The serviceman came to tell me he was done and ready to be paid. I went to check his completed work. The installation of glass windshield looked correct. I was surprised that he thought his job was completed and ready to leave except for the payment needed. He had not vacuumed the mats. There was tons of shattered glass on dashboard and floor. I took into account the challenge of cleaning up all those pieces. I also asked him to remove the sticky stuff on windshield from the tape. He did what I asked . When the job was completed I checked again. It was definitely improved , just not to my satisfaction. I realize that it may have been that particular technician who was not thorough. It was covered by my insurance which has a $100 deductible. It cost me $100 even. I wish I could have written a better review.

I had to go back 3 times to this location and contact their corporate executive team before it was correctly done. An awful experience with water leaking in. 1st placement not done correctly. 2nd replacement which they did a temp fix no good. Call executive team and 3rd time done correctly.

We used them in Wisconsin. It was covered by insurance. They were great. It took an hour to complete the work. The workers were nice.

Pricing was good and ended up being very minor for me with my insurance. They are absolutely great and I give them an A+ they're the best!

By far the worst imaginable experience I think you could have getting a windshield replaced. Paul came to my home to replace the windshield on my car which is 6 months old. I inspected the windshield after the tech competed the job and the new windshield has a 2" scratch, a defect in the tint, the tech put pry marks in my cowling, and the molding around the windshield didn't even touch the glass on the drivers side. Safelite was notified and they agreed to install another new windshield and correct the problems but this time i had to take it to their shop (40 miles away). They scheduled for the first appointment on a Saturday morning. Upon arrival the tech said they did not have the parts or the windshield as they were only going to "look it over" for that appointment!!! What a complete waste of my time. Safelite corporate apologized and rescheduled for the next Saturday and another 40 mile one way drive to their Pewaukee shop. Upon arrival I was told it would be a 1 1/2 to 2 hour appointment. I could have a seat in the waiting room and the technician would come and find me with any questions. It was about 9:20am when I finally saw the car leave for the work to be completed. A short time later the technician came to get me so I could point out the problems. I pointed out the scratch, the tint imperfections, the molding problems, and the pry marks on the cowling. He told me it was normal to have pry marks in the cowling as they have to get it off somehow and there will always be gaps between the molding and the window. He did not mention the scratch or the tint imperfections. He asked me what I would like him to do to make me happy and I said I'd like it to look like the new car I originally brought in: no scratch in the windshield, the molding properly applied, and the cowling replaced. He told me he "obviously" did not have any of these parts in house, he'd have to order them and reschedule. I informed him the parts were ordered and ready for install. The 9am appointment was to make the fixes. He said he'd talk to his supervisor, maybe he already ordered the parts. At this point I had someone pick me up so I wouldn't have to sit in the waiting room. I left my number and asked to be called with any questions, information, or when it was done. By 10:15am I had heard nothing. I called to see if it was being done today or not. After a brief hold I was told the technician would call me back in a few minutes. 20 minutes later I called again. After another brief hold I was told the parts were there, the car could be done today, but it would take hours to do it as they have other appointments scheduled and It probably wouldn't be done until 5pm when they close. At this point I called corporate and explained the entire disaster again and questioned why i now have to be squeezed in when i had a 9am appointment and what reasonable business would expect a customer to wait their for 8 hours? Corporate offered a $50 rebate for my inconvenience. The car was not finished until 3pm so another 6 hours wasted waiting. Fortunately they did an excellent job this time which is what I would have expected the first time around. To summarize: Who in their right mind would do business with a company that says pry marks, misaligned molding and trim are normal and to be expected?I will never do business with them again and will do my best to let everyone know just how poor the service is. AVOID!!

Windshield was changed in my driveway. The driver called ahead to say he was on his way and changed out the windshield in the allotted time he quoted. He then gave post care instructions. I have had my car through a car wash since with no problems.

Paul was fantastic. He was on time (like, to the minute) and very good at what he does. He took about 20 mins tops AND he even vacuumed out my car - very thoughtful! It was through my insurance company, so cost me nothing out of pocket, which was nice. I have the option between this and another company and am very happy I went with these guys!

My experience with them was great. I made an appointment and they kept the appointment on time. They met my expectations. They have a great service. They are professional. Whatever they said they were going to do is what they did and the time frame that they said was needed to get it done. They came on site and did the work, so they can come to your home and do it. They were able to handle the claim with the insurance agent. The insurance agent recommended them to us and we compared their price to other prices and they were competitive. The expense was covered by the insurance. They have a really easy to use website in terms of setting up the appointment.

I brought my vehicle to Safelite to have them look at a chip on the windshield. After inspecting it, the representative indicated that they couldn't repair it and that the windshield would have to be replaced. I ended up leaving the vehicle there and coming back later in the day to pick it up. The woman who took care of the billing was very nice and professional. She was even willing to give me the Angie's List discount even though I scheduled the repair through my insurance company. The next day, my wife let me know that the windshield appeared to be distorted near the bottom. When she got home, I looked and sure enough, there was a distortion on the windshield that gave it a sort of fun-house look. We called Safelite, and they had a technician come out to our house the next day to replace it. This apparently happens from time-to-time, so they were fine replacing it free of charge. The new windshield had no distortion, and the technician completed the work quickly. Overall, I'm happy with the work that they did. My only complaint is that I'm surprised that the windshield was caught by some quality inspection... either by the manufacturer or by Safelite.
