Basement Waterproofing
I've had several visits by Everdry to fix minor cracks and check the homes existing waterproofing done several years ago. Every time I call, I am able to setup an appointment in a timely matter (within a couple days) to have services performed. The on-site technicians are courteous and professional.
Response from Everdry Waterproofing Wisconsin
"Nice to feel secure, isn't it [Member Name Removed]? Yup...that warranty comes in handy. Glad we can help. Make sure to call us before issues get too big. You see something, you call us. Better to be safe than sorry. Thanks for letting others know. Yours, Matthew General Manager Everdry Waterproofing"

The crew arrived daily on time, was polite and professional and as respectful of our home as can be with this type of work.
Response from Everdry Waterproofing Wisconsin
"Great comment, [Member Name Removed]! "This type of work". Truthfully, that's one of the things we impress upon our inspectors to explain to homeowners. This is HARD WORK! We often bring JACKHAMMERS into homes! This is "open-heart surgery" on your home. You have to expect a little scar tissue. That said, we work extremely hard to keep it as neat as possible and to do a thorough clean up before we leave. We want you to walk with us around the home to sign off on our "closing". I appreciate the wording and the review. Give us a call if you ever need us. Yours, Matthew Flynn General Manager Everdry Waterproofing"

The wall on the east side of our home had multiple vertical & horizontal cracks in it. The basement was always very damp & uninviting. Everdry came to review the basement issues & provide us with an estimate. We had 15 steel beams put into the east wall of the basement, the sump crock expanded (to allow for a back-up sump pump) and the easy-breathe system was installed. Since the original installation 10 years ago, the basement is moisture free. Everdry has replaced the sump pump and the easy-breathe once (per warranty) in that time period with much professionalism. I would definitely call on them for any future foundation or basement moisture needs.

"[Member Name Removed], Good morning and thank you for the review. It's great to hear such success stories. We'd like the pump to last 20 years, but if it gets taxed more than others, it may have to be replaced in 5 years...or even less! But the point of the warranty is that you no longer need to worry about it. The onus is on us to make your basement dry and to fix what needs to be done. You call us if there is ever an issue. We'll be here for you, Thanks for the review and have a dry spring. Matthew Flynn General Manager Everdry Waterproofing"

It made our basement dry for the first time since we bought the house. The lifetime guarantee gives us peace of mind, knowing that if the sump pumps go out, they will be replaced. The lifetime guarantee is a valuable part of the service EverDry provides.

"Thank you for reviewing our work here, [Member Name Removed]. I'm happy to read your understanding of the importance of a warranty that transfers forever. It truly is substantial. Here's hoping you never need to call us. Yours, Matthew Flynn General Manager Everdry Waterproofing"

"[Member Name Removed], People are always amazed at how our excavators can do this work in the cold. It isn't easy, to be sure. However, we work year round and getting the work done in the winter means you can enjoy the spring blooms. Enjoy the dryness. And thank you for writing. Basement Waterproofing, Foundation Repair
I bought my house 4 years ago and the previous owners had basement restoration done about 10 years prior to that. This is a feature in the house that I had not considered but now I think it is my house's greatest selling point. We had widespread flooding in my area last summer and everyone I know with a basement had problems. My sump pump didn't even kick on. I am extremely happy with this and recommend this work by Everdry to all my homeowner friends.
Response from Everdry Waterproofing Wisconsin
"Thank you [Member Name Removed], for writing. Two things: How cool is it to know you have that kind of peace of mind and you inherited that transferable warranty...AND you can eventually sell the house easier and for more knowing that that warranty transfers to the NEXT homeowner?! That said, do me a favor. Check the pump every so often, maybe every spring. Just dump some water into the crock to make sure the pump is still working. You have a back up on yours anyway, but do it so that if the first pump fails, we can replace it without any concerns. Just want to be sure. Anyway, thank you for writing and sharing the positive note. Stay dry! Yours, Matthew Flynn General Manager Everdry Waterproofing"

We were highly impressed/satisfied from the 1st visit for an estimate to the final clean up. Everdry kept is informed from the price estimate, the process involved, the key names of the crew and through followup during and after the work was done. It was a shock when our basement 1st got wet but the piece of mind that we have with the professional work was worth every penny. Yes you can pay less but your home is a huge investment and having Everdry do the work on our basement was a great decision.Quality work, quality workers and positive results.
Response from Everdry Waterproofing Wisconsin
"Excellent [Member Name Removed]! That's exactly what I like to read..."worth the cost". Listen, this work is done in an area that isn't easily accessible. We have to dig and, to save cost and disruption to your landscaping, we dig by hand. That isn't always the cheapest route, but it is the one that can be warrantied for the life of the home and can actually fix the true issue...nowhere near a "bandaid fix". Glad you understand that and now have that peace of mind. Looks forward to many more years of dry basement. Yours, Matthew Flynn General Manager Everdry Waterproofing"

