After waiting two hours for Josh and Brandon to show up after we had made the call, we quickly realized we had made a mistake. Right from the start they were very rude, saying things like, "This is a waste of my time." They also would not communicate to us what was going on. After 3+ hours of them working, we had to keep asking questions to which we got vague responses to. They warned us that if running the snake didn't work, they would have to cut the pipe and it would be very expensive. I asked them to go ahead and run the snake but to let us know before they cut any pipe- I definitely didn't want to pay $1,500 for them to cut a pipe! However, they ended up cutting the pipe anyway, without telling us. It turned out that there was some blockage in the pipe that had frozen. They did de-clog the pipe and fix the problem but considering it was just a matter of de-clogging the pipe, I don't think it was worth $1,500 of work! Maybe if we had completely replaced all of the piping, sure. Overall, I was thoroughly disappointed and quite angry with Plumbing 911. Rude, non-communicative, and way overpriced. We definitely got taken advantage of and were left with a dripping dispose-all.

Our gas water heater safety relief valves was constantly leaking. The technician, Justin, said that there was nothing wrong with the water heater, the problem was with the main pressure regulator and the expantion tank on the water heater. He did not give an estimate but replaced both parts. Then he presented my wife with a bill for $800.00. The cost of a main pressure regulator is only about $100.00 and an expansion tank is about $75.00 at Lowes. When my wife called to inquire about the bill the woman who returned the call after several attempts was extremely rude. When the woman started yelling, my wife had to hang up.
I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

We called and it was after hours. They made a house caller. They said their was a $79 service charge, and then the plumbers would advise what the price would be. My husband found where the leak was and shut off the water. They set up a pump to pump up out the water. There was a 90 degree pipe that needed to be dug up, which they did. They also talked about running new pipes to the road. They gave us a price of $1200 to fix the piping and to re-pipe to the road. I asked the plumbers how much it would be to fix a fitting and they said $1200. I asked how the price could be the same and they said they have a flat fee. They said that they needed the $1200, and they wanted cash. I called the office to say they wanted cash after hours. She starting screaming and yelling at me.

You can fined the ring cheap at a hardware store. I did not ask about the price up front but it was too expensive for the amount of work performed. I had an itemized list and called plumbers in the area to check what they would charge.  I called everyone and they told me I was ripped off. I tried to get my money back but they were not nice. They did give me back $200 but I still feel I was ripped off.

I have used the company at least 6 times over the past several years and have been pleased each and every time.  They are prompt, professional and do the job right the first time always. They have gone above and beyond the services rendered.
They came out quickly and fixed the shower valve perfectly. The shower plate now fits tightly and is secured.  I recommend them to anyone one. Nice people.

They provide emergency plumbing services. They are kind of pricey, but they do come out quickly. We called them at 8:00 at night. They came out within 30 minutes.

My mother is an 85-year old woman who became frightened about the relief line from the water heater being too hot. She made the mistake of calling someone she knew nothing about -- Plumbing 911. The plumber came alone. He was on time and seemed very nervous. His hands shook as he talked. He looked at the water heater and said it needed to be replaced. He told my mother that she should be happy that it hadn't blown because the temperature and pressure were so high. Then he disappeared for a couple of minutes. When he came back, he told her that the crawlspace under the house had a few inches of water and was covered with mold. The idea of mold frightened my mother very badly. I told him I had been under the house the evening before and had seen no water. He seemed surprised that I had been under the house. I had flags going up, but couldn't stop my mother from proceeding.

We made a terrible mistake of not getting an estimate. (Really, this was so out of the blue, I didn't know how much it should cost at that time.) He gave us a card of a clean-up company to treat the mold and dry out under the house. My mother called the cleanup team quickly, setting a very costly process in motion. The plumber went to get a Rheems Fury water heater. When he was taking out the old one, he flooded the kitchen. I grabbed towels and cleaned up the best I could. We had about 40 gals spilled in the kitchen, much that went into a hole that went under the house. I wondered why he didn't have an assistant and a shop vac handy before doing something like that.

The cleanup crew arrived and a worker went under the house and reported very little water and no mold. The plumber had lied. The only water under the house was apparently the water he spilled into the kitchen.

