Jennifer W. Casey is a registered engineer and licensed contractor. Her ability to look at a situation from both perspectives is unique. Ms. Casey has over twenty-five (25) years of experience involving structural design, inspection and construction. She has been responsible for the complete design of both state- and federally-funded projects which involve hydraulic studies, structural design and contract plan preparation. She is able to perform hands-on visual inspections which include free climbing, confined spaces, and equipment assisted inspections. Ms. Casey is experienced in commercial and residential applications. She understands the procedures in preparing complex bids, overhead, and operational costs. She is versed in construction industry standard practices. Her experience as an employer adds another dimension to her ability to assess construction operations. Ms. Casey holds certification as a Master Plans Examiner. This position requires her to review building plan

In order to obtain a permit for renovations of our 93 year old house, we needed a structural engineer to sign off and make recommendations for removal of load bearing walls. Jennifer was very thorough, knowledgeable and professional. The report was received in a timely manner and she s been available to my contractor for additional questions.

They were very professional. Yet i would have liked a better explanation of what would have been done for the fee. I have no clue what other consulting firms charge. Yet being on fixed income it was more money for the time they spent on property than i thought would be invested, I do NOT know what time was invested by them off site. The report however did HELP me AVOID wasting funds on piers/anchors.Sadly they did NOT give me any other suggestions how or if i could extend the life of building. They suggested a tear down and building a diferrent structure. NO follow up on what kind or cost to do so; thus 4.5 instead of 5 stars. I hope that they continue to be successful and find an easier way to be contacted besides home advisor or other web sites. ONLY becuase a CONTRACTOR FREIND in NJ told me to look on a certain site did i even find them. The most positive thing was THEY CALLED instead of relying on an EMAIL reply. I liked that since i am NOT a computer savvy person and PREFER face to face or voice to voice. HATE filling out this surveys. My property had been damaged by BRIDGE BUILDING BLASTING[2003] although the STATE OF WV denied that FACT. The above ave. rainfall in 2018 made it worse. Wish i had found them back in 2003. Scott Brown Washington WV. P.S.- If i buy another place i will HIRE them 1st before doing so to avoid issues that came with this location.

I hired them to look at my home built in 1925 because I plan to remodel. John was very nice, respectful and answered all my questions. The report sent by Jennifer was easy to understand and detailed. I would definitely use them again!

How knowledgeable, and experienced J. Casey Consulting was when I needed a Professional Structural Engineer, and a Contracting Co. together. J. Casey Consulting determined the amount of damages done to my house from a nearby blast of around 300 feet that went completely wrong. Professional, precise, prompt courteous service done by J. Casey Consulting with a Letter of Findings and estimate. Highly recommended. Thank You.