Excellent!
Response from Everdry Waterproofing Wisconsin
"Isn't that great, [Member Name Removed]? I mean, we can't always get back out the very next day, but our response time is pretty impressive when it comes to pressure relief systems. And keep in mind that these are motors. They're meant to eventually die. And yours will always be under warranty. That says something about a company. Any company that can keep that up for almost 30 years should be considered pretty impressive...if I do say so myself. :) That said, call us with any issues. We're here for you. Yours, Matthew Flynn General Manager Everdry Waterproofing"

The work was done on a cold winter day. Sufficient workers were provided, care was taken to minimize dust from sawing and jack hammering, the work was completed in one day and there was a coordinated effort. When spring arrived and the rains came there was one particular trouble spot which required return visits to ultimately seal, but their persistence was greatly appreciated until the problem was solved. When the problem was reported to them they responded quickly and professionally. In all, they were great to work with.
Response from Everdry Waterproofing Wisconsin
"[Member Name Removed], Thank you for writing and sharing the whole story. You may have given us a "B" (and I understand why), but this is a true success story for me. You see, waterproofing is not a perfect thing. Water, as we know, finds its way. Though we may do our best and be the best in the business, it is not a 100% guarantee that we will solve the issue in one fell swoop. Sometimes it is necessary to come back once or twice. But that's the thing: you have a life-time transferrable warranty. You will always have us there to come back. That you were one of the minority of home owners that needed us to come back is unfortunate for you and I am sorry about that. However, I am greatly appreciative to you for sharing that we DID and that we take pride in that. Thanks for writing and call us with any concerns. Yours, Matthew Flynn General Manager Everdry Waterproofing"

Good, our expectations were met and the finished product was what we were told it would be.
Response from Everdry Waterproofing Wisconsin
"Thank you, [Member Name Removed], for writing. You know, it's tremendously difficult to explain the totality of what it is we do. We can warn, but the work is hard. We often have to bring heavy equipment into your house! But the fact that your expectations were met pleases me. Sounds like an overall solid job on our part. Understand that if you ever need anything, you can just call us and let us know. You have a lifetime warranty with us...a relationship, if you will. We're always here for you. Take care and stay dry. Basement Waterproofing
It went very smoothly and I would highly recommend them to other people.
Response from Everdry Waterproofing Wisconsin
"Ugh, I hate to read that, [Member Name Removed]. You're the classic case that I explain to all others when we talk about our canvassing department or our second-call center. We truly do want to get to homes for a free inspection whenever we can, but ESPECIALLY when the symptoms first show up. So many people will be told, "Just add some earth/grading along the outside of the house". Well, if the water has found its way inside the home, the SYSTEM that was there for the house's protection has worn away. That symptom, the defense against water does age, it does erode. Putting earth around the house my stymie the water's path for a period fo time, but it is jus a band aid. Water should not be introduced to the basement walls. Mold, cracking, efflorescence...these all are a result of water, from the OUTSIDE, as gotten through the porous foundation. That water creates havoc and so often the signs are there, telling the homeowner to get help. And that's where are canvassing team or second-call center comes into play. A free inspection can catch the symptoms in their infancy. We can actually solve this issue BEFORE it gets too pricey. Your cost is MUCH higher than our average fix. What if our canvassers had gotten you to have an inspection years ago? And the "nuisance" of our canvassers knocking on doors is definitely our way to EARN business, but it is also a way to get to the issues before they become structural or too far gone for a cheaper fix. Stinks. I know. And I am sorry. That said, you now have a lifetime warranty that is transferrable to WHOMEVER owns your home, long after you've sold it. Worth its weight in gold, I'd say. :) Thank you for the kind words and have a dry spring! Yours, Matthew Flynn General Manager Everdry Waterproofing"

It went well. They had the job completed in a couple of days and we have a dry basement. Even when my neighbors have had water in their basements after a heavy rain, our basement is dry.