The plumber charged $2240 for the water heater and installation. I was not there when he ran my parents' charge, but saw the bill later. I checked and saw the retail price for the water heater was $395. The normal installation charge is $600-1000 for this type heater that uses gas. We do not know how much yet it is going to cost to clean up after him. This was one expensive company to deal with. I hope they go out of business soon, but I know there are many other naive people like us around. I'm glad I could warn others about them on Angie's List.

I should have gone out for a very nice dinner and gotten hotel rooms for the family for the night. This would have elminated the urgency to get the water restored right away, Then I could have taken my time the next day finding a reputable plumbing company. This would have been cheaper I am sure. I am going to try and get an itemized bill but from the other reviews I have read this is going to be impossible. DO NOT USE PLUMBING 911

An emergency repair service request was reported and was responded to in a reasonably short time. MISTAKE #1: I did not ask how much they charge for a service call and their hourly rate for work. The repair work was performed, and a bill presented. MISTAKE #2: I signed the bill before asking questions about the amounts charged. The bill was not itemized, adjustments would not be made, and the technician said "I'm only doing what my boss said to do"! All attempts for moderation of the bill and requests for an itemization of the bill was 'stonewalled' by the owner. Allowing for an estimated 1 hour travel time ($150.00) and $75.00 for materials, the work cost in the neighborhood of $450.00 per hour! Absolutely ridiculous! An old song from Sonny & Cher comes to mind, "Gypsies, Tramps & Theives". Thanks for listening.

My wife contacted Plumbing 911 and two men came out to fix the leak around 4 pm. I was out of town and my wife works and is taking care of a 15 month old during all of this. They had finished the repairs at 7 pm. They called their office and where told to charge my wife $2675 for the job. She charged it to a credit card and signed it. I called Plumbing 911 several times last week to contest the charge. They promised to having their billing personnell call me and they never did. I called yesterday and they promised to call me back yesterday and they didn't. I called back this morning and they finally called me back this afternoon. I explained the situation I described above and the fact for 6 manhours of work and say 2 manhours of travel time and $50 in material that came out to $328/manhour (for a $2,675 bill) and I thought that was unreasonable. She said they don't charge by the hour but they charge by the job. I asked if they knew it was by the job why didn't they provide that number up front. She responded by asking me if my wife asked for what it would be up front. I wasn't there but you can probably imagine that my wife was trying to take care of this plumbing issue which she isn't used to and also trying to care for a 15 month old that she didn't do that but Plumbing 911 didn't seem to be concerned about that. I also thought it was state law to give price estimates up front and that was not done. All of that fell on deaf ears. As I said above it is totally unreasonable that this company charged this amount of money for a job that took 3 hours-it is pure and simple robbery. This job at $50/manhour should be no more than $450. It is unfortunate that we did not check this company out in advance. I did check the BBB afterwards and they have a rating of D+ so I'm not sure if they are very concerned about their reputation.

Terrible. Not only was I taken advantage of but after they fixed the leak and turned the water back on, I had almost no water pressure. I'm know looking at replacing the complete water line and have gotten an estimate in writing from another plumber for $2,500.00. If you look up Plumbing 911 on the BBB website you will see similar people that have had similar experiences. I tried to contact the owner numerous times and he would never return my call.

I am young, and unexperienced when it comes to dealing with installation services. I was told that they could not give me a field estimate, but everything would be listed on the bill. I ended up writing a check, because I did not know what else to do. If it had not been for my father, I would be in jail as we speak for writing a bad check. I feel that I was taken advantage of. There were three large men in my apartment, and I felt that I had no other choice than to write a check. From the price they gave me, they should have given me pure gold piping. As of today, 1 year later, my disposal frequently pours all of its contents out onto my floor because the piping will not stay together. However, as you might imagine, I am scared that if I call them I will end up with another bill worth a couple thousand. What I thought was going to be a simple job (connecting a dishwasher and installing a disposer) ended up costing me about 3,000 dollars including legal fees. DO NOT HIRE!

A waterline broke in our sprinkler system and Plumbing 911 came to do the repair. It took way too long (over period of a month) and they overcharged. In addition, seven months after they did their work it had to be completely redone.
