Next Tuesday (day 9) they call to arrange to have the window installed: Thursday between 7 and 11am. OK, that's great. The next day someone else calls me to tell me that my order is backordered and someone will call me in about 48 hours to schedule installation. Does this mean the installation scheduled for tomorrow morning is off, I ask (after having already arranged to have someone cover the kids getting dropped off and rearranging a meeting, etc.)? Yep.
Six days later (day 15) I get a call indicating that they should receive the window on Wednesday and be out to do the work between 11-4 on Thursday. Tech comes out on Thursday?friendly and professional. It requires that I end up removing (cutting off as it was frozen) the soap dispenser on the sink, but these things happen.
In the end, it all worked out, but 18 days and missed signals made this way more of a pain than it should have been. Don?t mind
paying well for good service, but this just ended up eating too much of my time. I can only imagine it would have been far longer if I hadn?t had a completely flexible schedule over these three weeks.
Good - replacement was good and technician knew what he was doing.
Poor - Estimator took the day off when I was supposed to get my estimate and no one contacted me. When I called, they did sent the technician out within a few hours to provide an estimate.
I asked if there was an Angies' list discount when the window was measured and was told no. This listing has $25 off so I lost my discount!
