Scott did an awesome job. The existing drywall on our front porch roof was falling down in places due to water damage from a poor roofing job. I called Scott hoping to get an idea of how much this repair would cost. Scott requested I send him a few pictures of the problem. I got the pictures to him, he sent me back an email the same day with a quoted price (his half day rate). Extra bonus, I didn't have to set aside an time in my schedule for him to look at the job and then come back to do the work. The ceiling looks good as new:) Just needs a little bit of paint (hopefully we won't put that off for another year). He's an expert at his craft and we couldn't have asked for a better result.

Tried getting a hold of several contractors with no success, it is not a big job. Then found Scott's website on Angie's list and it said send pictures for a free estimate. So I used email to send my pictures of the cracks and a day later I got a quote. Called back and he had an opening that day. He was there right on time and got started right away, using a hot mud application to ensure those drywall seams won't open up again. He textured and repaired everything we needed. You can pay less and take your chances; if you have a small job (and lt;5 sheets) then call or email 1st Choice Drywall Repair.

I was very impressed! I was having a big party on September 28th and he was able to come on the Saturday before . What I wanted most were patches that were undetectable as if the walls had never been cut ,and he delivered. He did a wonderful job at matching the texture of existing walls. I will definitely use him again.

I sent out three request for estimates over email. I had one come back $200, one for $150, and Scott's for $100. I went with Scott because he was the lowest estimate and he was still well reviewed. I called Scott to set up the appointment and he gave me a rundown of what to expect. He called the night before to confirm everything and showed up the next day right on time. He worked quickly and put plastic down to catch the mess. He got the repair done, cleaned up, then walked me through what he did and gave advice on what kind of stopper works best to prevent it from happening again. He even filled in a few nail holes around one of the bedrooms he was working in for no extra charge. The final repair looks awesome, the texture matches perfectly, it was quick, and Scott was very nice. I would highly recommend and use him again.

Scott is an expert at drywall repair! His prices are totally reasonable and he is quick with his repairs. He previously textured an entire ceiling for me years ago and did an amazing job. I happened to need some additional drywall services from him recently and forgot his name and lost his business card. So, I decided to do a search and just hire the first person who I felt comfortable with over the phone. I hired Scott again not even realizing that he was the same person who had previously done work for me in the past. What a pleasant surprise when I opened my door to see the same person who i had previouosly hired! If you are worried about messes, you have nothing to worry about with Scott! He makes every effort to protect the environment where the work is to be done by laying down drop-cloths. When he left, there were absolutely no messes in sight! He is friendly and pleasant and pays great attention to detail. If you have a job that requires drywall repair, plaster repair, drywall texturing, etc, then Scott is your man for the job!

I am so happy with the work that was completed. I had can lights in my kitchen replaced about a year ago with recessed lighting. The electrician patched the holes in the ceiling where the can lights had been, but the patch job was not the best. I had 1st Choice Drywall replace the patches and texturize to match the rest of the ceiling. Scott did an outstanding job. You can not tell there were ever any holes in the ceiling. I would highly recommend this company.
