The provider could no longer get the attic fan that was to be installed so they cancelled the deal.

Was pretty much useless, and that's why I no longer subscribe to Angie's list. After the original guy came out and did the audit, I didn't get anything back for over 5 weeks. Had to call a few times to get a report. And there were no suggestionss or what to do to make improvements. Waste of money.

They did not follow through on anything. I had to follow up a lot with them to get the actual report. I was a little disappointed with my experience with them. I felt they were trying to make a report to make it seem like I needed other services done. One of the pieces of equipment was not available to use and I felt a bit short changed by that. I did not follow through with them after that.

The work that Weatherization Services completed was covered under the Me2 energy program. ?An auditor was sent out to do an assessment and they performed a range of services from the list. ?The team was fantastic, very nice and an incredible amount of work was completed in one day. ? It was blazing hot and much of the work happened on the second story and in the attic -- I kept them stocked in cold water as best I could and they were incredibly polite and seemed grateful. ?I would certainly have them back to do the walls some day, though perhaps not on the hottest day of the summer.

The service turned out fine. We were satisfied with the service. They were timely with the job.

They said our insulation was good; there were no problems. They were efficient, on time, and knew what they were talking about. I would recommend them to others.

It turned out okay. I didn't make any purchase or changes of it but it was interesting because it showed a lot of areas that needed weatherization. They were on time and pretty informative on what they did. He went everywhere around the house.

Fred came out to the house to give me the estimate. He was polite and professional and understood what I wanted done. He was very accommodating on my timing as to when I wanted the job completed. The job was scheduled for between 8:30 and 9 am but about 9, I got a call from Fred saying his crew was running late. I appreciated the fact that he let me know. When the crew arrived they got right to work. They removed and took the old fiberglass insulation with them. They also cleaned up after themselves. So far, I am pleased with the results. The process took very little time and there were no problems that I was aware of.

We had a date set for them to come up and give us an estimate. I was called first thing that morning informing me that the person who was scheduled to do our estimate was out sick and they asked if they could reschedule for later that same day. That was no problem - I was glad that that they were still able to accommodate us that same day. The gentleman came out - asked me what my concerns were and took a look at our current situation - he said that he would email me a proposal in a few days. He explained to me some of the problems that he saw as well as how they would address some of the concerns that I had. The proposal arrived right on time. It was a little bit more than I had planned on spending, but they were proposing to do a fair amount more work that I had initially asked for. After reviewing the proposal, I figured it was worth it and I gave them the go-ahead. We scheduled a date a few weeks out (this was more due to my schedule, than to theirs). A crew of five showed up right on time and they quickly went to work. They were all very polite and friendly. They basically covered the entire upstairs hall (where the attic access was) in plastic to protect the carpet and furniture. They gave me a few updates throughout the day and the entire process took approximately six hours. During their lunch break, they gave me a chance to climb up and take a peek and how the work was coming and they explained what they had been doing and what was left to be done. When the job was done - the explained in great detail everything that the had completed. They had taken photos of everything that they did - so that I could see the work that was done back in the far corners, where I would have a tough time getting to. They also very thoroughly cleaned up after themselves - the upstairs hall and staircase were cleaner when they left than when they arrived. Since then we can really tell the difference - the upstairs it noticeably warmer - even during the polar vortex cold snaps that we've been having. We've had to partially close the heating vents upstairs to keep it from getting too warm. We are very pleased with the work they did and highly recommend them.

I wasn't impressed with Weatherization Services LLC. They kind of showed us you're losing heat here, here and here, but I expected they'd be going, "Okay, this is what you need to do to fix it." The follow-through with them was not very good. I already knew I was losing heat in my closet and my bathroom, but I wanted to know, "Now what." And they didn't provide any solutions.

I never got a return call after initial assessment with what the cost would be to do my attic. The assessment was done the 13th January. Fred said he would give me a call. I gave him the coupon that I printed so I don't have his number. Today is Feb 5th 2014.

The cost figure is an estimate of the actual job;however, it was reduced by a third due to a state reimbursement. I think the program for reimbursement still exists.

It went good. They did additional services. It was mainly insulation around the whole house, in the attic, basement and crawlspace. I was very impressed, they had a lot of people in here working really hard and really quick so I thought they were very efficient. They clean up after themselves, they got in and out of the house very quickly and they were pretty good about returning phone calls. I was able to use an Angie's List coupon so that helped.

Weatherization Services, LLC was very professional and responded to my inquiries in a timely manner. I'm looking forward to having the roof installed this spring.

I purchased the "Big Deal" through Weatherization Svcs for $99. It was for a "Focus on Energy" home audit and insulation package. The audit was performed by an independent auditor not affiliated with Weatherization Services(WS) who then submitted his report to WS which then sent me a proposal to do the work suggested by the audit. The report was forwarded to WS in a timely manner but it took several phone calls from me to Fred at WS to get the reports emailed to me. The report was very complete and I was pleased with how the auditor conducted his audit. The audit found that for the most part my home was pretty good but there was an issue discovered that showed I had an entire ceiling cavity in my attic area where the main house and garage roof lines meet that had no insulation in it at all. That finding alone made this whole thing worthwhile. It was suggested that I seal the attic penetrations, add cellulose insulation on top of the chopped fiberglass I already had blown in and finally foam seal the sill boxes in the basement to stop air infiltration even though I had batt insulation in those cavities. I contacted Fred after I received the quote and we negotiated the price and came to an agreement to do the work. I called on a Monday and was hoping to get the work done before the holidays but wasn't expecting it to happen but to my surprise they had a cancellation and were able to fit me in by Wednesday. The guys showed up, there were 5 of them, a little later than I was told but not any kind of inconvenience and got right to work, They were organized and professional and took care to make sure they didn't make a mess of the house. They worked for the entire day to do the insulation work in the attic. Another gentleman showed up later in the day to do the sill box sealing in the basement. The following day Francisco showed up to do a follow up audit to prove out that the work they did helped to seal up my house. The test was done exactly like the auditor had done the first one and it showed a 40% improvement from pre to post insulation work. In conclusion, I would definitely use WS again as the people who do the work are very professional and organized. Fred in the office can be difficult to get it touch with and you may have to follow up several times before you get a response from him. He does return calls and will follow up based on my experience.

