The problem began on Saturday night (go figure). I thought I could just handle it myself because I'd done a water heater replacement once before. Bought a new one, managed to get it to the basement without dropping it, and got the old one out with no problems. Then the fun began - starting with an unforeseen problem with a cranky old gas shutoff valve. It was clearly time to call a pro. The skilled tradesman that show up was very professional and never mentioned my botched attempt. The job was cleanly and skillfully finished. No more plumbing for me. I'm just calling Ingrilli from now on.

Responded promptly with estimate and work performed. Very professional and neat. Didn't try to encourage work that wasn't perhaps warranted. Adjusted to my change in planned work to be done, resulting in less service provided, without any problem.

The plumber who did the work was on time, very courteous, knowledgable, and fast. He told us what the best solutions were for all the issues we presented to him, and included alternatives if appropriate, just so we had the full picture. We wound up NOT repairing the leaking toilet but replacing it. He worked on all the other drains and valves while I ran out and bought a toilet for him to use to replace the one that had a hairline crack in it. He finished everything else on the list just as I pulled back into the driveway with the new toilet. All his work was fast and efficient. He protected the surfaces around all he was working on with tarps, cleaned up any mess and took away all debris. He did a fabulous job on everything. I expected the bill to be higher since I thought all this would take forever, but he was so efficient and good at his job that it took a total of around 3 hours! Never happy to pay others for doing work that I thought I could do, but this time, and in the furutre, Ingrilli Plumbing will be my go-to plumber!

They are located right down the block but very expensive. I had an inspector come through recently and he told me that the extension conduit/piping wasn't even to code.

The service tech arrived well within the time frame appointment and accomplished cleaning out the sewer line of the shallow roots of maple trees native to this neighborhood. He was very professional, polite, precise, cordial and complete in explaining the service performed.

Very good experience! The plumber called to let me know he was on the way. He was on time and very professional. He assessed the job on his first visit and returned the next day to do the work. Because it was an involved job and he came to my house later in the day, he advised that we would incur overtime charges if he stayed to complete the job. Since ti was not an emergency, it as to our advantage to have him return the next morning so that is what we did. We appreciated the consideration. The work went well and he cleaned up after himself. Again he was on time, and very helpful explaining what he was doing. In general all plumbing work feels expensive. I am sure this was in line with what other plumbers would charge. It was a full morning of work and very involved so I believe the price was fair.

Prompt/professional. Company always attempts to get someone out as soon as possible. Workmanship is great.

Through no fault of Ingrilli, the stove replacement was a mess. We were replacing an old electric slide-in (built-in) stove with a new gas one. After Ingrilli gave us the estimate and we scheduled the work, we found out the new stove would not fit in the space we had due to the configuration of the custom cabinetry. There were also electrical issues and floor replacement issues at the same time. Therefore we had to reschedule Ingrilli's work around carpentry, floor replacement, and electrical work... twice. One time I was about to call and reschedule when he showed up - I had expected a call to schedule before he was to arrive. He ended up doing the majority of the work then and coming back to finish once the other pieces were in place. Throughout this scheduling fiasco - again, no fault of theirs - Ingrilli's people were all very helpful and accommodating. Although this job required three trips over 2 weeks, they did not charge me extra over the original estimate. I don't know if their prices are higher than average or not, but I have been using them for about 10 years (and three houses) and am always pleased with their quality, service, and attitude.

They did the work that I wanted. I was very satisfied. Their work was excellent and I would use them again.

Ingrilli is the next best thing to having a plumber in the family. This was our second service with them. Our bathtub had drained slowly for years and had finally stopped altogether. The standing water in the tub was black with gunk stirred up by my own attempts to get it flowing. The plumber showed up right on time. After looking at the problem, he suggested he replace the old trap and I agreed. Our drain now functions perfectly! What a pleasure to shower without standing ankle-deep in water and leaving rings in the tub. Most amazing of all: The plumber cleaned the tub. No, not his own mess -- he cleaned the slimy black sludge that was left when the tub finally drained. People, listen: He even packed out the towels he used to do it! I was surprised the work was so reasonable. They did not ask to be paid that day and instead sent an invoice, which was nice. I forgot to pay and felt awful that Vince Ingrilli had to call to remind me, they deserved better!

