My home warranty company sent Speedy Air out to evaluate my A/C unit as it was broken down. Speedy came out and did the Diagonstic and suggested that I get a buy out from my home warranty company as I had numerous unrepairable leaks on the inner coil. Well from there the tech said when he got to the office he would submit the paperwork and the warrant company would contact me. 7 days later I had heard nothing so I called the warranty company and they informed me that they had no report, I wanted on hold as they contacted Speedy Air and speedy confirmed that they would send the paperwork in right away. Well 8 days later still haven't heard anything so I called my warranty company again, and Speedy Air has still yet to send in any paperwork or confirmation that they had even been to my house. And again my home warranty company called Speedy Air, while I stayed on hold no less, and Speedy again said they would send the neccessary information in. I didn't take any chances and I called again this morning and Speedy has still not set in my work order information into my home warrant company. I sat on hold again while another customer service rep called Speedy and told them of the multiple requests for the paperwork so they could authorize a buy out of my old system. It's now July 31st and my unit went down July 14th, I'm not sure how Speedy is still in business with this type of serivce and how warranty companies feel it appropriate to suggest them as reliable service. *UPDATE* I called again today to my home warranty company and they still have not recieved paper work from Speedy Air. I also have tried placing calls into Speedy Air personally and have sat on Hold for almost 10 mins now never speaking to anyone just listening to their hold music. Looks like I might be going to go to the channel 12 new watchdog website and submitting the business practices of Speedy Air to local news so everyone know that this company doesn't seem to want to work well with others!

My home warranty company referred me to Speedy Air to fix my AC, and I got nothing but the run around and the worst service ever from these people. My AC brok on the afternoon of Monday, July 1st. Because they were overly "busy" they could not get to me until Tuesday night even though they first told me Tuesday afternoon. They never showed up or bothered to call as I sat there waiting in the 100 degree temps of my house. Then they were supposed to show up Thursday night. Again, they never showed up, but this time they called with a BS excuse that they were understaffed. That's not my problem. They wanted to put me off until Friday!! In the meantime, me and my three dogs had been displaced from my house which is uninhabitable to a hotel room at my expense! They finally showed up on the 4th to repair my AC after ruining my holiday week. I had thought their nightmare of service was over, but no. I had paid them via check on the date of service, yet they claimed to the warranty company that I did not pay them at all because they lost my check! The warranty company sent me an invoice for the amount, and I paid it via phone. Speedy Air agreed via e-mail that they would not cash the check if they found it, as they would then be overpaid. They did the complete opposite and now have been paid twice and they overcharged me by $4 to begin with!!! I would not recommend these incompetent trust worthy people to anyone and want my $ back that they have been overpaid immediately.

I'm on day 5 of no air, and the only reason this company was used was because of my home warranty company. Was told I needed a new compressor, and my appointment was 11-1 yesterday (Tuesday). At 1:30 I called to check the status, and at that point was told I was on the schedule for Wednesday morning. I questioned it, and was then told that one of their tech's got hurt and so people's appointments got changed (no call?). When I asked for a manager, she told me that there was a glitch in the computer system and I was actually on the schedule for Tuesday from 1-5, and that I was the next appointment and would have service within the hour. 1.5 hours later I called back and they said they were trying to change things around to get me in and that I'd get a call back 5 minutes later. 1 hour and no phone call later, I called back and was put on hold... after 20 minutes on hold I again called back, and was finally told that the guy was coming out soon. Well, he finally got to my house at 5:30 and 'fixed' it, but by 830 my house was 95 degrees so I stayed at a hotel. When I got home after work today my house was still 93 degrees, and when I called to complain I had a very rude conversation with their employee. It's now 9:15 (I called at 6), and still no word on if/when I'm getting service, and I'm leaving the country tomorrow for 2 weeks. NEVER AGAIN will I use Speedy Air... I'd rather pay the $1200 and not use the company my warranty company recommends... This has been a terrible experience and I still have no air conditioning...
