Delivery Doctors Movers and Storage

Our three movers were very helpful. They arrived on time and worked surprisingly fast. They were able to move everything, drive it to the new house, and unload all of it in 2.5 hours. They were also very nice about making sure that the boxes and furniture were unloaded into the correct rooms. I told one of them that some boxes were marked "fragile," and he said not to worry because they treat everything as if it is fragile. I was very glad to see that was not just a line, but in fact exactly how they approached it. I would use them again.

Tony, Carlos, and Jacob were wonderful! The moved quickly with amazing attention to detail. They followed directions with precision. They moved furniture to my new home and several items to my office. They were able to achieve this in half a day. I didn't know what to expect after my last experience with a local moving company. I couldn't have been more pleased. The move went quickly without any complications or breakage. They set up 2 beds and placed all the furniture as requested. I will use them and only them in the future. You will not regret your decision to hire Delivery Doctors.

They gave me a 3 man team and a truck and moved in 5 hours, including travel time. They showed up on time, they were polite, they did the job, they were fast and I would recommend them to other people. I had shopped around and they came in with the best price, they didn't break anything and they were very responsive.

The movers arrived promptly to pack our belongings on June 3. The packing seemed to be going well, but just after they said they were done packing and left our house, I noticed they didn't pack many of the items in our kitchen. I phoned the company, and they said they were not responsible for this. I had to pack and move many things myself that I paid the company to move. The house in Tucson had been sold, so when our real estate agent arrived at our house the next day to walk through it with the new owners, prior to signing the sales contract, she noticed that the house was flooded. The Delivery Doctors packers had left the faucet from our washing machine on when they disconnected it, and allowed it to flood our house. When I called the company, they also rejected any responsibility in this fiasco, and my husband and I had to pay a cleaning service to repair the water damage. I would never, under any circumstances, recommend Delivery Doctors Movers to anyone, and I have been extremely disappointed with their service.

It went very smoothly. Only took them 4 hours. 3 guys insted of 2 and the rate is very good. Used an Angie's List coupo which saved them money. professional, arrived on time. They were really careful when moving furniture. Used protection layers when moving. Only thing that they were unhappy about about was a small amount of damage, but didn't notice until later. Overall I am happy with their service

I originally scheduled the move for 4/11, but a small delay in finalizing purchase of the home required a 1-day delay in the move. Fortunately, Delivery Doctors was able to accomodate the change in date on short notice. They arrived on time at 7:30AM on Fri, 4/12, at the storage facility. They loaded the contents of the storage bin in about 35 minutes. Most of the materials were in boxes. They then proceeded to our new home. They unloaded the contents into the home, placing items as we requested, in about 90 minutes. They were careful and courteous and accomodated "wait, not there, over there instead" kind of instructions with no problem. They presented the bill for payment as expected at the conclusion of the work. My opinion is that this was a relatively easy move and that the Delivery Doctors did a fine job.

When we moved our items to storage with Delivery Doctors the first time, in June 2011, we had a fantastic experience. When we moved our items out of storage and into a new home, in February 2012, we had a terrible experience. First the movers we requested were not available that day (one left the company, two were off and one was on another job). The four movers we were given were at the wrong storage place to start with, making them 1 hour late to start. They loaded everything in half the time it took the other movers to unload the last time. They were much faster because they were not careful at all. The last movers had taken time to wrap and secure all of our times before they put them in storage. These movers did not bother to wrap any of the furniture we had in our apartment that was also being moved. I had to ask them to wrap our mattress at least. They did not have the supplies to bag it, like the other movers had, so they just put plastic wrap around it. They chipped many of the furniture by not wrapping them when they put them in the delivery trucks. One of the bookcases fell apart because they didn't wrap it to secure the shelves and they all fell out. They broke a lampshade when unloading. I had to ask them to put down protection for the doorways, otherwise they would have continued to damage the thresholds of the new house. Although the boxes were clearly labeled, we found boxes in the wrong rooms. Because they did not clean their hands often enough, there were black marks on our walls when they touched them, or on the furniture. They also smelled strongly of smoke, which lingered even after they left. The move was much faster than moving the same amount of furniture had been before, mostly because they were careless with handling. I would have happily paid much more if they had taken longer and better care with our items. If we had the same movers as we did last year, we would have been much more satisfied and I would have recommended them to everyone. I'm just thankful I don't have to move again soon! One small point in their favor was that they did take the lampshade for repair and it was returned to us.

Make sure that you schedule plenty of time with them so that they do not get into a rush. Quality of work was very good.

Once I reserved the appointment time, the office called back twice to confirm. Truck showed up right on time, and after I walked them through the house to show them what we being moved, they got right down to work and hustled. They moved really fast, sometimes running from the truck to the house and back, and packed the truck tight enough that they fit everything in one trip. It only took 4 hours from the time they arrived until the time they had everything unloaded at my new place. (properties were only about 10 minutes away.) They wrapped most furniture in plastic before putting it only the truck, and used furniture pads when placing items in the truck. Professional, reasonable and fast. Would use again!

Excellent. Lars and his helper showed up at the time promised and unloaded the truck. At the time it was raining and they were careful not to track in mud etc on the carpets. They were quick and efficient with no lost time. Furniture was placed where we requested and any items that were taken apart were put back together without problem. The truck was unloaded in 2 hours. They were courteous, professional and hard working and represented their company well. I would use them again and will recommend Delivery Doctors to my friends and family.

Terrific experience. Our crew (Jorge, Sam, Noa) were fast, efficient, had positive attitude. They arrived on time. Crew leader ( Jorge) explained process and charges. They made moving easy.

