Had a family gathering at my house on a Sunday and noticed our downstairs A/C unit struggling to keep up. Called Sterling Air that same night after finding them on Angie's List and spoke with Anastasia. She was very courteous and professional and got me an appointment for first thing in the morning the next day. Kevin showed up just when he was scheduled and had even called me when he was 15 minutes out. Before taking anything off of his truck and took a couple of minutes to discuss the issue I was having. He then checked and cleaned my outdoor condenser units and checked the unit up in the attic. Turns out there was nothing wrong with the system and he pointed out the factors that caused the unit to struggle (the amount of people we had over, the gas stove that was running for 5 hours that day, and the fact that the units were the builder original). I was very impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and the fact that he never tried to upsell me anything. He mentioned that he noticed the units were installed in 2006 and really shouldn't give me much issue and were running well even if they aren't the top of the line. He really gave me peace of mind that my units are working fine (although they do have their limitations) and I was very pleased that he didn't try to sell me a service plan or anything I didn't need (which I see with some companies even here on Angie's List. He even cleaned the coils on both of the units as they were a little dirty and he cleaned up thoroughly after coming down from the attic. I would definitely recommend Sterling Air to anyone with any A/C issues as you can be sure they are honest, professional, and very friendly.

It when excellent... and we couldn't possibly say more about Sterling and Chris.. as they called at least 3 times since Sunday to make sure everything is good to go.. Everyone in a while you run into a company and guys like Chris who are true tradesman, are concerned about the quality of their work and exemplify what true customer service is all about. Scheduling was excellent. They were easy to work with. Reno came out and explained everything clearly and showed me how to set the thermostats and went out of his way to go over things such as filter sizes.

Once Chris figured it out, he quickly resolved the issue.. and the water drained from the unit with no more leaking, then we checked the other lines as well, as did an excellent job checking our air handlers, but condensor units outside as well. Chis is a true professional, who made both of us laugh and feel much better about what had just happened. We looking for a good AC tech for a long time and i glad we were lucky enough to have chris on call, when this happened.. as he and Sterling Services will have out business from now on. One thing I truly liked and appreciated, is that we wasn't there to upsell anything.. He was truly honest and told only the facts.. and that is completely reflective of a good company, as they don't have their employees as their main sales representatives.

We purchased a $59 A/C inspection deal through Angie's list. We are more than pleased with the results. Chris was the one who came out to do the job and he was excellent. He was thorough and friendly and went through every detail. We thought that the inexpensive $59 deal might just be a way for the company to come out and tell us we needed to spend a lot of money to fix something. It was quite the opposite. Excellent response to our call for service. The service tech, Chris Deela was at our home within a few hours. He was friendly and professional. Chris replaced the faulty capacitor. The service charge was within reason. We would not hesitate to recommend Sterling Services. Yes...I am keeping their business card handy!

It was a good experience. Everything is working fine. The technician was honest. Scheduling was fine and they responded very quickly.

It went well, Jeff was great, he made the trip out to the address 3 times and communicated with me all through the process. The only reason I give a B for the price was that the coolers are 2 yrs old but needed new motor and I didn't expect to pay as much as I did. It was not Sterling's fault.

This company was fabulous! They were the only people that would even answer there phones. I tried to get several companies to come out and nobody would even call me back. They even showed up the same day I called! Price was more than fair. Chris changed out the capacitor. He was fast, efficient and really a nice and funny guy to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I found Sterling Services on Angie's List and decided to try them out for their HVAC Service plan. They came out and completed the first AC tune-up and I could not be happier with their service. David was very informative, professional and went above and beyond to address any and all issues I had. He did a thorough check-up on the unit and ended up cleaning the coil and re-running a pipe for a very reasonable fee. At my request, he also checked out and adjusted all the vents throughout the house, made recommendations on how to improve the air flow and provided estimates for further improvements. Very great to work with and I look forward to working with them as part of my annual maintenance plan.

Dave did a great job. He explained everything he was going to do before doing it. He answered all my questions and was very professional. I would highly recommend Sterling Services.

Scheduler Kendra was very responsive and courteous and was able to set up an appointment for service early the next day. AC Tech Reno Smith arrived at the time promised and performed a complete inspection. He identified the problems, contacted the manufacturers to verify warranties, picked up the parts needed to complete the job the next day starting 7AM per my request. He finished the work an hour earlier than originally estimated. He was able to answer all of my questions about system repair, maintenance and costs. I could not be more pleased with his professionalism and follow-thru.

It was fine. They gave us a clean bill of health. They were on time. The price was good.

Reno Smith was very professional. He explained everything he was doing. He answered my questions. He washed the Unit and checked everything. Showed me it was low on coolant. He added some and said we needed to watch for a leak. I was very pleased with his pleasant demeanor even though it was super hot. We also discussed options for later.

They were great. They are punctual, if you call them, they answer you right away, and we have never had any trouble with them. They are also really easy to schedule with and charge a good price.

David was excellent in customer service! He evaluated what work needed to be done and provided a good estimate. He was professional, understanding and efficient with his time. After I purchased additional insulation for the roof, he installed it at no charge. Total cost for the work included a 2-year service plan. Unfortunately, we were not pleased at all with the plumbing inspection that was included in the service plan. As far as I know, the inspector didn't provide the water heater flush and refill. He mentioned some repairs, but did not provide a quote for that work. He also appeared to be pushing the purchase a new water heater and disposal. In the inspection, he did not find leak under the kitchen sink and at the faucet, though they were pretty obvious. However, please remember how satisfied were with David's air conditioning work. He left nothing to be desired. Additionally, he purchased a box full of the 14 x 14 filters needed for the air intake in the bedroom. I was only able to find 12 x 12. We would highly recommend Sterling air condition work.

Though I probably could have received this service cheaper I find that Sterling is very professional and stands behind it's work and does an outstanding job. I would rather pay a little more and get quality products and services. I've extended my contract with them due to this and would (and have) recommended them to others.

Anastasia emailed me to set up an appointment within an hour of my purchase of a Best Deal coupon. Kevin called me 30 mins prior to our appointment time to let me know he was on his way and on time. He completed the work quickly and efficiently, and he patiently answered all my questions and explained everything he discovered while doing his inspection. I received a discount on the parts that were needed to optimize operation of my A/C unit, and he left me with written documentation of everything he did. I highly recommend Sterling Services, and will use them in the future! (Kevin told me that they also do plumbing services.)

First, I was pleased I was able to purchase the coupon to check all 3 AC units for the same price. It seems most of the companies will give a coupon for the first unit, but any others will be charged at full price. The technician David was very punctual. The first two units he checked were fine. The third unit was low on freon. David did his troubleshooting and found that the coil was leaking. He was very good about showing me what he had found and explained my options. He was able to stay for the afternoon to put in a new coil. He also found some insulation that had come loose and a gas line that was loose. He fixed these problems at no charge. This was my first experience with Sterling Svcs, and I think they are now my Ac experts.
