Let me start with the positive.  Fine Line Engravers has a nice assortment of gift items and decent prices.  However, their execution leaves a lot to be desired.  On April 30, 2012, I ordered six business card holders.  I dealt with a new employee who was poorly trained because she did not have a clue about what information she needed to take or provide.  On May 11, 2012, I returned because I was not given a time frame to expect completion of my order.  I was told at this time they hadn't been ordered and would be ordered soon.  I was told to expect delivery at the end of June.  July 9, 2012, I visited the store, spoke with the person who I talked with on May 11 and was assured they were ordered before the 4th and would be in around two weeks later.  Additionally, as I entered the store a clerk asked if she could help me but seeing the person I dealt with before, I by-passed her.  For which she came back with a rude comment.  I later apologized to the clerk as I left the store and explained why I by-passed her.  Today, July 25, 2012 I went by the store to discover where we were with my order.  I waited for the clerk I had been dealing with and asked her about my order.  She went to the back to check and did not return.  A "first day employee" was sent out to get some information so she could call the vendor to see what was up.  I do not believe this was her first day as she knew the name of the vendor she needed to contact and I would hope the original clerk was not that cowardly.  So, now I am waiting for this "new" persons call to discover when I will finally receive the merchandise I ordered on April 30, 2012.

On August 4, 2013 I asked and was given my money back.  I was contacted about a month later and told my order was ready.  When I did not pick  it up, it was shipped to me in December.  While I may never go to this business again, the owner did go beyond my expectations to win my business back.

"I would like to thank this member for the positive comments that were made by him on how wonderful our store is and appreciate him for taking the opportunity to bring these issues to light. Additionally, to clarify, we were notified the vendor that we order this item from went out of business and we have tried contacting several others vendors to locate this item or a replacement while trying to making sure that he received the best product for the value. Considering the order was not due until the holidays (Christmas) the staff was under the understanding that there was still significant enough time to locate a new vendor and complete the order. To do this we have been to both the Atlanta and Biloxi markets looking for this and other items. We have contacted him and tried to offer an alternative item in replacement and he refused.He was also offered a return and or store credit and that was refused as well.. As for the issue with the employees we have discussed this situation with them and have taken the appropriate action. Again, it is always our pleasure to serve the community in any and all ways possible and hope that there is some way we can resolve this matter and invite him let us know what we can do to please him in the future."
