"WOLFF MECHANICAL IS CONTACTING HIM REGARDING THIS CHARGE. APPARENTLY THE TECH ORIGINALLY QUOTED A FIGURE OF ABOUT $400. WHICH WAS IN ACCURATE HE DID NOT LOOK AT HIS PRICE BOOK. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN $478. PLUS A DIAGNOSTIC OF $59. SO HE WAS CHARGED THE CORRECT PRICE ALTHOUGH IT IS OUR POLICY THAT TECHS QUOTE ACTUAL PRICES OUT OF THEIR BOOKS PRIOR TO DOING REPAIRS, THIS TECH DID NOT FOLLOW PROCEDURE. WE ARE CURRENTLY REFUNDING HIM THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WHAT HE WAS CHARGED AND WHAT HE WAS QUOTED. OUR TECH MADE A MISTAKE AND WE STAND BEHIND THE PRICE HE GAVE THE CUSTOMER IN THE FIRST PLACE SO THE CUSTOMER IS RECEIVING A REFUND. I JUST WOULD HAVE LIKED HIM TO CONTACT ME AS SOON AS THIS HAPPENED AND I COULD HAVE FIXED IT SOONER."

"IN RESPONSE TO THE MEMBER'S COMMENT. THE MEMBER ALSO FILED A COMPLAINT WITH BBB WHICH HAS BEEN DISMISSED. HIS COMPLAINT WITH BBB SHOWS DIFFERENT TIMES AND DIFFERENT DATES THAN HIS COMPLAINT HERE ON THIS SITE. THE MEMBER CALLED IN ON SUNDAY 3:20 PM TO OUR ANSWERING SERVICE THIS IS VERIFIED IN WRITING FROM THE ANSWERING SERVICE. A TECHNICAN ON CALL RETURNED THE CALL AT 4:00 PM. THE TECHNICAN EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT ALL THE TECHS WERE BOOKED WITH CALLS UNTIL DARK BUT THAT THE OFFICE WOULD SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT ON MONDAY 6/19 IN THE MORNING. OUR GUARANTEE IS THAT WE WILL BE OUT AT YOUR HOME WITHIN 24 HOURS OF WHEN YOU CALL. THE MEMBER WOULD HAVE BEEN ON OUR SCHEDULE FOR MONDAY MORNING HAD HE CHOSE TO DO BUSINESS WITH US. WHEN THE TECHNICIAN TOLD HIM WE COULD NOT COME OUT SUNDAY NIGHT HE CHOSE TO CALL ANOTHER COMPANY. OSHA DOES NOT ALLOW US TO HAVE TECHNICANS WORKING ON ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT IN THE DARK, THIS IS UNSAFE. CONSIDERING HOW BUSY IT HAS BEEN THIS SUMMER OUR RESPONSE TIME HAS BEEN SAME DAY OR NEXT MORNING FOR MOST OF THE INCOMING CALLS. WE ARE ALSO UPDATING MUCH OF OUR ADVERTISING RIGHT NOW AND GUARANTEE WILL BE REMOVED IN FUTURE ADVERTISING, ALTHOUGH WE WILL ALWAYS OFFER SAME DAY SERVICE. PHONE BOOKS ARE ONLY PRINTED ONCE PER YEAR SO UNTIL THEY RENEW THERE IS NO CHANGING THEM. WE DO APOLOGIZE TO THE MEMBER AS HE SEEMS TO HAVE MISUNDERSTOOD OUR ADVERTISING.
