I called John Michael Plumbing as a second opinion on fixing a shower drain. The first plumber I called diagnosed a leaking shower drain and quoted $174 to fix it. After removing the seal 10 minutes later he told me I had a crack/broken pipe and the only way to fix it was to completely remove the shower, possibly jackhammer our slab foundation and replace with an entire new shower. This plumber even suggested getting a second opinion. I really think this first plumber was just inexperienced. So I called John Michael Plumbing. He answered my call immediately and we set up a time for him to take a look. He came to the house on time, had the right tools and parts with him right on the truck to repair the shower drain leak. There was no need to completely demolish the shower to fix the drain. He was professional, knew exactly what to do and worked quickly. I also asked him to help with a bathroom faucet and he took care of that for us as well. John Michael Plumbing is knowledgeable and experienced and I definitely recommend him.

Mr. Michael did a very professional job on the installations. The 2 toilets had minor mounting issues which he fixed rather than just setting them on the spot. He also did not feel comfortable with the way the facets were mounting on the old sinks. He went with me to Park Supply and assisted in picking out sinks to coincide with the fixtures. He was very punctual and neat; he cleaned up and wipped down all his work areas. Took all the old toilets, sinks and facets with him to dispose of. I highly recommend John Michael Plumbing. Reasonably priced and as I said previously very professional!

John Michael was always on time, very responsive, gave accurate estimate, finished the entire work within 6 hrs. Works and looks great. Fixed some additional problems. People he hired for gas and electrical work did great work too.

It went really well, even when he discovered the subflooring for one was damaged. He is honest, fast, responsive, and thorough.

He did a great job. On time and on budget. Have used him several times since good guy.

So happy we called him!  We had almost no hot water pressure throughout our home.  John was able to quickly pinpoint the problem and repair it.  He does great work at a fair price.  I would not hesitate to call him again for any future plumbing problems.

After having 2 leaks in a certain area of the house, John Michael had previously recommended that I replace copper supply lines in that area because the pipes were corroding from the inside.  After the 3rd leak, I removed sheet rock to expose the pipes and had John come out and replace the copper lines with PEX.  This involved about a 20 foot run in the ceiling above the 1st floor (2 story house), and a vertical run that went down the wall to the crawl space.  This also required replacing the hot/cold supply lines for two sinks on the 2nd floor.  After the supply line work was scheduled, my water heater suddenly ruptured on Friday night.  Not a leak, mind you - a flood.  John happened to be working the next day, on Saturday, and came out to install a new water heater.  Then he came back and did the supply line replacement and installed a pressure regulator the following Tuesday, as previously agreed.
John is a true professional and very easy to work with.  He operates under the principle of treating his customers like he himself would like to be treated.  Although he has nobody but himself to answer his calls, I have not found it difficult to get in touch with him.  How are his rates?  Well, good plumbers aren't cheap.  He is competitive with anybody else that I would trust.  When you call John Michael, you know you are getting a guy that has 20+ years of experience, not just whoever is the next available from a big plumbing company.
I have used other local plumbers, and I am most satisfied with his work.  I plan to use him for any future plumbing needs.

It went great he was fast efficient and veer respectful of my time.

It went GREAT!!   We had been planning on going from electric to gas for some time.  We had checked with the local plumbing supply company, and they had also recommended John Michael Plumbing.  We of course still got other estimates, but John Michael Pluming won out.
On the day of the install, he arrived early to make sure everything was in place.  The moving of the gas lines was done by another company, BUT, he had his part done early, and did not leave until the entire job was complete.  He cleaned up the areas where he was working, and answered questions that had nothing to do with the install. He was VERY professional and courteous, and I would not hesitate to hire John Michael Pluming again.

This guy did a great job and earned my respect by informing me that I could call up Delta and get FREE lifetime replacement parts and save myself some money. He even suggested I might do the job on my own with the OEMs parts and instructions.
Because I had futzed with this faucet/sprayer a long time, I didn't want to do that so once I received the free parts, he dropped by and did the work quickly and efficiently with a reasonable price.

Highly recommend John Michael.  He is professional and dependable.

We broke a glass coffee pot into our garbage disposal on Christmas Eve.  We were doing a lot of cooking that day for a family dinner that night and not being able to use our full kitchen sink was going to be super inconvenient.  John fit us into his schedule, so we could have a nice Christmas dinner and holiday.
John is always super at fitting us into his schedule when we have an emergency like this. When we had a pipe burst after a freeze in Jan 2014, he came over within 30 minutes to see what he could do to at least prevent additional damage to our house that was flooded, even though he was super busy with a variety of clients with similar emergencies that day. He's a life saver!
We've also never had to have John out to address the same plumbing issue twice. He gets it done right the first time, which is super helpful since both my husband and I work full-time.  Plus, he's just an overall really nice guy to work with.
Because he's so good, his schedule stays pretty packed.  If you have trouble getting on John's appointment list, I promise he's definitely worth the wait.

I let a few days go by and then crawled under to check on the job. As it turned out, I was glad I did. One of the repaired sections had sprung a fresh leak. I called Mr. Michael and explained the situtation. He came back immediately and made a new repair. I let a few days go by again and checked. There were no other leaks. I believe Mr. Michael did a good job at a fair price and saved me a huge expense if I had let the other plumber replace all the pipes. I would definitely use John Michael Plumbing again if I have other plumbing issues.