Basement Waterproofing
Quoted twenty some thousand dollars. Another company indicated basement was fine - grading needed to be done.
Response from Everdry Waterproofing Wisconsin
"[Member Name Removed], HATE to read this! I understand, completely, your thoughts. One company says you should fix, another says don't. If I'm you, I want to side with the company that has the cheapest, easiest fix. That makes sense. What doesn't make sense, however, is grading. Grading is adding earth around the house to keep water from the walls. That said, didn't you have signs of water in the walls already? So the waterproofing that your home was built with to keep water out of your walls and off your floor is no longer working? So just add earth to try to keep it away? But it's found it's way in already. What sense does that make? Yes, the answer of "Your problem isn't that bad. Just add some earth" sounds great, but it does nothing for the foundation but put off the inevitable and does not look after the health of the home. If your roof was allowing water into your attic or into the ceiling below it, would you try to divert the water away from the holes or actually fix the roof? I mean, how old is the roof? If it's 30 years old, it makes sense to fix it. Your basement was last waterproofed when it was built...what 50+ years ago? It makes no sense to put a band aid on the foundation. Lastly, giving us an "F" rating based solely on a FREE, no-obligation inspection is rough. So we inspected your basement, educated you to the issues we found, described all possible fixes-all for free- and we get an "F"? I can understand you don't want to spend that amount of money, but an "F" is a pretty rough grade for all that we did. Keep in mind also that we warranty forever...for the life of the home, transferrable to whomever owns it. You may feel $20,000 is too much, but you get no warranty on a stop-gap measure like grading away from the home. I wish you the best. I want for you to have a safe, dry basement. If you do not do work with us, I get it. That said, we will be here if you ever need us. Take care. Yours, Matthew Flynn General Manager Everdry Waterproofing"

Great, when were purchased our home, we received the warranty. They have consistently provided great service.
Response from Everdry Waterproofing Wisconsin
"Great review to read to start my morning, [Member Name Removed]! Thank you for telling others about your fortunate discovery. You now own a home with a warranty that lasts the life of the home. And just think: when you sell, the NEXT home owner gets that warranty as well. Imagine how much easier it will be to sell your home when you can tell buyers that not only is your basement bone-dry, but if it ever needs any attention, Everdry will be there to service it. Congrats and thanks! Matthew Flynn, General Manager, Everdry Waterproofing"

We had someone come from Everdry to have them take a look and see what they think about the situation as well as give us an estimate for the cost to fix the problem. Well holy cow did they hard sell us on some things we did not need. They told us that to fix the issue we would need to get our ENTIRE basement waterproofed, we needed all of the drainage tile below our basement replaced, and not only 1 but 2 sump pumps installed. All for the low low cost of twenty-two thousand dollars. During the entire assessment, I kept noticing comments that the man kept making that were basically comments to scare us into getting the work done. (ie: Well, you know now that you've had this estimate done and if you decide not to do the work but sell your house instead you will be required to take the cost of the basement off of your asking price). Then when we decided to get more estimates for this project because something just felt off and this project felt like overkill. Cue the secretary calling us saying that the manager wants to survey the basement to give us a better deal, and when my husband couldn't confirm a new appointment time for our schedules they would not stop calling us, there was one Saturday morning where we were called 3 times before 9am. The called us almost everyday after that, there was no being polite we just had to flat out tell them "No, we can't afford this work." I don't doubt that had we gone with them they would have done great work, but I cannot get past the bad taste in my mouth of how we were being hard sold.

Everdry solved our wet crawl space problem. The work was done approximately 8 years ago and we have not had water in our crawl space since the work was done. What a relief to no longer have to worry about this problem. The project was expensive, but was worth the money. We no longer have to worry about mold and musty odors plus drying out the crawl space. Job well done!!

Basement Waterproofing
EverDry determined that the bubbling occurred because the weep holes were not drilled deep enough in the wall below the floor line. The team redrilled the holes, replaced the stone, and mortared the floor. The team also dug down on the outside and sealed the wall on one corner that was not accessible when the work was originally done, about 12 years ago. All work was done at no charge because I had been paying the annual fee. My only complaint with this visit is the same as the original visit, the self-leveling mortar used to finish off the floor does not stay flat when it sets. The result is waves and low spots that require a lot of filling and leveling before the floor tile can be laid back down. There must be a better process or material to finish off the floor and keep it flat.

Waterproofing has been successful. I did have water in basement several years after work was completed due to water leaking in possibly from a window. Everdry was called and the problem was taken care of. I have also had problems with the sump pump pipe freezing and the sump pump running continuously due to water not being able to be discharged from the pipe. Everdry replaced the sump pump a few times because of this and I have not had problems for at least two years now. My warranty includes caulking around perimeter of house when necessary. This work appears somewhat sloppy but it has been completed each time I have called in to get it done.
