After requesting a quote for A/C condenser repair vs a replacement or entire system, I was blown away at the quick response. In just hours Chad Sr. himself responded and got me "chillin". He performed a repair I had been told by another company could not be done. They said I would be wasting my money in the attempt and should purchase a new condenser instead. Just that erroneous information and "free" filters cost me $69. Honestly, I know it's due for an upgrade soon but not right now and certainly not at their price point. I found Chad's honesty, knowledge and expertise refreshing.. He's the real deal! Very impressive. When the time comes for a new system, he's got my business! He saved me thousands today! I opted for the annual maintenance plan as well. I've finally found an A/C company that has my back and it feels good. Man, it's cold up in here!

The instillation job was very sloppy with extra wires, trash, left wires that were not connected. Left tools, etc. in the hallway overnight. Left a large hole where they ran wires through soffett.

Instillation took two days because the new uit had a bad circuit board (not Chad's fault). Instillation was very sloppy. The left wires that were not connected to anything running from the outside part of the unit to the inside part. Didn't do a good job of insulating pipe. Drilled a new hole for the thermostate on the inside of the house and didn't clean up mess, etc. I will not use them again.

Had unit installed 3 years ago. Intermittent water leaking out of unit for 2+ years. Called in past but it always stopped and did not have them come out.. This time it leaked continually that I had to put a large ice chest under the fresh air input area to collect water. Technician was called and told me before hand there would be a service call charge if the problem was due to a maintenance issue. After arriving and taking off the cover he displayed a piece of foam that was stuck in the drain. Since this was internal to the unit, it must have been residue from the install. Then finding the PVC tubing clogged with trash and build up, he cut it out, flushed it with hose, then re attached. My comment was that this tubing was from the original unit that was put in with the house in 1998, and why was a new PVC pipe not put in instead of using the old one? (Note this is 5 fittings and about 2 ft of 1/2 PVC), he said that Chad prices his units cheap and they reuse existing parts if they seem to be OK.
Ultimately:pros:1) arrived in about an hour after calling2) was told upfront there would be charge if maintenance issue3) technician knowledgeable in jobcons:1) paid for service call for foam blocking drain that came from inside unit ( not sure why that was my maintenance issue)2) paid for service to clear PVC drain that would not have had 11 years of build up if new when unit was installed.3) was shown that sensor that controls the amount of Freon circulated by temperature against copper line was never installed correctly. Insulation was cut and taped back together to put in correct place.Finally:1) did sign up for yearly inspection service so that my warranty on parts would be kept intact.2) will call again as they control the warranty

I called and spoke to Chad for an estimate. He promised to get to it in next couple days. He never called me back. Also, his newspaper ads led me to believe he would be cheaper because of lower overhead. Just to get an idea before the estimate, we discussed pricing over telephone. I was surprised when I later called Edwards and they were the same price for same size and brand system.
