We just moved into our place in november of 2012 and we were unfamilar with the whole propane situation as we just moved from the city. I called into motor propane and talked to one of thier secretaries and transfered me to one of their sales guys. the young man came over the same day and didnt charge me a thing. He sat down with me and showed me what to expect and how i could save money on a heating plan. He answered all my questions and made me feel pretty comfortable with it as a whole. I Prebought my fuel for the year n since then they have been making timely deliveries.....kinda nice i dont even have to watch my tank since they have some sort of computerized forcasting system...so far so good!

we just built a new house and bought appliances but where we got the appliances from doesn't convert them from natural gas to propane we had our plumber who is certified in propane convert it everything was good until we moved in and notice that the oven was not right it heated a little too fast and we could see flames in the oven and if you have a gas oven you know you shouldn't see flames our plumber was out of town for a few weeks and i wanted to get this fixed so i found motor propane from the yellow pages and called them up because they said that they convert appliances i set up a time and day and paid the $55 i charge that covered the trip charge and the first 15 min that the service tech was there i was also told that after the first ten min it would be another $55 for every hour after that the day of the servicing 10:00 am is when the tech was supposed to show up but i received a call at 9:55 am and the tech said he was going to be late because he didn't have his truck another tech took it and he didn't think that my appointment was until the afternoon. i was calm and told him show up as soon as possible. an hour later the tech was there at 11:00 i thought not bad i can understand mistakes happen and let that slide i watched the clock because i didn't want another $55 charge because of an orifice to a stove he came in and took out the drawer to the bottom of the stove and took out his wrench and tightened the orifice to make sure it was right he took out the bottom of the inside of the stove and checked it and everything was working great i told him to leave the drawer out because i could put it back and then he said the lady's at the office would send out the invoice then he left at 11:08 well with in the 15 that is covered with the trip charge two weeks later with no invoice sent i checked my credit card bill and noticed two charges on it from motor propane the $55 charge that i agreed to and then another charge for $38 i called the company to see what happened i explained everything to the receptionist and she said the invoice will be in the mail shortly and she would talk to the service tech to find out if all the charges were correct i received no phone call telling me what happened but a week later i received the invoice and there was a refund of $17.50 that was not what i was expecting because he wasn't there longer than 15 min i called back and the receptionist said that first the service tech said he was there for 30 min then changed it to only 20 min that is why i was still getting a second charge of 17.50 so i asked to talk to the manager but she wasn't in and wouldn't be in until the end of the week i left a message and waited but no call at the end of the week i waited until tuesday the next week to call but she was not in and the message was left again she called back at 4:50 on wednesday and fought with me on the phone saying i was wrong and the she talked over me and wouldn't let me answer questions or ask questions i stopped her and said i would like to talk face to face with her because obviously over the phone was not working i said i was on my way but she stopped me and said they close in 10 min so tomorrow would have to work we set up a time for the next day for when the manager, the service tech, and i could meet i showed up 10 min early and was given the cold shoulder the whole time i waited and then meet with the manager who was not the person i was talking to on the phone i talked to the assistant manager also the service tech never showed up the manager first said "you drove all this way for $15, you spent more on gas to get here than you are asking to be refunded." he went on to say that i was getting charged for him to do paperwork that he was supposed to do at my house and hand to me but instead he did the paperwork back at the office and still charged me for it the manager couldn't see why i was fighting the second charge when what i was quoted was all i was asking for after trying to fight with me for about ten min he asked the receptionist what i was quoted and she said $55 for the first 15 min and then $55 for every hour after that he then refunded the other 17.50 that i was wrongly charged this was not something i should have had to fight to get corrected
