 + -1 moreMike Halley is an absolutely wonderful builder/contractor. He and his team did a superb job in remodeling a very out-of-date space. I have been through several remodeling projects in the past,and was not prepared for the way he went about things: Everything happened on schedule. Everyone showed up on time. Everyone on the team was highly skilled and extremely pleasant to work with. The cost was fair and reasonable. Mike answers his own phone, usually on the second ring (unheard of!) and does exactly what he says he is going to do when he says he is going to do it. I have never encountered this before. He also has excellent taste, and made good suggestions that I would never have thought of. On top of all that, he is totally honest. I was very lucky that he was recommended to me, and I will trust him completely in future projects; I?m already planning the next one. I would not hire anyone else because he is the best. Description of Work: Mike Halley and his team remodeled a vacation-condo bathroom for me this winter. They dismantled the old bathroom down to the studs. They removed and replaced all fixtures as follows: replaced a freestanding cheap fiberglass shower with an oversized tiled shower; installed a new vanity, vessel sink, faucet, showerhead, new toilet, and medicine cabinet; tiled the floor as well as the shower walls, and installed a pocket door. They also painted when everything else was done, including the adjoining bedroom. They crearted a niche in the shower wall and finished it with a skillfully mitered picture-frame. They used decorative glass mosaic tile for the niche and for some trim, pebble tile for the shower floor, and porcelain tile for the shower walls and bathroom floor.