When setting up the appointment the owner was very friendly and helpful. We were able to get an appointment on relatively short notice. The plumber arrived on time and was very friendly and helpful, providing explanation for all necessary items. The work was done quickly and he cleaned up very well after the work was complete. It's nice to now have our go-to plumber in the phone speed dial!

They took care of the problem right away. I give them an "A" overall.

Our water heater started leaking and we called for service estimates to replace. Same day response to check out the leaking water heater and discussion of the options available. Estimate was given and work arranged for the replacement. Service was prompt and professional. Took the time to answer any questions and ease any concerns over water heater problems. Very positive experience all around. Would not hesitate to use again.

We are always pleased with Vince Ingrilli's work, and have not once had a bad experience.

They are a great company. They are good people, and they do a good job. His son is excellent, too.

I am extremely pleased with the service. The plumber arrived when promised and was polite. My water heater was hard to access but he found a work-around and made sure the area was clean when he left. Best of all, he was able to REPAIR the water heater (I assumed that I was getting a new water heater that day). He did explain that the water heater was really old and I would need a new one soon. Now - I can prepare for that eventuality.

Very professional and would highly recommend. The price was fair.

The vibrations in the first bathroom were getting longer and louder. He gave us a price to replace the cartridges (Ingrilli has a stock of them because of all the 1950s Crane fixtures in our subdivision). We agreed and the work was done promptly. The leaking in the second bathroom started over the next 2 weeks. We went back to Ingrilli. The work was done promptly. We added the water line for our new refrigerator since he was there. It took time to work the installation around joists and the basement suspended ceiling. A lot of dust came off the tiles, but were cleaned up.

I've used them in the past. They were expensive and they charge for travel.

Prompt service, I called one day and they were able to come out the next (which was fine since it only happened when it rained so I did not need same day service). They cleaned out the drain line and it has ben great ever since even with all the recent heavy rain.

It went quite well. The plumber recommended getting a new faucet and we accepted his advice. However, now the new one is loose, so it may be something about the Coreon countertop/sink, or the plumber forgot a locking washing. The jury is still out on this.

We discovered the drain in our basement was backing up from our central air conditioning and dehumidifier draining into it. We contacted VIP after reading reviews on Angie's List. After trying to snake the drain, the plumber found the drain completely blocked. They decided that they would have to dig out the floor and replace the drain. We were informed that if we could dig it out an do the concrete work ourselves we could save a considerable amount of money. We have a mason in the family that said he would be able to help us out. The plumber drew out on the floor where we needed to dig out, we removed the concrete and the old drain, and once that was done they came back and were able to replace the drain in about 90 minutes. It turned out that the old drain was cracked, and sediment had completely blocked the drain. We filled in the concrete a couple days later, and the drain has been working perfectly ever since. Everyone from VIP was prompt and professional, and I would not hesitate to use them again.

It went fine. This was a major project requiring a good deal of excavation. During the first heavy rains following the installation, the sump pump had no trouble keeping up with the substantial water flow. I did have some water trapped under the floor in the part of the basement where the old foundation drain was located. I had anticipated that this might be a problem due to the condition of my old drain tiles(the house is 75 years old). Still, Vince sent out one of his plumbers who spent 2-3 hours of time digging up some drain tile in the wetter part of the basement. He replaced the tile there, but this demonstrated to me that I did need to contract with a drain tile company to replace more of my tiles. As a result of the extra work, for which Vince did not charge, I felt comfortable that I did need to spend the extra money for more drain tile work. I did find a company to replace my interior drain tile and the basement is now drier than it has ever been in the 25 years I have lived here (I can't detect any visible water or seepage).

They did a good job. There were no problems to speak of.

The job went good. Very efficient & quality work and it's looks nice. They got it done before. They are prompt , nice, and know their work. We have been using them a few times over the years. Will continue to use them they know our plumbing.