A very positive experience. The men were great to work with, good communication, timely, and very satisfied with the finished product.

They guy that came out was very knowledgeable and nice he did a good job, however The guy who operates it got sick and it took a couple months to get back with the analysis.

First of all I have to say that the actual installation of the insulation went very well they were professional, on time, and thorough. Due to my experience with this company I watched them very carefully and got up into the attic and into the basement throughout the work being done to make sure that no steps were skipped. That being said, the rest of my experience was terrible so if u want competent and timely customer service go else were my experience was like pulling teeth. I have documentation so if u wish to dispute anything with my following statements I can post all the emails. :D??. So I called had the audit done by a 3rd party thru weatherization was told that if I did it through them I couldn?t go anywhere else and this was standard( this is a blatant lie what happens is they redact key information from the report including contact so that you cant bypass them I contacted another insulation company which was unable to retrieve the information through FOE because weatherization hadn?t filed any paperwork yet so they couldn?t verify that it was an acceptable auditor for FOE credits) also I asked what the difference was between the types of audits they offer using the coupons from angies ?.. was told they are all essentially the same by Josie and for some reason at the time they couldn?t access Angies list to confirm which coupon I wanted to use ?.. regardless I set appointment they came on time everything was fine called later that week was told it takes 7-10 days for report okay?..called on the 11th day at 9am was told I would be called back in half hour ?was called back in hour and half and told ?it was being done now? ?will get back to you after lunch? fine?.called back at 3:30 was still not done finally received at 4:30?. Total cost of job $12,000?..the break down made no sense turns out they left someone else?s figures on my paperwork??other issues with paperwork(scope of work) added an estimate for replacement of gas water heater (mine is electric) what floor the bathroom was on?minor stuff but easily avoidable with a little attention.( actual estimate for me was 2000)?.so I called the next day on the Aug 30th a Friday talked with Fred he reviewed the paperwork and admitted to making a mistake and he would send a corrected estimate. I finally broke down and called them back 11 days later Sept 11th (after contacting the other companies and finding out I would have to restart with a whole new auditor) to ask for the corrected version since he had yet to send it yet!!(Corrected version still had the whole last page with wrong figures on it but he had added the right ones on earlier I guess he forgot to delete the last page) I received it the next day with an explanation that he had been out of the office due to new born ( that?s okay but nobody else is able to pick up slack?)so following this we had a couple emails back and forth with me asking different things and him responding promptly till Sept 17th when I was all set to schedule it I asked for their FOE representatives number to confirm something with him was told he would get it to me?? Next day I received a new estimate from Josie on the work???.Turns out they have no communication in there office and thought I hadn?t been given an estimate yet so I got a new one with different numbers ( this was the first explanation) Told I would have someone call me back to explain everything?. I called back on the 24th 6 days later?. They said they hadn?t realized nobody had not called me??.I was then given a new explanation that it wasn?t even my estimate but someone else?s that they accidently left my info on and sent it (they use templates) although I have to doubt this as it fit my house perfectly (also they finally did give me the FOE?s reps number)?..except the price difference of course this time being higher but funny enough more detail on what they would be doing in the attic and less work in other areas which made the whole higher price arbitrary in my opinion??..SO now following instillation I have yet to be contacted 10 days later to set up the return appointment for the auditor so FOE can be calculated so I guess I?ll call tomorrow ?.kind of funny since I assume they want to be paid at some point??Sorry for long post but my experience with this company has been interesting and I thought I would share.

It was great.? He did a very thorough job and gave us fair estimates for some work that we have been contemplating.

It was very good. They were well priced and they cleaned everything up. It was very comprehensive and exceptionally done. They sent me quote for the work that needed to be done. I did have at least the portion of the work that they recommended completed. They gave me an automatic 33% rebate which was part of the government program. I thought it was very well done. I thought the most well done was the energy audit. They spent 2 and a half hours and I got a very comprehensive report plus he walked through the house and went over everything. The men that came to do the work, most of them didn’t speak English. It was a little hard to communicate a couple of questions I had.

I have not received the promised report. Infrared was not helpful due to temperatures. Did not do a blower test to identify where air comes into the house.

Did an excellent job. Group of workers spent much of the day working on the insulation installation. Worked hard. Didnt leave the house a mess. Cost was cheaper than the other 2 estimates I received

Extremely poor -- they failedt o contact me after I purchased the product in question months ago and refuse to issue me a refund directly -- their customer service is lacking.

We purchase the big deal last year. the Contractor told me since it was winter and we should wait till spring for the fan installation. We did not hear back from the Contractor and now we feel that we do not need the service.

Fine. Learned some things, but there was not much we could do that was worth the cost.
