally to see if I have any questions. They have been very reliable about coming out. It is the same person that comes out each time. I like the fact that he is willing to explain everything that he is doing, the types of things that could be a problem and various solutions to them. I pay $70 a month; from what I have seen, their prices are pretty typical. I would use them again in the future.

We moved into a home with a completely neglected, stagnant pool. It was green, partially evaporated, full of trash and dead mice, with badly calcified tile. I've never owned a pool before, and was afraid it would need a replastering; replastering companies were happy to give me estimates that put a large dent in our move-in budget. I called Justin for his opinion on the strength of List reviews, and was not disappointed. He was, first and foremost, very straightforward and honest, and was cautious about what he promised, without even a hint of hard sell. He said he could clean and recover the pool, that it would be completely usable, and that most stains would fade over time, and pointed out a few areas where there would be minor cosmetic damage to the plaster. He gave me quotes for cleaning the pool and for cleaning the tile. I asked about the new variable speed pumps, and we discussed the options-- he was very cautious about making claims, as he hadn't been able yet to personally verify their supposed benefits. I decided to invest about half of what a replastering would have cost in cleaning and a new variable speed pump and diatomaceous earth filter. ( I chose to clean the tiles myself.) I'm very happy with the result. My water is crystal clear, the stains are fading, I can circulate my pool water all day with much lower electricity usage than the old setup would have used in 8 hours, which is better for the pool balance, and Justin is working with me to minimize chemical usage. I've also hired him to service our pool while I learn. I would definitely recommend Justin and Luna Pool Service.

How can I comment when they returned my call?

Justin is more than responsive, gets back to you when he says he will. Actually told me I didn't need to acid wash the pool instead of agreeing to do it when we drained the pool. I think many others would have taken the opportunity to charge me for the service knowing I really didn't need it. The entire team was professional and courteous. They showed up when they said they would, the job took the time they estimated and Justin was always on top of the situation, even if he wasn't there some of the time. I used them based on other Angie's list recommendations since I wasn't happy with other services i had used in the past. You can't go wrong with Luna. I would recommend them highly

They have been fine so far. Their price is fine. They are punctual and professional.

I called Justin to ask him a question and he was very helpful. I would call them again in a heartbeat and I call them first anytime I need anything. I spent about $800 when they put in a new pump. They are very prompt, polite and flexible. They show up on time. If he does get delayed, he always calls and I appreciate that. They do good work. I haven’t had a problem with the work he has done for me. I was recovering from a shoulder surgery almost a year ago, last fall. So, I wasn’t able to clean my pool filters. It would be considered trivial for that kind of a business. So, I wasn’t expecting that he would actually come and do it, but he came out to do it. I thought that his cost was very reasonable and he didn’t take advantage of it or anything. If I had an emergency and if he wasn’t able to come out because of the actual things he was involved in, then that would be the only time I wouldn’t use him. Otherwise, I would certainly rearrange my schedule to use his services. I would recommend him to anyone. I have never been unhappy with his price and I have never used anybody else. I bought the pump and supplied the pump. He just told me which pump to get. He would have had a mark-up in the cost of the pump. It would have been necessary for him to do that. Based on his source of supply, I was able to save close to $100 by getting the pump off the internet myself. He had no problems with me doing that. He has pretty good ratings online. I made a good choice by using his services. I would definitely use his services in the future too.

Justin followed through as he offered and his work was as he described. I am very happy with him as his company's representative and with the quality of his work and his follow-through. As a result, I am having him maintain my pool through the busy season.