Even after reading the reviews of others that have used Delivery Doctors, I must admit that I was a bit skeptical about the glowing praise Delivery Doctors received. When I called, the collegial person I spoke with listened to the three-part plan I had for moving a heavy couch from some friends' home to mine, moving existing couches as needed in each home, and delivering my old couch to Casa de las Ninos. I did provide a map of sorts to my friends' house, which is at the end of a series paved, slightly paved, and then dirt streets in the Tucson Mountains west of town. She assured me that the movers would be at my friends' house by 7:45 a.m. I was still skeptical. You could literally have knocked me over with a feather when the movers showed up on my doorstep about 8:20. Thinking they must have forgotten to move the second couch at my friends' home, I asked if they had in fact moved the couch out of storage and back into their living room. I was assured that they had done so. The movers then took my existing couch outside and brought the new couch in, reassembled it, and loaded my old couch into their truck. Off they went in their truck to the donation center with my old couch, and it was barely 8:40. The price was eminently affordable, which is an additional plus. Having waited (and wasted) hours on end waiting for maintenance personnel, delivery personnel, and all manner of other people that said "I'll be there between X and Y" and then either didn't show up at all or showed up hours late, I couldn't believe Delivery Doctors did what they were asked to do at the time they were supposed to do it, and were cheerful as well. I owe you a debt of gratitude and will use and recommend your services again and again. P.S. When I checked with my friends to make sure everything had been done to their satisfaction at their house, they happily reported that the movers had been right on time, were very conscientious, careful and unobtrusive as possible while moving the massive couches,

The scheduling was a bit complicated, and Erin in the office was very flexible. I used my Angie's list coupon. The crew, headed by Lars, arrived on time, loaded and unloaded everything carefully and professionally. I would definitely use them if I ever have to move again.

Arrived on time and were very pleasant and professional. Gave us a quote by phone, so there were no surprises when they were done. Nothing was broken or scratched. Once moved, they arranged and rearranged the furniture until we were satisfied.

We contracted with the Delivery Doctors to unload a 26 ft. truck that we drove to a new home. They called several times in advance of our appointment to verify that times and dates were accurate and they arrived exactly on time the morning of the unloading. 2 days earlier we had discovered that the size of our truck was going to change and they quickly adjusted the number of men that they were using for the job. We appreciated the fact that they worked with our changes and there was no delay in service. The gentlemen who came to our home were very friendly and professional. They worked hard to unload the truck and deliver the boxes where we wanted them without any wasted time. I would definitely recommend Delivery Doctors!

They were early so that was a plus as I was limited for time. They blanketed and wrapped the antique furniture and made sure to point out the existing dings and such. When it was delivered they checked for new dings--there was NOT a single one. I would recommend them to anyone and I will use them again in the future.

The crew of three arrived promptly and expertly loaded living room and dining room furniture, six bookcases and an old iron bed. Everything was carefully handled. After a short trip to our new home, they unloaded with as much efficiency and care placing furniture as requested. I definitely plan on using them again!

On the other moves we used one of the "D" companies on this list, and this time we chose Delivery Doctors. What a difference!!!!! The young lady who took our initial request to schedule a move was cordial, competent, and professional. Another young lady checked with us as the moving date approached. We never worried about them coming to move us, but, as all people in this situation, we wondered if we would be ready. On November 30th, the moving day arrived. Three younger, energetic movers came to our home ready for the job. The assessed the situation of moving furniture and too many book boxes (we're both retired professors) and got to work. They never made a mistake about what went and what stayed. And, they had the truck loaded at 9:45, they arrived at 7:45. This was a four bedroom house. I picked up some odds and ends and started to the new house where my partner was with the cats. I didn't get half-way past town, when my partner called and said, "They're here and they are unloading. Where are you?" We were thrilled that they were so prompt, so quick and so efficient. They unlike other movers (i.e. the D movers on the Tucson List), they looked at our message about where each box should go in the new house and that is were it was placed. When they were puzzled about where to take something they asked. The were cordial and quite fun, making jokes and comments throughout the move. When i arrived in my Rav 4 one of the young men offered to carry a large box from my car to the house in addition to the work he was doing unloading the truck. I was amazed and these guys reinstated our faith that there are moving companies out there that want to make the move easier and more realistically priced for the people making the move. I willingly tipped each of the young men extra. If you must move...hire Delivery Doctors...they're the best. I

Better than expected, considering we had never before used such a service. Delivery Doctors came recommended by our security service as well as Angie's List. We would not hesitate to call on the service again.

I called this company because I really wasn't that happy with an experience from another company on a different truck full of furniture. Three guys showed up just exactly on time and were very polite. They got right on the job and made very sure that everything was put exactly where I wanted it. They were careful with all of my belongings .They even put up with my "ahh, no put it in here instead" because I had a hard time deciding where some of the bigger pieces should go. They made very sure I was happy with the whole job before they left and they also kept track of the time for me.

It took them only an hour and fifteen minutes, it was $157, which included $70 for the truck, $70 for two men and it was prorated every fifteen minutes after that. They were very efficient and on time. They were very concerned about the placement of the furniture. They were in and out; there was no wasting time or anything else.

I contacted Delivery Doctors to move my 10x15 storage unit to my home. They informed me of the costs and I agreed. The storage unit was about 20 miles away. We scheduled Delivery Doctors to come the next day at 8AM. When I arrived at the storage business 10 minutes early, Steve and Anastasio were there waiting for me. They had all the right moving tools and tricks. They worked without breaks or much completed the work in about 3 hours. I let them do all the work and was able to leave them alone while I ran a couple errands. Overall, they were a real pleasure to work with.
