Darold arrived within the quoted time frame, inspected our 13-yr-old heat pump unit on the roof, came back in to tell us what, if any, problems we may have, & provided a system summary of what he checked & what he found that needed repair. Thankfully, it was just a seal between an elbow joint to the unit that needed to be re-sealed which we approved. The technician was very pleasant & considerate, even putting paper booties on his work shoes before entering our home. He took pictures of the few problems he found & showed them to us, explaining what would result if we didn't repair them. Other than the re-seal, nothing else needed immediate attention. (Whew! What a relief!) We first began using AHR Mechanical in 2005. After using a small one-man business prior to AHR, I was taken aback by AHR's prices until the owner Jerry explained that they were not the lowest nor the highest, but the quality & service were top-notch. After all these years, AHR has proved itself many times over. They hire personable & knowledgeable technicians whom I trust to tell me the truth & not sell something that doesn't need to be done.

I would say that AHR Mechanical is reliable. They do a good job. The servicemen were on time and were efficient.

I had very old heat pumps that were badly in need of replacing. Mike from AHR came out and was incredibly friendly and I could tell he knew what he was talking about. This is a guy who has been doing this a long time and has a passion for doing things right. After reviewing all my options with me I chose to have them install two, 3-ton, Bryant 2-stage heat pumps (and matching air handlers). The work took just under 2 days to complete and the AHR team was amazing! Not only were they all very friendly and knowledgable, but they took care to make sure they didn't make a mess and cleaned up after themselves. Everything was included in the price (all the way down to the thermostats)....no gotchas at the end! They even filled out the APS rebate forms for me! When Mike first came out, I had mentioned just how noisy the old units were. (They were SO loud it was unbearable. When making important phone calls, I would turn off the air.) So without prompting from me, they went to extra lengths to make sure that the install of the new system was as quiet as possible (on top of newer systems being naturally quieter). Let me tell you, these units are whisper quiet. At full speed I have to feel the air to even know they're running...they are so amazing. Thanks Mike and AHR for doing an amazing job.
