The work was done quickly and professionally. The finished result has exceeded our expectations and this company will be providing all future needed asphalt maintenance.

We needed to replace our asphalt driveway because it wasn't graded correctly and was causing leakage into our basement. After a recommendation from a friend, we added PLM to our list of contractors from whom we received a bid. Theirs was the second-lowest of 4 bids, and we chose them because we believed they were honest based on the salesman's responses to our questions and concerns. When we checked, PLM did not appear on Angies List, but there were a couple of complaints with the better business bureau, which appeared to have been resolved. We checked their references, driving by a commercial concrete driveway and calling a homeowner who described his positive experience with PLM. We contracted with them to do the work. Their workers were efficient and quick, and the drainage problem from the old driveway was resolved. They left quite a bit of debris (chunks of concrete and asphalt, gravel). When we called to complain about the debris, they returned and took some of it away, but left too much for us to easily dispose of. Within the first few months after the paving, the concrete began to show cracks and pitting. When we complained they were slow to respond, but eventually agreed to replace the half of the driveway closest to the house (where the problems were worst). Within a year the remainder of the driveway was as cracked and pitted as the part that had been replaced, and even the replacement concrete started to pit. We heard about a class-action lawsuit in which a concrete provider had compensated many area pavers for having provided sub-standard concrete. We contacted PLM with this information and our continued dissatisfaction with the quality of the driveway, and they refused to re-pave any of it. They accused us of using too much salt during the winter, when in reality we had used only a light sprinkling on three occasions. In a letter to us dated 10/6/2009, PLM claimed that we had made a verbal agreement with them that "if we were to replace the affected sections of concrete [here referring to the 1/2 of the driveway already replaced], PLM would not be liable for any further issues with the pavement." We remember making no such agreement, either in writing or verbally. At that time we made a choice not to pursue the hassle and expense of a lawsuit, Our pitted and cracked driveway today has a section in which weeds are growing.
