Sterling Services

All went well. Chuck called before he came to let us know he was on his way. He was very conscientious and attentive to the maintenance of these units. We had thought that one had gone out and that is the reason we called, but it started working again and was found to be OK.

JD from Sterling Services provided excellent service. He called to advise he was on his way, arrived exactly on time and was very courteous and professional. It was a very comprehensive review/maintenance of my air conditioner and, after finishing that, he checked on and drained my solar hot water tank. I definitely will use Sterling Services for any future air conditioning, solar or plumbing needs. Thank you Angie's list for this referral.

Technician discovered that one of our capacitors was going bad and I told him we had a warranty. Sterling does not have an agreement with the manufacturer of my A/C but they replaced the capacitor just the same under the warranty. This was very good customer service, and the A/C has been working great since their visit. I will definitely use them again.

They contacted me just a few minutes after booking the service on Angie's List, and we set up a time for an appointment. They called a few minutes before arriving, and got right to work. Luckily, everything was good with my A/C unit and I'm ready for summer. I would absolutely recommend them. I'll plan on using them again to check on the A/C next year too.

Decided not use the service but they did send me an email very quickly after my purchase.

This is the second year we have had Sterling Services check our A/C units before the heat arrives. We requested Kevin to service them again this year. Kevin is prompt, friendly and efficient. He does what he is supposed to do, does it well the first time. We will call Sterling Services again when the need arises.

Michael from the plumbing division did an excellent job. He is very knowledgeable and his installation was very impressive. He obviously cares about his work. This is a ten-year-old home with a basement sump system that serves a downstairs bathroom. I added the sump pit alarm for extra peace of mind--a big improvement over the original builder design. The old system was leaking at a loose fitting downstream of the pump. Sterling Services' prices for the materials (pump, alarm and valves) seemed on the high side. I didn't get competitive bids because of excellent reviews on this site--also a recommendation from a neighbor. Overall I feel I got my money's worth due to the convenience of same-day service and quality of workmanship. I was impressed enough to hire them to come back and work on my HVAC system.

I have two air-conditioners at my house, both over 18 years old and acting rather finicky. I knew I needed to get them checked out. After reading all the great reviews here on Angie's list, I decided to go with Sterling Services for their $59 special .... 53 point inspection and tune-up per unit. When I called, I was pleasantly surprised when they told me that through SRP they were running a special so it was just $29 per unit, not $59. Nice way to start with this company! She fit me in right away and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Chuck arrived right on time; he was extremely professional, helpful and friendly. He inspected and tuned up both units and even cheerfully replaced the air filters for me when I asked. I was worried (considering their age and the fact the last person I had look at the units tried to tell me the compressors were about shot and needed to be replaced for upwards of four thousand dollars) that this was going to be a very expensive day. Once again, I was pleasantly surprised when he told me there was just one thing on each unit needing replacement .. for a grand total of $349.65. He told me that though the units are old he thought I could get through another summer without replacing them yet! Wow! Made my day! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone wanting honest, prompt and professional service. Judi king

I wish that I could recall exactly what services were performed. Unfortunately I cannot due to the fact that I was on a business trip out of country and could not spend a lot of time focusing on that AC problem that my renters were experiencing. All I do know is that my renters said that the AC was acting unreliably and I knew I had to get someone out there to get it fixed for me. Sterling Services was offering an air conditioning inspection/tune up at that time. Perfect. I called, they answered. After everything was performed the AC unit was working well and, most importantly, my renters felt taken care of by me because I felt taken care of by Sterling Services. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to others in the area.

Had an 8 am appointment, received call 1/2 before. Arrived 10 minutes before appointment time. Kevin the service technician was friendly and informed me of exactly what he would be doing during the servicing process. Kevin was through and professional during the entire process. I will certainly use Sterling Service for any future needs. I highly recommend this company and Kevin.

I would recommend them over and over. They did such a great job. Came in took a look. Went on the roof, checked everything there. He had a few suggestions on reducing my SRP bill but over all my unit was great. He was not at all pushy or trying to have me pay for a service that i did not need. I was given some materials that goes over a service plan, very affordable but it was just a suggestion for future service. I was very satisfied and will be calling them if I need service in the future.

Everything went great. He asked why my system was in such good shape considering it's 9 years old. I never used it in the summers because I wasn't home to use it.

They fixed what was wrong with the air conditioner. They air conditioner was fine and I just felt I wasted the $59.

Sterling Services Air Conditioning came out to our residence on August 5th 2014 to perform a A/C check. Their representative was David Flores. David looked at the thermostat, looked at the outside unit as well as the attic unit. While he was here David changed our air filters and opened a vent in one of our bedrooms. David was a very nice representative for Sterling Services and we would gladly use Sterling again when the need comes.

I was really impressed with the service that I received. The person that came out was very knowledgeable and professional. The job took a little longer than we anticipated and he continued to work until almost 9:00pm. Way above and beyond the call of duty. The service person explained what the problem was in general terms that I could understand. The person was concerned about making sure that I received what I was looking for. I am going to use them and the future and I will recommend them to my friends.

Serviceman came on time, explained what he was doing, cleaned up before leaving, was very professional.

Reno came out to respond to a deal I had bought on Angie's List. He did a great job. They called yesterday to confirm the appointment; he told me the condition of all my equipment, and offered several service plans - with no pressure. He also recommended a CO2 monitor, which I did not purchase, but I did buy a year's service plan because I was impressed with his professionalism and customer service. I also asked him abut possibly replacing the unit - he gave me a ballpark figure and said they did do that work, and what brand they used. I have them filed away for future reference! I was very pleased.

The technician called first, was on time, and was professional. I especially appreciated his clear explanations and recommendations.

Chris came in and said we needed another return vent. The one we had was big enough for the old air cond but not for the new one. He explained to us exactly what we could do and didn't pressure us into anything.. He also gave us some great information regarding a situation we have on our daughters condo in Denver. His knowledge and professionalism was fantastic.. I will call them every time we have heating or cooling issues!!!!!

They were good, they responded quickly. The did a very good job.

At 3:30p, after the amazing rain event, we noticed that our A/C unit wasn't working. After making several calls, no one was available to come to the house to repair it for at least 24 hours. When I called Sterling, they were able to come to my home within 1 hours. Kevin showed up and was VERY pleasant. Went straight to work and found the issue. I had asked Kevin if he had time to add a 'hard start kit' to the A/C, in order to prolong its life and also ordered a routine twice a year service. I highly recommend Sterling for their professionalism and prompt service!

Showed up within the time frame stated, and did a very good job. One system was low on freon, and the technician added less than he estimated, and charged me only for what he used. He checked all parts of the system, was very thorough, and cleaned up after himself. System has been working nicely through the rest of the summer heat. Very happy with the service.

Daniel arrived on Sunday morning at our request and checked the entire AC system which had been down for three days and and had work performed by previous tech 2 visits. He determined a leak in the outside unit was causing a shutdown and could try to repair . I gave him the Ok and he stripped the unit down to bare bones, found the leak point and welded a repair. All of this took some time due to the location of the repair and work was performed in the sun. After he checked the entire system the AC was started and it began cooling instantly. While working on the unit Daniel explained the process and made sure my questions were answered. I have signed a 2 year contract with the company based on my review previous to repair and urge everyone to call them for assistance.
